She chatted at each table over breakfast to check-in on everyone. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kimberly has also been trying all the local restaurants so she can give first-hand recommendations (or avoids) to guests. We provided one or two comments about our stay and she was very open to feedback. If you like animals, there are some very sweet dogs and two adorable and super friendly kittens available for pets, if you want... but they aren't around all the time, so if you aren't keen on animals, don't worry, they weren't underfoot. Seemed to be a quiet neighborhood and all the antiquing you could want is very close by.

The next morning was pure magic -- we woke up to freshly fallen snow and the most gorgeous winter view from our room. It honestly felt like something out of a postcard. The combination of the historic charm and the snowy landscape made it even more special. Our stay included a continental breakfast, but don't let that description fool you -- this was anything but ordinary. They offered made-to-order omelettes, eggs cooked any style you like, crispy bacon, home fries... it was a full, hot, delicious breakfast and such a treat! The birthday party was held in another building on the property called The Dairy, and it is absolutely beautiful. The Dairy can accommodate up to six guest rooms and features a large living area, a spacious dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen, along with an outdoor deck. It's perfect for gatherings and special celebrations -- private, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. With all the snow, my car just wasn't cooperating. Although the grounds were well plowed, I couldn't make it up the hill. Once again, the staff went above and beyond -- they graciously drove us up to The Dairy so we wouldn't miss a thing. That level of service really stood out. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxing getaway at a beautiful historic inn with outstanding staff, the Glassburn Inn in Fogelsville, Pennsylvania is absolutely the place to stay. A great array of books in the room and downstairs in the parlor, Shel Silverstein, George Orwell... The Historic Benner Mansion built in 1914 has been restored in all its proverbial glory. Comfortable warm and cozy. We stayed overnight on a rainy cold February night and the home was perfectly temperature-controlled, we were even able to go downstairs to the dining area for a midnight snack in our socks, that's how warm the beautiful original wood floors are throughout the two floors we inhabited. We stayed on the second floor in General Trexler's Quarters, a beautiful large, well-lit (windows all around with lamps and a candle) corner room with a separate dressing room and it's own large private bathroom with bathtub/shower. The four poster bed was comfort-beyond, the two teal upholstered seats in front of the television are comfy and great for reading, sipping tea &/or watching black & white Westerns on the tv. The roll-top desk in the bedroom was owned by General Trexler himself! We brought tea up to the room and read books and napped before heading out to a gig in Bethlehem. Breakfast is included, eggs & bacon, in the morning. Plus English muffins and jams, coffees and teas from a Keurig and hot and cold cereals are avail 24/7 in the dining room for your snacking pleasure. We will be back!

This being the first shower I had planned myself it was a great comfort to have Sam be there every step of the way; she was extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process. We were able to meet beforehand to plan the floor layout as well as the itinerary. With Sam's permission we were able to drop off decorations earlier in the week and arrived early Saturday morning to decorate. On the day of the shower the mansion looked absolutely spectacular; candles lit and flowers in all the right places. We made use of the piano on the first floor and had a pianist play during the shower. Guests continually asked us how we found just a gem! The Benner Mansion was lovingly restored by the Bennett family and is a beautiful building full of history and architecture; Sam knows every inch of the place and the story behind it. We jumped on the opportunity to book the entire mansion, and 5 of us were able spend the night after the shower. What a treat! I booked a dinner reservation for us at Union and Finch, which was within 2 blocks walking distance. When we returned from dinner we found the mansion was toasty warm despite the cold temperatures outside and we enjoyed libations late into the night. When we retired to our respective bedrooms, we found they were wonderfully turned down and the beds were waiting for us to climb right in. The next morning we had eggs and bacon for breakfast, along with coffee, and toasted English muffins. We all slept comfortably through the night and remarked how insulating the mansion was despite being in a city landscape. I had a wonderful experience working with Sam that will go beyond a business relationship. We are now family :)

Very nice hotel but they really want to nickel and dime you…read more.. We drove in from out of town (as I assume most people do) and arrived a little earlier than expected. Check in is advertised as 4pm (a little on the late side, IMO) and in order to check into our room and leave our bags we had to pay a $50 early check in fee. If our room is available, why do we have to pay? Just frustrating. The valet area is in a terrible spot on a heavily traveled road - you can only fit one car - so timing on that is a bit tricky. On a positive note - it's a nice, clean hotel that's is within walking distance to several restaurants and businesses. I don't know that we would stay again though - there are other hotels in the area that are just as nice.

Well kempt, the hotel is welcoming, strong, and beautiful in its own majestic right. The staff is friendly, well-informed, professional, and extremely helpful. Nicolette is an amazing desk clerk because we simply had a minor noise issue with a fan in our room and she helped to resolve that issue in mere minutes. At dinner, Dale had worked his afternoon shift and was on his way home when he was asked to return because the other waiter had called off. Though tired, Dale made certain we were taken care of with an excellent meal. (We say him back in the morning to work breakfast alone again!) The rooms are amazing and comfortable. We both had a truly fantastic evening and look forward to returning.

We started the planning process back in 2018 and because of covid, we had to delay the actual event. Over the last three years, Hasmik stayed in contact and remained flexible with our date given the pandemic. It sounds cliche, but we really could not have asked for a better planning partner who listened to every detail about what we wanted for the big day. We were able to host a tea ceremony before the wedding and Hasmik made sure that it was a separate, but wonderful decorated space. It came out beautifully. We were also able to have our beloved pets, Teddy and Daisy, by our side almost the entire day. We were able to tuck them away in a room when it was dancing party time. Throughout the actual event day, she assured us that she would take care of everything so that we could focus on HAVING FUN. we did just that. Oh by the way, their food was out of this world! How many wedding have you been to where you can say that? Every single one of our guests commented on how amazing the food was. Loved the crab cakes and mashed potatoes. Every single staff member who we walked past said hello and were extremely professional. Everyone had a blast. There were other ceremonies going on and the rooms are spaced so far apart that one party didn't over take another. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back soon!

My room was freezing when I walked in because someone had the air turned on but by the time I got back from dinner it was warm. The WiFi was a bit spotty if there was one thing to point out, but thankfully we were up and out before I had to do any work the next day. It was lovely to include breakfast with our stay as well. I'm looking forward to coming back soon!
