I had bad experience with UPS due to their policy at this location few months ago I came here, a young girl gave us the best service, although we end up did not use any of their service. The girl is very friendly and I can tell she knows exactly what she needs to do. Thank god she knows her job so well! When I walked in the manager was screaming from the back on the phone with raj about 10/11. The store had many customers. The lady took my live scan request before telling me it's $90 not $40 as listed in google and online. And then still tried to charge me when she said she needed the physical form to print the form. No service, no questions, and in the end not even able to do a "certifix" live scan with $50 charges above online listed price. Thislocation needs some looking into. Bad all around. I walked out, they tried to say I need to pay but I would have demanded a refund if I had. Idk what they are thinking There's a reply about this ups being franchised owned. And a bunch of stuff about packaging rates and stuff. It doesn't apply to a live scan and doesn't negate the fact that the fee is online to google. read more

It's a UPS store - so my expectations are about the same. Even though I have a neighborhood UPS store that I use weekly, I was in the Brea area and figured why not to ship a return back from this location. I have passed by this location countless times over the years, but have never went inside until yesterday. Parking was easy to find in front of the store and I was in and out within a few minutes. It was easy peasy to return an item, scan, wait for the receipt, and I was on my way. From the looks of it, there were not many mailboxes to rent, the location is a bit on the smaller side - ever since it moved from the other end of the plaza, where it used to be directly across from the Chiropractor and Fantastic Sams. Overall, the interior was clean and it was easy to find parking in front of the storefront. I was greeted immediately as I stepped into the UPS, and was helped quickly. I will most definitely stop by here if I ever need to utilize UPS when I am in the area. read more

To make matters worse, I later discovered that the same shipment--during which I had already dealt with a rude employee--was never even sent out and ended up being returned to Amazon. I come here 3 times a week and tbh...these women/girls are the best! I think the negative reviews are not that fair. The girl that lady that work there have ALWAYS BEEN so great. I believe it's all the UPS policies along with franchise policies that make it difficult for customers to appreciate what the employees do. They work so hard so please be patient, respectful, and appreciative of what they do. It's like what you have to do at your job. Came in to drop off packages , was told I had to pack it myself, not what Amazon told me . I had another package with UPS label and box just didn't tape, was told they couldn't tape it and I had to have it packaged before entering the store. Not great customer service and in this case why not just have machines to scan and print my own label as it seems that the employees don't do anything other than this for the customers . Not sure why Yelp is listing this store as closed, but it is definitely operation. Maybe it changed franchise ownership (for the worst). 9 out of 10, my UPS experience has been very good, and of course better than at the Post Office. However, the Indian female owner or manager is super penny pinching. She overly critical on how you package your items because she wants to buy supplies and threatens to turn you away. Most people give into making purchases since time is money, but it makes for a bad experience. She did this to me saying that she didn't like where my label was placed on the box. Her employees were willing to re-tape it for me but she was adamant that I buy and use my own tape (by the way she charges $7 for tape that is normally less than $3, how greedy can she be...). In the end, I bought the tape and the employee said not to worry and he would re-tape it for me after I left. I could tell he wanted to help me. I don't recommend this store with this manager/owner. I feel bad for the nice employees and you can tell that she isn't really pleasant to work with. She cares about money not about people experience. Luckily there are plenty of UPS stores so I'm hoping this owner loses enough money so that there is eventually new ownership. read more

I had a box shipped here in the fall and it was easy. So I did it again, today they are telling me its a $20 pickup fee! WHAT? I pay for shipping and I have to pay a pick up fee for them to release my package to me. When I asked why, that I didn't have that happen to me before, he started talking over me, telling me its a private business and I can't ship things there. I'm sorry, I thought it was a ups store for ups shipments. Then he said I wouldn't like it if he shipped something to my house and he had to come to my house to pick it up. As a business owner everyone knows time is money. Well I had a heavy parcel I was supposed to return but the company didn't supply me with the right labels. I went to 2 different UPS stores and they gave me the run around. Like it said the parcel was heavy and it became very annoying to keep bringing it back and forth from my truck to the store and back. But that all changed when I visited the UPS store on Beach and Imperial. The owners were very kind and held on to my parcel while I had the company email them the shipping label.
