This by far the worst and unprofessional shipping place I've been to ever. There is a rude older woman who's the owner or part owner. The employee tries to be nice under the circumstances but know they are being forced by the owner to rip off the customers. I had a UPS mobile code to ship a return. They said I had to pay $2 plus tax to print the label. I mentioned that at any other UPS store they just scan the mobile code, print the label and stick ot on the package. They said not there. $2 plus tax or else no label. The person (the older woman) and others who own this franchise should have it taken away by UPS for their shady practice. They always get my packages to where they need to go, however the service is most always sub-par. They always ask me why I'm there when I walk in, even if they are helping someone which seems rude. When I tell them what I'm there for they say "Well you need this." - well I have it. "Well you have to wait." Ummm..ok. Then it's some 15 - 20 minute explanation about how if something gets lost its not their problem. Blah blah blah. Meh. They get my packages where they need to go. There are so many of these UPS stores. I'm sure, in general, they're pretty much the same, with respect to product and services. I'd never before really needed to visit one until the other day. All I had was an Amazon.com return. I had already printed out the return slips and was walking in with an open box. (I wasn't quite sure of the process for returning something, and I didn't have any tape anyway.) It wasn't a big deal. But I am taking the time to write a positive review, and this is solely because of the exceptionally nice lady who was working there. I would have been third in line as I walked in. Even though she was busy helping two customers at once, and although she was the only employee working at the moment, she still acknowledged me: "I'll be right with you." And she smiled. :) Now, I don't know about you, but there have been plenty of times where i have walked into a store and have not even been welcomed, not with a nod, not with a smile, not with a "hello." There have been times when I have walked into, throughout, and out of a store and never been noticed, it seems. At least I've felt that way. So when this nice lady smiled and said she'd be right with me, and afterwards when she said that she was "sorry for the wait," and as I left, "come again soon," I was impressed. And here I am, now, writing a review in appreciation for this one person's nice gestures. :) What's sad is that this is how it is supposed to be, how it should be. Isn't it? I shouldn't have to leave an establishment thinking about how nice I was treated, should I? That should be standard, the norm, no? Are we getting too used to the idea of being treated as though we're invisible? Is this practice becoming commonplace? And are we simply accepting of it? TERRIBLE!!!! Do not go here. I was shipping a gift to a client and picked out my package to ship in and while I was filling out the address for the sticker the woman stuffed my gift in the box and sealed it. I let her know that I had a letter that I wanted in the box as well. She said okay and tore it open on the side so i could put the letter in. I looked at the tear and it really looked like a package that had been knocked around and not very professional at all being torn open in the middle with a big piece of tape over it. I asked if I could use another box and she (Sue was her name) said "sure as long as you pay for both, since you asked me to open the box". I told her that I never asked her to seal it. She said sorry that's the way it goes. I said fine, just ship it and asked her name so I could do a complaint on yelp. After thinking about this for 15 minutes, I decide I'm not going to trust them to mail my package since it cannot be tracked and I'd just had an argument with an employee I didn't want to risk losing an $80 gift in the mail. I came back and said I want to cancel my transaction and will pay for the box but not the shipping. The store manager (name Mano, Indian woman) says she is not able to issue refunds for standard mail orders. She can refund anything but that. I told her fine, you want to save $6.00 from a customer, I'm going to blast you on every site online i can find. Here we go. Went here to mail something off two day air, pre paid, showed up with the printed label in hand. The last 30 times I have done this at other UPS stores they simply pull out the 2 day air envelope from behind the counter, put my paper in, and mail it off. This location, however, told me I obviously needed to pay extra money for the two day air envelope, and tried to charge me money for it, even though I had already paid for the shipping, which includes the envelope. Walked out, went to another UPS store in town, was in and out in 1 minute and didn't have to pay anything extra. When I told my tale of unsuccessful shipping to the clerk at the second location, they told me of course I should not have been charged extra. Will be avoiding this one for sure. This is a place to ship stuff out - it's not a restaurant or a clothing store, so it should be quick, easy, in and out, right? You'd be surprised. Some of the reviews that people wrote a while ago still applies today! Some of the female employees, especially this one girl who doesn't wear a mask, has an attitude problem. I really do not think this ups store should be exist. They should be closed forever. Both my friends and I have had horrible experiences while we dropped off our packages there. During the holiday season, my friend came to their store. Trying to drop off couple boxes. The young girl told her that they could not take them since they were almost full. And ask her to go somewhere else. This is really rude and unprofessional of them. If the ups store does not take their drop off packages, who will?! As a franchise, the local USP store has no rights to refuse to receive the drop off boxes especially there were nothing wrong with the packages. This is not all the story. Couple weeks ago,My husband went to this ups store to drop off serval boxes. this time was the old Indian lady, ( she Is the manager). She told my husband that they only could take 3 boxes( the box is not huge, and they do have lots of empty space) and asked him to drop off the rest 3 at other store. I'm assuming the new management are new franchise owners. I went in to ship 5 packages, with pre-paid labels, 3 of them were small boxes, the manager walked out and asked me "do you need to purchase tape to use for your boxes?" I was surprised by her question and I said " I have to purchase tape to ship 3 tiny boxes the size of my hand, you guys don't provide tape for your customers and she replied "if it was one package you wouldn't have to but you have more than one package I would have to charge you either $3 to use "theirs" or purchase my own tape for $6. Seriously the most ridiculous and absurd experience ever. I have used UPS to ship things since forever, never was I ever asked to pay for "tape" to seal the packages, and she ended up charging me $3 "under "Gen Packaging fee" never going back again. read more

Dropped in here to get something notarized. As I walked in, I was not greeted in a conventional manner, but with a rude, "What do you need done?" After answering I was told it would be a wait, which I was ok with at first since there were 2 customers ahead of me. Then, I realized that there were two employees that were both helping the first customer in line (which I believe could have been done by one while the other helped the next person.) Just saying...they lost my business and if it hadn't been for the fact that the woman ahead of me was dropped off and waiting for her ride to return, she would have left too. Same as the other reviewers, the Indian lady extremely rude and what makes it worst is that she is the owner. We sent an overnight package and the clerk put the wrong address and wrong phone # information, the guy ask my mom to pay and sign. Once we notice the package was not delivered, we went to the store and the only thing the owner did QA to hide behind the small print, saying it was our fault, funny because we didn't type, we do own up that we trusted them to do their job and did not check and notice the error. But the owner was extremely rude, there was no attempt to help us, again in a very very rude manner, she kept putting the blame on us, when her employee is the one who type the wrong address. I walked in and tried to ship 2 simple pages of document to Asia. I often do this so i know the price. The indian lady said the only package i can use is close to $100. What? She said there was no cheaper option. I used to ship via fedex at almost half of that price. She said i need to go to the post office for the cheaper option. I guess I just don't understand the concept. I had a customer ask me to send him some product on is UPS account number. Sure, why not, it is across the street. Took the items to the store and was told, no we only ship paid shipments, we don't take 3rd party accounts. Why is UPS involved in this at all if you can't drop packages off at the store. Yes, I get it is a franchise. But that doesn't mean you can't take the package and give to the driver when he comes for the other packages. UPS-give them a slight discount or something. I've been to dozens of other The UPS Stores with prepaid labels on boxes to ship. All the others happily tape my box closed. Nope, not here. They want to charge $1 for a few inches of tape. I recently went to this UPS store and experienced very bad costumer service. I have summarized my experience below: I was second in line, with a long line developing behind me. The two employees working in front were busy with costumers, but an employee from the back came to the girl in front of me in line and stated if she has a simple drop off, she can hand it to the employee and not wait in line. As she was interacting with that girl, I stated that I too have a drop off, but I need to tape up the top of the box. The employee tells me I need to wait, so I waited. The employee continues to help people behind me in line. As she continues to help others, some were just walking into the store whereas I had been waiting for some time at the front, I repeated that I had "a simple drop off like everyone else she had already helped." She said I need to wait, and that I need to get a confirmation; she did not say anyone else with a drop needed a confirmation code and let them leave quickly. Once she had helped everyone else and there was literally no one else in the store the employee comes and tapes my shipment box haphazardly. As she is printing a confirmation number, she asks me if I have money. I reply a little confused, "No, the box has a pre-paid label; I shouldn't have to pay anything." She responds, "No for the tape, you have to pay fifty cents for the tape." I tell her that I have come to several UPS stores and have never been asked to pay for taping up a box. I then look into my wallet and say, "I have no change but I do have a dollar bill." The employee tells me I should drop it into the donation box at the front desk. Never have I personally experienced anything like this at a UPS store, and after conferring with others, none of my acquaintances said they have been asked to give money in order to use one piece of tape. The OTHER UPS store on imperial is much much better and more kind. I truthfully feel good after leaving that UPS store. My cousin came to this store to mail out her malfunctioning AT&T cable box because AT&T customer service told her to... When she came in to the store, they took the box without an order number. When my cousin got back on the phone with AT&T, they told her that they weren't supposed to take the box without an order number. She came back to the store trying to get her box back, but they kept saying, "we're just doing our job" without actually giving her a real solution. She went back outside the store to call AT&T, and the guy, Richard practically threw the box at her and told her to get lost and go to a different UPS store. My cousin got pissed, and asked for the manager, but they said there is no manager. So she looked at his name tag, and he raised his hand to cover his name tag... WTF! Later on, she called corporate UPS store to complain, and they told her that Richard was the owner of the store. Such terrible service! read more

Been here a few times and have never been very impressed with the service, but just a few weeks ago I went in to send a quick fax, as my fax machine wasn't working. There was one customer being helped, by an associate. The store manager was standing near the windows, and saw me when I came in. She merely looked at me and said "She'll be with you in a few minutes." And then she proceeded to stand in the same spot and stare out the window doing nothing else for the entire 10 minutes that I was in the store. Apparently I was not important enough as a customer to assist me. The other UPS store in Brea (near Brea Blvd) is absolutely opposite of this store, completely focused on customer service, kind, and VERY efficient!!!
