Adding to the list of complaints about the customer service. This is a franchise and you would think would run similar to other UPS stores. Wrong....the owner has no problem expressing he can charge what he wants to who he wants. He has no problem letting his rude customer service skills shine and be known to the public. After I called UPS customer service to complain about "the Gregory," I learned that he is a franchise owner for this location and the one across town on Oxford Drive. If you read my review of that one, you will see why I can't be quiet about this one. I only visited this store once, and being fourth in line at the counter, I watched as the Gregory yelled at someone for not taping up a box to be shipped with a prepaid label. He yelled. He didn't politely describe his packing charges which seemingly include a charge for each individual strip of tape, but instead told the lady to take her business elsewhere because it was a waste of his time for her to be there and not purchase anything. She simply requested that she step out of line in order to tape it up herself and he bit her head off about it. UPS needs to do something about this wiener of a store owner. In-and-out time for dropping off my prepaid package? 32 minutes. Sheesh. read more

I went in to drop something off to be shipped. And the man that was there was extremely rude. No people skills whatsoever. His entire demeanor was unacceptable. You should not work with the public if you don't like people. I went out and then returned and confronted him about this. Telling him please and thank you goes a long way. He then got very upset saying that I never paid him for anything m, I didn't buy anything. Which I have no idea if what he was getting at was he didn't have to be nice since I was dropping off? I didn't realize this was a franchise and when I asked to speak to the manager, DM or RD he said he was because he was the owner. In shock I turned around and walked out while he kept yelling. What a shame. If you google this shop also, you should read the complaints. I just am very disappointed with his behavior, especially as an adult. I am moving further and will take my complaint to someone that handles this. Just because you have a franchise does not excuse you. You still represent the UPS brand. read more

Just got bamboozled. Two friendly men helped me ship boots. I didn't have a box and they said they had one. They got a box from the back, put the boots in, sealed it with a piece of tape, weighed it and told me the cost to ship was 10.20. AFTER the package was labeled and taken away, the total cost to me changed to 18.50 ?? I was told the extra money was to cover the box, the piece of tape, and their packing services. There are other services that can be used to ship, so just be aware of this situation and lack of transparency and surprising expense. read more

Today I went to the UPS store to ship some packages from my workplace. It was unbelievable to me that one of the workers was not wearing a mask and he was waiting on and was very close to a customer who was pregnant. I guess he didn't care about her or her unborn baby. He just doesn't want to wear a mask. One of the other customers was wearing the mask below her nose, which doesn't help anyone either. When it was my turn, I stepped back and said, "I'm standing back here because you don't have a mask on," and pointed to where my boxes were. I believe it was the supervisor or another worker that then went and got my boxes and brought them over to the other worker. Then she got the receipt and brought it over to me. She said nothing to him about not wearing a mask. WHY WAS HE NOT WEARING A MASK AND WHY WAS THE OTHER WORKER WEARING IT UNDER HER NOSE? COME ON JUST WEAR THE MASK AND WEAR IT CORRECTLY -- IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO PROTECT YOURSELF AND OTHERS ESPECIALLY IF YOU WORK IN SUCH A PUBLIC PLACE. DON'T GO HERE. FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE THAT IS SAFE. read more

Please, please, please do not use this location! I've never met such a rude person, and unbelievably he's the owner. I have used this specific UPS store several dozen times because it's conveniently located near my home. Plus, the employees are very nice, helpful and pleasant. However, I hope to never use this location again after today's experience. This is only the third time I have seen the owner in the store, and the third time I've had a HORRIBLE experience with him (3 out of 3). He has no idea who I am, so it's not like he doesn't like, or have a grudge against me. The second experience with him is the most notable. My wife and I visited to get something notarized. She had a few questions and he literally seemed to be annoyed and upset that we were not familiar with the notary process. This man does not deserve loyal customers. I will go out of my way to another UPS store location in order to not give this man any of my money. read more

Like some previous reviewers, if I could give this place zero stars, I would. We went in to get something notarized. As soon as the guy came out from the back, we knew we should have left. He came out looking like it was a big inconvenience for him. He started shuffling through the papers and he was shaking his head the entire time. And then after going through half of the papers, he said he wouldn't do it, said it was illegal and proceeded to be rude. Well...it wasn't illegal, we told another notary public about it and she said there was nothing illegal in those documents. It's a simple real estate document from our relocation company. This guy was the owner and it just seemed as though he did not want to be bothered with providing a service that is offered at his store. I have never experienced worse service than here. The owner is a jerk, a rude jerk who doesn't deserve to be providing any type of customer service. read more

I have had mixed experiences with this UPS store. The staff during the day was friendly, decent, and helpful. While not stellar, they did the job. In the evenings I have dealt with the owner Gregory C. Glass who was anything but helpful, friendly, and decent. If you love officious, unnecessary, misanthropic bureaucracy this is who you want 'helping' you. I however won't ever go there again. read more

I had a passport photo taken here. I took the photo and application to the city/county building to apply for a passport. The clerk said the photo was not acceptable (too dark) so I had to pay to have another photo taken. On the way home, I stopped at the store with my receipt and photo to get my money back and was told to come back the next day when the manager was in. Returned the next day, only to be told, said manager was not in. Tried again, today, and was told, the manager just left...REALLY?! and to try back in an hour. Finally, when I returned, the manager was in, but left me waiting for 15 minutes while he was on the phone. When I explained what happened, the manager said there is nothing wrong with this picture and had a total "attitude" with me. He finally did give me my refund but has lost a customer. I will never return to this business again. This JERK needs to learn the concept of customer service! read more
