Gorgeous property. Loved the pickleball. Very friendly service easy check out and in. Dinner was fantastic and the included breakfast was also very nice

Absolutely loved our stay at Glasbern Inn. It's one of the most peaceful and memorable places we've stayed. This 150-acre countryside retreat feels worlds away from the typical hotel experience. The grounds are stunning, the food is incredible, and the staff really goes above and beyond. We stayed in the Stables Deluxe Suite, which has a spiral staircase that leads to a hot tub loft above the bed. It was romantic, spacious, and full of character, with beautiful original Amish framing throughout. It felt cozy and luxurious at the same time. Dinner at the Main Barn restaurant was amazing. Everything from the French onion soup to the lobster risotto and short ribs was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. And the bread pudding? Unreal. We asked Chef Christopher how he made it and he just smiled. Keep your secrets, Chef. We'll be back for more! Breakfast is complimentary and made to order, with a great menu and full service. We also loved the Pub for cocktails and apps. The service throughout the property was excellent. Beth, the innkeeper, shared fascinating stories about the property's history, and Kenny, the groundskeeper, clearly pours his heart into keeping the grounds pristine. If you're looking for a relaxing escape with real hospitality, great food, and a ton of charm, Glasbern delivers. To see more photos and read our full review, just search Glasbern Better Living.

Enjoyed a wonderful 3 day stay/event for work. I was originally disappointed because of the 1.5 hours from the airport but that disappointment was gone as we drove onto the gorge/quant 'campus'. Theme were all so unique - mine (the gatehouse) had a gas fireplace and jacuzzi tub. The food was incredible and the service stellar! Shout out to Nate who took care of us on our last night and had to deal with very tired, indecisive people - and he did it with a big smile! I am so happy to have experienced this wonderful place!

Visited the Glasbern for a wedding over the weekend, and this is most definitely a place you should add for a quick getaway! While there are different sizes and types of rooms, our room was barn/cottage style with skylights that gently wake you as you're starting your day. If you're holding an event, there are plenty of options to choose from. There's a pavilion able to be enclosed to help with the elements, various sizes of event spaces to choose from (I should've taken more pictures, but the setups were grand), and plenty of outdoor space for all the activities! They also have pub and dining areas where you can get some of the best drinks and breakfast (I'm sure the dinner menu is great, but I only had breakfast) you'd ever want, and a great staff that will make sure you're taken care of! As mentioned, this place should be high on your list if you're planning a weekend getaway, or any event!

I like this place for many reasons: unique farm setting; superb breakfast; short nature hikes that can be done as soon as you roll out of bed, many of them go up and down the rolling hills on the property; and beautiful plants and flowers found everywhere, specifically cultivated for the enjoyment of guests. The founding and development of the Glasbern Inn is clearly a labor of love. How it came to be is a delightful story in and of itself. I wasn't too happy that a wedding closed both the pickle ball courts and restaurant for a couple of days while I was staying there. However, I saw the young bride and groom having their photos taken after their vows; they were absolutely beaming, so I forgive management for not telling me in advance.

This is now one of my favorite places. The ambiance is fantastic, everything is absolutely wonderful , I love this place. The rooms are great , the service is fantastic and the food is totally amazing. There are walking trails, a pickleball court, a pool, a spa, a gym and lots more. I found it very relaxing and I felt very safe here . I definitely recommend Glasbern, and I will be coming back. It was a stay that I'll remember forever.

Long time-coming review, forgotten until triggered- In someone speaking to me about staying at Glasbern Inn. Rewind to November 2020.... My now fiancé and I had our vacation abroad cancelled due to Covid, so we decided on a weekend local staycation to still celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We were hoping for a special weekend at Glasbern Inn. We were sadly mistaken. We spent our first night enjoying the spacious 2 story room and jacuzzi. In the morning we asked for a change of linens. To which they were left outside of our door for us to change, due to Covid protocol. We stripped the bed and were DISGUSTED Blood stains, discoloration on the pillows and mattress pad. We slept on this bed, and found it the next morning. Nasty. We promptly packed our things and decided to not stay another night. The manager was not helpful and said we could not be refunded for our night stay. And that we had to work through our booking website to get the second night back. We booked through Hotels.com. Quite the surprise in seeing this type of housekeeping standard for such a well known and well reviewed establishment. Be warned.....check under the sheets!!

Gorgeous scenery, walkable, friendly staff and extremely relaxing! The bar is quaint & low key. Dinner was delicious!

Fantastic stay--from the room, to the grounds, to the food! My wife and I stayed 2 nights in a whirlpool room (lower floor main barn). Nice room. Everything functioned properly. The food was amazing! Breakfast was complementary, offered a huge selection, and excellent--not chain hotel-like food. We live not too far away and will definitely come back for special dinners.

I booked this trip as a birthday getaway with the intention of checking out various Christmas towns" in PA. The inn is exactly what is described on the website! We asked for an upstairs room so we would not have people above us, and I prefer a second floor room when staying. Pros: Very clean!!! I had read some negative reviews about the place saying things were stained but from my experience, everything is clean! Even though an older establishment, nothing looks worn out in the rooms. The venue is about 30 mins from everywhere we visited (Bethlehem, Easton, Bernville and Allentown. While the Inn itself is located behind a neighborhood, it feels very remote while you are here. More of a place I would expect to see adults vs. kids as there is not much to entertain kids here. That may be viewed as a con for some, but I was looking for a kid free place. The property is absolutely stunning! Grounds are well maintained and easy to navigate and not get lost. We took a walk around the property on one of the marked trails today and it was great! There are cute fire pits, seating area around the 3 ponds, and a deck option for our room. We did not use the deck as it was about 20° out! You may see a wedding going on depending when you come, but the wedding didn't interfere with our stay. There is plenty of parking in well lit lots. Breakfast is complimentary for your stay! Each day you sign up for a "rough estimate" as to when you will be arriving to dine since they do have some prepared pastries and coffee/tea in addition to a meal and want to make sure they have an appropriate amount ready. After being seated, your given a menu to pick an entree and 2 sides for your meal. Coffee/tea/water/juice are all options for you. Lunch is not available but there is an option for dinner but we did not use that. Our room had a gas fireplace in it which added a cozy touch. There is also a heater/Ac unit that is pretty strong if you need to adjust the temp. Complimentary waters and coffee are in the room, along with blower dryer and bathroom toiletries. GREAT water pressure in the shower! Cons: Only 3 rooms are pet friendly and there is an additional charge if you have one of those rooms. The property is hilly, so if you struggle with mobility this may be a challenge. Some of the secons floor rooms have additional steps to access. The dinining room for dinner is on the pricey side. Kind of out of the way from any town activity, so if your looking for an active place, this is not it.

There are a couple restaurants and a strip mall with several stores within walking distance (pretty much the same parking lot) as the hotel! Super convenient! Check in was quick and easy. The room was very nice and clean with updated furniture (sofa and chair) for somewhere (besides the bed) to sit and relax. There was a cute little vanity area with outlets and a wall hairdryer that worked better than the one I have at home. The little "kitchen" area was nice too. It had its own sink, cabinets to store food in, a mini fridge and a microwave. Perfect for a weekend trip! The bathroom was very clean and roomy and the shower has great water pressure! I wish I would've taken pictures but you'll have to take my word for it. We have definitely decided that if we were to come back to the area, we will be staying here again!

I stayed here for a couple of nights and honestly felt like I was on an episode of The First 48. The hotel sits right next to a shopping center with a nail salon, Goodwill, Domino's, Arby's, Cracker Barrel, a cannabis store, and more. So there are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. But this review is about the hotel itself. The room was doable for a very short stay, but I wouldn't have wanted to be here any longer. There was visible filth in several areas (photos attached): * The bathroom was not clean. The shower curtain had gross brown stains, and the bathroom door had yellowish stains that looked like tobacco residue. * A dead cockroach was on the windowsill. * The A/C unit turned on and off in loud bursts all night, making sleep difficult. The free breakfast was very basic and not appetizing: a waffle maker, a few bread options, powdered eggs, and sausage. The communal syrup bottle was sticky and gross. We said eff this and went next door to Cracker Barrel the next morning instead. The front desk staff was friendly and the shower had good water pressure, although it didn't heat up enough. Were the only real positives. Overall,I can't recommend this hotel unless you're really on a tight budget and just need a cheap bed for a night or two. If you do stay, check the room throughout and bring your own disinfectant spray. Suggestion for the owners: go to the Goodwill next door and buy a shower curtain lmao. Anything from there would be safer than the curtains you're using now. People shouldn't be exposed to that kind of stuff in hotels period! It's just unsafe and unhygienic.

This isn't a luxury hotel by any means, but it's comfortable and perfectly adequate for a weary traveler and a pet. This is an older hotel. The lamps have outlets in the bases, but no USB and certainly not USB-C ports. Good thing I brought charger thingies that plug into outlets, or I would be without a charged laptop, phone, and watch! Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. So is customer service, when you call. There's a pool, a 24/7 business center, and other amenities, but no restaurant on site. There's a diner nearby, and a Taco Bell. I don't eat Taco Bell, but the diner was a very short walk. Even if you are just staying one night, sign up for the free membership. You get free WiFi and can ask for early check-in/ late check-out. And you constantly get thanked for being a member, lol. I was delighted to see a bathtub! One advantage of an older hotel. Renovations always seem to involve replacing the tub with a giant shower. Bleah. The kitchenette is stocked with plates, cups, and wine glasses. Woohoo! But the TV is oddly located facing a wall, not the bed or sofa, although I suppose it could be turned. There's no table next to the chaise longue, so I put my wineglass on an ottoman. Not ideal, since I had to stretch, but it worked. The bed was comfortable, but I woke up itchy. This may be because it's a pet-friendly room, and I am allergic to MANY breeds of dogs, and all cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc. Sadly, I forgot to pack my allergy meds. Anyway, I would stay in one of these hotels again. Perfectly adequate, and much more space than just a room.

It would be too crowded. There was a pool right across from our room, but we didn't have time to use it. At most, I've seen two buses parked there in the morning to pick up people. Similarly, the lobby inside is unnecessary spacious. I've seen people sit at the bar and one person sit in one of the chairs waiting for a ride share, otherwise, it's typically unoccupied. The (one) elevator is down a hidden hallway behind the check-in desk. Also, the parking lot is further away from the entrance than most hotels, which was a pain when it rained. The hotel room itself was clean with good insulation - the room next to me blasted music and/or a video game that could only be heard from the hallway. The bed was comfortable, but the comforter was dirty with stains (photos attached). The bathroom was large and I liked how the water handle was on the opposite wall of the shower head so I could "preheat" the shower without getting wet; however, the storage space in the shower was very limited and the shower glass door kept rolling open creating an 8-inch gap and causing a draft. It may be the humidity or wetness causing the door to not stay closed. Additional benefits at this hotel included the hydration station and in-room dining. I liked the idea of the hydration station, though the "spring water" provided was just warm tap water. There was ice available at the hydration station as well. Room service was fine, but I wouldn't recommend it. The burger I ordered wasn't the highest quality, but it was good. The fries may have been old or cooked in old oil. Together, the burger + fries were not worth $17. The raspberry cheesecake didn't taste fresh, and I just ended up eating the whip cream. If you plan on staying here just for the bed and room alone, it's a decent option and I slept uninterrupted. The only services I appreciated were the hydration station and daily housekeeping. I could've done without everything else and still enjoyed my stay. I would also recommend this hotel if you like long walks - long walks down the hallway, a slightly longer walk to the parking lot, and an awkward walk through the unnecessarily large lobby.
