I thought I wanted a vest and when it came in I didn't like it and went with a cumberbun. I thought I wanted a certain shirt and he got it for me, but it turns out it didn't work and he had a plan B ordered for me just in case that happened. Everything was far more affordable than I anticipated, also. Anyway, I looked great last night. I snapped a few photos that I've attached (it's hard to capture a navy blue suit with black accents in dim light!), and I had a flood of compliments from everyone. This is how it goes when you're only 5'1"! You can take clothes in already pinned how you need them altered or you can try them on in the shop for her. She's always busy, so the wait may be longer than you expect. But the work is top notch. I've been happy with everything she has altered for me. I'll keep taking my clothes to her when I need alterations.

I returned and they needed additional time, seemingly quickly sewing the whole front in place so that the buttons were unusable. When I complained she first stated that my request was impossible (but never called to discuss this,) then changed her story to say that this over -the-head sweater mode (which now made the sweater completely unusable with a dress,) was what I had initially requested. At home I did the work myself, so obviously her "expertise" was a sham. Now calling the Better Business Bureau to obtain my money back.

I took my massive jeans to Kim's alterations as a last ditch "maybe they can fix these" before I gave up and donated them. When I tell you these jeans fit like a glove. Kim's alterations perfectly fit them for me. I can't even tell the jeans were altered. They fit me better than they did when I first purchased them. I also took a swimsuit to get altered and it also fits beautifully now. I'm a very happy camper at the moment. I will be coming here for every alteration / clothing repair for as long as I live in the area. Can't recommend them enough.

My theory is that this shop has…read morelived for years via word of mouth recommendations, which is great, but I'm a bit frustrated that they don't have any kind of digital presence to keep patrons updated, especially when things are changing consistently during the pandemic. Found out today that they are *closed Sunday-Tuesday*, but only after I drove over and was standing outside their door. Would recommend that they at least put a sign up on their door with their adjusted days/hours of being open, especially since I'm sure they want folks' business. That being said, the owner of the shop is the sweetest little lady and does very good quality work. She has advised me several times on what makes most sense with altering clothing and I'm always happy with the end result. It's a little pricey, but worth it if you really love the clothing piece and want to make it last a long time/look like it was made for you. They often have a cute little dog in the shop. For those wondering, I was told they're open Wednesday-Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.
