Helpful staff. Convenient location. The place can be really crowded but things run smoothly with expert staff.

We attempted to ship an iPhone last month at this location. A different package showed up, but it had the same label as the iPhone that was shipped. My wife called the store, and was told the manager would call back, but he never did so my wife went to the store and spoke with him. He said that he would investigate and get back to her. Once again, the return call never came, so I went to the store with my wife once again. On arrival, we told the manager that we were waiting for his return call, he told us how he has 3 stores to manage and he needed to look at 5 hours of video tape because he can't rewind/ff the video machine. We were then told that he would get back to us either the next day or the day after, he needed to contact the hub and open a claim. Once again, there was no return call, so 4 days later I decided to call Corporate and see if a claim was opened. No one could find a claim; I was sent to one phone number after another. One number that I was referred to, sent to other departments, only to be sent back to the original number. Support is set up through the Locally Franchised stores, if you don't have the Local Store Support contacting Corporate, it is extremely difficult to open your own claim. As part of the process, I was referred back to the Local Store several times for required information that the local store label calls one thing, but the Corporate Claim form calls something else. You are put in a situation where the Local Store is saying it's Corporate and Corporate is saying it's the Local Store. If you are able to get an answer from the Local Store! I gave up trying to file my own claim and went back to the store 9 days later, we had still not received any call back from the manager. Our conversation was not cordial, as the manager was immediately hostile upon my arrival. I assumed it was because he once again didn't do what he said he would do. I see a lot of responses about providing World-Class Services. My expectations of World-Class Services would have included: * My wife is a senior who returns online purchases but doesn't ship anything of value. Since you are the "Shipping Experts" a recommendation to insure the package would have been nice, especially an item so susceptible to theft. * A Manager who doesn't view their customers with problems as burdens on their time! * A Manager who builds trust with customers by following through on promises made and providing reliable information to customers with UPS delivery issues. * A Service Provider who provides transparency with investigations. The information that I received from this claim is a claim number (that I don't have authority to access) and a picture of the wrong package being delivered. When I asked Corporate if there were any pictures of the package as it left the store. I was told that the Local Store does not have to share the pics or video .........what!!! It appears that it is just cheaper to pay a claim than try to find out what happened, we lost over $700 on this transaction. Even if it was insured, just pay it and move on. We tried to ship another iPhone, this time we had T-Mobile ship it, once again through UPS. This one they tracked to the Miami Hub where it "disappeared". We are going to try again, but this time using FedEx. read more

Went to the Pennell UPS for a notary public and the service was exceptional. Had 3 docs that needed to be witness and notarized, and Heather was organized, fast, and friendly in moving us through the process. Even with other customers in the store, our important paperwork was taken care of in no time. read more

I had an excellent experience at this store today. I had a return to make and asked if I needed to buy a bag. The clerk offered to seal up the old bag and put the new label over the old one. Not a high level of difficulty, but i appreciated her courteousness and efficiency. read more

I've frequented this store for the last 12-13 months. Maybe every 6-8 weeks I visit. Every time I go, there is a major issue or hang up. In the beginning, it was employees and ownership disregarding pandemic protocols and not wearing masks or letting patrons come in without masks... than about six months in, after frequenting this store, I was told they don't receive wine, which is what I was picking up. A debate ensued between employees about whether this was accurate or not. Clearly it is not because today when I went to pick up the associate told me how many packages of wine people picked up today! They also ALWAYS ask what's in the box? None-of-your-business is how I feel but I always answer. Are you even allowed to ask that?????????? Anyway... I got a call earlier this week that they had two packages of mine and if I didn't come get them this week they'd be sent back. I called said no problem, I'll be there Friday to pick up. So here we are Friday. Guess what, they shipped one package back and kept the other. Asinine. To top it off I've paid $10 every time I've gone per box. Today I was informed... we have new ownership and the owner decided this box will cost $20 and the box they shipped back after telling me they wouldn't, would cost me $40. So why and what happened to cause the up charge? "Because the owner wanted to." Was the response. Well new ownership has been around for six months right? "Well no since November." Yeah that's six months cause ya know it's April. And I've been here twice since November so not that new and this has not happened before. So here's the deal... I'm done with your shop. Poor customer service, poor communication, and I refuse to support ANY business that price gauges. "Because the owner decided." Keep an eye out for a direct email from me that'll be quite a bit more colorful. I'll be sure to include the folks/department that gave you the license for the franchise as well. The team members at this location in Aston are great they go above and beyond and they are super friendly I visit this location several times a month and I've never had a bad experience there were times when they were short staffed only seeing one girl with blind hair and glasses working the front her line was out the door but she remained calm and professional even laughing with the customers that were waiting in-line keep up the great job team ups read more

I will have to admit that I rarely do anything but drop off packages but I have to say that every time I do the staff is friendly and courteous. If I did have other tasks than needed their services I would be happy to use them. read more

The UPS Store - Entrance - Shipping Centers Near Me - Aston, Pennsylvania

THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST UPS STORE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I chose them ship a glass sculpture and, after two months delay, they finally shipped it, fully insured, and it arrived totally shattered. Since I had insured it, I thought I would be reimbursed, but after MORE THAN A YEAR of back and forth, they REFUSED to pay for the sculpture stating that their insurance denied the claim. I had to sue UPS and finally recovered 50% of the value of the sculpture. AVOID THIS INCOMPETENT AND UNETHICAL UPS STORE BY ALL MEANS!!! You have been warned. read more

Very rude staff! When I walked in and said what service I needed, one guy totally ignored me and the other sighed heavily and walked away. When I was asked for my ID, I wasn't even given time to get it out and LITERALLY 2 seconds go by and the one guy said loudly ID. I NEED YOUR ID. I will never again use this UPS location. read more

I am dithering on what to rate this UPS store as I had 2 dramatically different experiences on day apart. The first day was horrible. I actually came back the next day and even though the store was more crowded (the young lady in the back came out front to help after hanging up on a personal phone call), I had a better experience. Do not come here if you are in a rush. That said - they do know what they are doing and my packages were shipped without issue - please they stock inexpensive shipping supplies. read more

Dropped off a package to be returned. Loud music with constant expletives playing from the front counter. I would have been embarrassed if I had come with my wife/child etc. Staff working there were old enough to understand how inappropriate this is. Makes you wonder if management is onsite or if they are what they are thinking. Too many other local choices with professional/welcoming atmospheres to consider using this location again. read more

I shipped a computer from the UPS store in Aston and it arrived at its destination with a cracked screen. I filed a claim at the store and the representative told me multiple times over 2 months that the status was pending. She was unable to provide me with a claim number or any proof of the claim submission. I called the 1-800 number and was told that a claim was never filed for that shipment. I went to the manager, who insisted that the rep filed the claim and ultimately told me that they would not pay for the computer anyway because I had packaged the computer myself and it was not donebya rep. This was never communicated to me when I purchased insurance on the packagewhen I shipped it. Terrible customer service and managing. read more

The morons that run this location and their superiors have no knowledge on the rules and regulations of shipping certain items and have wasted my time on multiple occasions. Every time I have set foot in this store I have regretted the ordeal and will never use them again. I'd advise you use another location or better yet another carrier. read more

I had few horrible customer service experiences recently. I made an appointment at 10am to notarize something. I arrived 10:04am in the store, and the person who can do this left to the bank. The other staff wasn't very nice informing about this. Few days back, I was there to drop a package and asked to check whether I correctly input the declared value in the shipment label I created from the internet. Staff said yes and gave me a receipt. I asked back: so, did I input the correct declared value at $xx? And the response was: you created the shipment, I can't see anything. Well, why did he say yes at the first time? read more

The man working at the UPS Store in Aston was incredibly kind and helpful during my first visit to the store. I was in a bind (and a hurry) and he went above and beyond to help me out. I plan on using the store exclusively from now on because of his generosity. read more
