I usually go to the post office but decided to give UPS a try. I will no longer be going to the post office. I walked in with an armful of stuff I needed to mail. The clerk helped me figure out a package, taped it up for me, patiently added the address and made sure I got the best price and was extremely pleasant throughout. The post office usually doesn't give you a piece of tape for an envelope! It was so easy and the price was reasonable. The employees were friendly, professional and simply nice. UPDATE-- I had to change the address of my package because I made a mistake. I called them and it took all of 5 minutes for them to change the address! THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! read more

This review is for the packing and shipping of some fragile items. Do NOT trust this store to pack anything for you, especially if it is valuable...even after you tell them it's fragile and it's glass so please pack it accordingly and they promise they will...they won't. Or perhaps I was unlucky enough to have someone who didn't know how to properly pack...regardless, one time is enough to never come here for any shipping again. I had 6 light fixtures that I was shipping to my boss' friend for their apartment. They were not cheap fixtures. They were around $500 a piece, but my boss had no use for them so she wanted her friend to have them. We didn't have any packing materials and we trusted that a shipping company would have enough experience to know how to pack and ship such items. When I arrived, I was helped out by a nice enough kid and explained to him that the items are fragile, they're glass and to please make sure to pack appropriately. I literally carried them in and placed them gingerly on the counter and went over it with him. He assured me that, "Absolutely of course, we will pack these properly." Went through the whole checking out process (had other packages as well, but not fragile), got insurance for my packages and happily left to continue on a busy day of errands. When the package arrived at the friend's apartment, she said that she heard the tinkling of glass before she even opened the box. As you can see in the pictures, they were destroyed. There was one sticker that said "Fragile" on the box...no "Glass" stickers, no one wrote "Glass" anywhere even though we had discussed that...the bubble wrap was the WRONG kind of wrap...each light should have been wrapped in either bigger bubble wrap or styrofoam wrap PLUS bubble wrap. And there was only one layer of the slightly bigger bubble wrap around all 6 in the box. When I checked my receipt to start a claim, I saw that the kid hadn't added insurance to that particular package! I immediately kick myself for not double checking the receipt when I was done, so that's one me. I call anyway and speak w/the manager and let him know what happened and he gives me his email...I send him the pictures and write everything again and NOTHING. I follow up a month later and NOTHING this continues for 6 months. In addition to this b*llsh*t, I have a lot of work on my plate with my job and have to move twice a year so I've given up the ghost! However, I wanted to write a review about my experience so you know that if you ever need to ship anything fragile, pack it yourself or take it somewhere else completely and ALWAYS check the receipt to make sure insurance has been added. read more

I tried to talk to Customer service and they said they can't help. I have to go on line. I left a review and still no help As an older person I don't know how to do this. Bozeman UPS is a true nightmare trying to get any package on time. 3 days in a row they put my packages on the truck then didn't deliver them! Deliver my my on time or close your store. They have also made it impossible to talk to any person on the phone or store to complain to. read more

I love the customer service here but had a run in with a female maskhole who deliberately walked within 6 feet of other customers to drop off her packages... 5 separate times, and one of those customers was on the elderly side. When her coat brushed mine because she was incapable of saying excuse me pushing by, I asked her not to touch me and pointed out how gross and disgusting she was for not being able to follow simple pandemic guidelines. Please don't allow these horrible insensitive people in your business. Have them drop their packages off outside. read more

The folks at the UPS Store in downtown Bozeman get the job done. No fuss, quick, and easy. Just what you'd want and expect. It's a perfect place to drop of Amazon returns. Make sure to pack up your Amazon returns. You will get charged for packaging here if the original wrapping is missing. COVID safety measures are reasonable well enforced. Customers keep somewhat of a distance and disinfectant is available. I did see one customer in line without mask and it wasn't addressed. read more

I use this store mainly to return Amazon packages because it is easy, quick and convenient. I went in recently and 3 men who came in just before me were not wearing masks. When I politely inquired to the manager why she didn't request they put them on she said in a pretty aggressive tone, "look there is a sign on the door, and if you don't like it, you can ask them yourself," and turned around and walked away. I understand businesses may be walking a fine line, and that a few people are not required to do so, but the manager was exceptionally rude. People are learning they don't have to wear a mask because they are not requested to do so. We are in the midst of a pandemic and public health crisis in Bozeman. I will be taking my Amazon returns to Kohl's for now on. read more

The worst store for customer service in the county! This is NOT how Montana does customer service. If you are from out of town, or even if you live in Bozeman - there are options! You deserve to be treated like your business matters. I have heard that the Bozeman UPS store does one of the highest volumes in the country. I know my little $500-$600 a year will not make much difference. But I will still either go to the UPS headquarters in Bozeman, or drive to extra miles to Belgrade. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. Called to see if they would let me mail a package here with my companies ups account number. Was told they can't confirm payment for those accounts and cannot help me. Ok. So they can't provide a service that is over 50% of UPS's business. EVEN THOUGH OTHER FRANCHISE UPS STORES CAN. Is this pure laziness? They also answered the phone while tapping up a package, incredibly loud and disruptive, and when I asked if she could step away from the tape or pause for our call, she completely ignored me. read more

The lady seemed to think I was crazy to say I got an email stating a delivery window time but I was hoping to pick it up sooner because that time was after 8pm. I have had an account here for around two years. Service the entire time has been about the same regardless of the employees. I have found the lines to be quite long most of the time. However the staff once you get to know then is very friendly. They promptly email when they have packages for us and accommodate special delivers and drop offs for common carriers. These folks are not the cheapest I've ever seen but I don't mind. The location is good and services are pretty decent too. However they would benefit by keeping a notary on staff! (Hint, hint). Overall were satisfied with the services they offer. Except mail services which I mean USPS seems over priced compared to actual USPS rates. read more

Most of my overnight packages are delayed year round. I often buy from venders who use fedex even if the cost is double. This UPS hub is terrible at overnight delivery. The majority of my shipments are live ornamental tropical fish so its important they arrive overnight. read more

Terrible service---NO SERVICE. Drivers do not deliver to home address AS PAID FOR. Instead, they lie about making a delivery attempt then say that the package has to be picked up at their center--miles away. No phone number to call to request an actual delivery. Who's in charge?? read more
