It was really crowded on a Friday late afternoon. I was able to scan what I needed to but when the machine I was using jammed twice, there was no staff available to assist. I could fix it the first time on my own but had to switch machines halfway through my job due to the jam. It was quite pricey too for the total of the scanning, in my opinion. If there were 6 stars I would give it an extra. I spent 5 hours working with Amir and Aurora the outstanding owner and staff to produce a written and visual project. They bent over backwards to assist me and advise me on formatting, printing, producing a final product. They provide way more services than Amazon returns, post office boxes and mailing. This is the most amazing business. In an era where customer service seems to have become a myth rather than reality, this store has reinvented small-town treatment of people. I've been in several times, to pick up packages that have been held for delivery and to ship items; if they're busy they acknowledge you, and then when you're up they treat you with incredible politeness and professionalism. I arrived with my car filled with large pack and ship items, then checked inside with Manny behind the counter to make sure I could use the back door to unload everything. I returned to my locked car only to discover a dead fob with an uncooperative key. Manny was beyond patient and helpful, schlepping most of my stuff inside after helping me sort out the car issue. He was also diligent and thorough in finding me the least expensive options to pack and ship everything, and had my transaction completed efficiently and quickly. LIke everything else, shipping costs have gone up, which makes convenience, reliability and good service increasingly important. This locally owned store offers that in spades. Use to love this store and was right around the block from us. We are in SC and needed our work computer shipped for us. Our friend took it here to be packed and shipped for "next day" Delivery. We spent $270 for this. Only to find out that on Monday when looking up tracking nothing was showing up. They did not tell Our friend next day delivery for Sunday would NOT ship out until Monday night- so they charged her the rate without disclosing this and charged us ultimately way more $$. We called Monday and the girl on the phone was literally useless. Could not find our package we paid $270 to have shipped overnight! Talked to the girl that actually was handed the computer, literally handed it to pack and she as well had no idea what happened to it. Furthermore no manager was there to deal with this. Finally we got called back as they "found" this $270 package still at their facility. Not sent out for next day nor disclosed. The manager called us back and said we had to put a claim into corporate to get refunded for their miscommunication or rather non disclosing it would not be next day albeit charging us for it. Further more the manager called our friend who had sent this package to us and berated her and asked her to calm us down after she said she was not told that it would not be delivered next day. We had a reason to be irate because we went for literally 6 hours not knowing where a $270 package was and a $1000 work computer (and his staff had it there the whole time!!) how embarrassing and . So unprofessional!!! SMH. I'm so disappointed because I use to use these guys all the time but after this I will never be back.
