My Items was stolen at this location. Make sure your box is sealed prior to dropping off at this location. There are thieves here that will still anything they can get their hands on! I went to this UPS Store because its near my job to return some clothes to a clothing store. They were kind of busy so the customer service guy weight my item and told me don't worry he will seal it and ship it out. I thought everything was done on my part until I received an email from the clothing store that only 1 of my 4 items was received. I told them to re-check; they did and told me to submit a claim. Long story short the items went missing in the UPS store before they made it to the company I was shipping it to. The company refunded me the money, which is why I still shop at the company. I no longer go to this UPS store, I will go out of my way before going here. I hate thieves with a passion and to smile in my face and take my merchandise is just disgraceful. Awful experience. Made the mistake of dropping in here to ship some supplies back from a business trip. Maybe the problem lies with the UPS store as a whole (later found out that it has zero affiliation with UPS itself), and how they nickel and dime for absolutely every single thing. -I am pretty sure ten dollars is outrageous for a 21x21x13 box. Nice margin there folks. -No tape to use while packing my items in my ten dollar box, needed to buy an entire roll of tape. -Bubble wrap, one dollar a foot, thanks for nothing. Going to these places is never fun but these guys get the job done as quickly as possible. They seem to be a little cheaper than FedEx and they're in walking distance. Shipping is always annoying and the pricing is always a mystery but this place makes it a little more tolerable. read more

It really says something about a business when the post office down the street offers better customer service than the business does, but that's been exactly my experience. I've been here twice, both times to drop off "return" shipments, and both times have been treated with stunningly poor customer service, with the entitled twentysomething that runs the place (?) barking orders at me as soon as I walk in the door. Now I get that the store probably doesn't make anything off of prepaid shipments for which it performs no function other than serving as a drop-off location, but that's part of the deal when you're a UPS Store. If you don't like that, perhaps you should think twice before buying into the franchise. On my second visit, it turned out I also needed to buy a box, so after looking around, and seeing none, I ask "do you sell boxes?" The entitled twentysomething looks at me like I'm an idiot and replies "uh, yep, we have lots of different size boxes." I ask if he has any are made up, and he flippantly replies "nope." Ready to just say "Okay, then, I'll go somewhere that does," he offers a very, very short olive branch, asking if I am looking for something that is more or less the size of the box I just dropped off. We proceed to a successful transaction from there, but the attitude was a little stunning, particularly for a store that is, more or less, focused on little more than selling crap to ship stuff - like boxes. If you're like me and needed to find a UPS location to drop off a UPS package, then you're stuck with these guys in this immediate area. But if you're looking for straightforward shipping services, I'd strongly suggest checking out the FedEx Office location a few blocks away on Crystal Drive. They're a bit more polite and even show you the boxes before you buy them. read more

I use this particular UPS Store often. Friendly staff and great location. I took off one star for the horrible parking (competing with the Costco crazies and other businesses) and marked up shipping costs vs. going direct to UPS. HEADS UP: don't park in front of the 2 open spots on the side where is says no parking, but looks like you can......we don't like excitement in Arlington, so all the cops have to do is give tickets.....and they will for that spot (I think they hide in the trees). read more

I think they are pretty good. Sometimes too busy to be super quick, but very helpful at forwarding my mail to me on the road, which I have to do at least once or twice a month. The parking situation is hit or miss, but you get a lot of people coming and going from the street parking meter spots, and often I park on the other side of the street. What a rip off! I had a small item to mail and I expected to be able to use a UPS Tyvek envelope, but the unhelpful attendant said "We're not required to carry those." I had to ask what the options would be and he looked at me like I was nuts and said "we have envelopes for sale." So, not having a choice I bought the only envelope they had that would work: $3.85 for a #5 padded envelope. Same envelope at Staples costs under a buck. I will avoid this place except as a drop off location for pre-paids. They're not getting any real business from me! I hate feeling ripped off! read more

Great store! The staff are polite, knowledgeable and quick. There is a store closer to my home but this is my "go-to" UPS store.

Pretty easy to park around this location. I had to go here the other day to get a notary to sign off on something for work. $5 and they are there all day which is nice. I printed off 2 pages and once the notary signed my paperwork I had to scan it back in to send via email. The 2 guys that were there were nice. It was a little ridiculous though that I used the computer for maybe 45 seconds and they charged me $3 plus a dollar just to scan the paper back in. Absolutely amazing! The people here are great and the location is prime. Parking is tough at times, but so is everywhere in Arlington. I frequent this location and have never been let down. Please avoid shipping from ups stores if at all possible. Their rates are exorbitant. Last Saturday, Dec 19, i was going to ship 2 lightweight ornaments to N. CA in a padded envelope I purchased there. The clerk told me it would cost $98.00 if I wanted it to arrive before Christmas or $29.00 to arrive after Christmas. I asked her to please check; there must be a mistake. I paid for the envelope and left. The following Monday, a friend shipped the same package through office mail room for under $9.00 to arrive at destination 12/23. I told the manager about this yesterday. She politely explained to me that her store does not set the charges. We are being ripped off by UPS folks. read more
