Attic Treasures has so many items, it's unbelievable how the owner can fit everything in her store! What's interesting, I saw so many Raggedy Ann dolls and vintage, women hats that aren't as prolific at other antique shops AND she even has several Siesta Ware cookie jars that I've never seen at other shops. I've visited antique shops in Rosenburg, Alvin, and in Houston many times and I've never seen these jars there. The prices are a little more than other shops, but understandable since some of her items I have not seen anywhere else. Irma, the owner, is super friendly and so sweet! I probably spent more time chatting with her than browsing. She is so amazing, she gave me career advice! LOL Her fur baby, Precious is super cute and followed me around the store until I cuddled her. Can't wait to come back and spend half a day browsing and hoping to snag a great deal!

It wasn't a big deal because I was going to the food court to grab a bite to eat, so I figured I'd come back ,in about half an hour, and hopefully it would be working again. When I came back there was a lady working, she stated she was the owner, so I proceeded to ask if the machine was back up and she said indeed it was. My backpacks were already bagged behind the counter, so I let her know the situation, since the gentleman was no longer there. She asked me what total he had given me for both bags so I told her it was $24 with change. I wasn't sure of the exact cent amount. She then told me, she wasn't sure how he came up with that total because it was supposed to be $33 before taxes. I was a little shocked. I mean I could understand if it was a couple of dollars off but this lady was pretty much charging me for another bag, if compared to the price the gentleman, who she later said was her son, was charging me. I communicated my dissatisfaction and she proceeded to say that he didn't work there and he didn't know the prices. I was very confused because he was the only one working when I was there the first time and I'm sure he wasn't just pulling numbers out of the sky when he gave me a total. This is definitely not how a business should be run.

I own a shortboard but Texas surf most of the time isn't strong enough for me to get up on my board, so I always rely on Breaker sports to rent me one of their longboards. Prices aren't bad either, it's $12 per day with a $12 deposit for the boards. I can't remember the rental price for wetsuits, it has been a while since I rented one as I purchased my own wetsuit and spring suit a year or two ago. In addition to their rentals they also have a nice size selection of boards and gear to buy. I would much rather buy from them than take the risk of buying something that is misleading online. It is a family owned business so you get that family type of atmosphere as soon as you enter the store.
