I needed a document notarized for a bank transfer. I discovered today that there is a tight deadline on the process, so I was under some pressure to find a notary -- particularly since I'm relatively new to Pittsburgh. I called nearly a dozen notaries in the South Hills -- and while many of them were likely just fine, none of them answered their phone! Horrible experience. Took forever to tape and ship a box! I even had the label pre-printed and with me, so all that was needed was to put bubble wrap in the box and seal it. The woman was more interested in trying to see what was being sent rather than wrapping it. She tried at least four times to take the bubble wrap off, even after I told her it was an album cover. Then, the man came to take over. The whole thing took almost half an hour! Ridiculous. In addition, I called ahead to ask if they had DHL boxes, and the woman assured me they did as I was planning on buying a box at Dollar Tree a block away. But when I got there, they did not, she lied, and it ended up costing $8.90 for just the box (not shipping). I told the man that the woman needed training and to learn the services and he basically blamed me for asking the question and ignored the feedback. I will NEVER go here again. read more

I do a lot of shipping for my job...and have had some logistical issues that have involved things like not finding the right packaging to dealing with third party shippers, to customs nightmares, etc. I discovered BOP a few months ago and I wish I had known about them MUCH sooner! Made an appointment for an FBI fingerprint check, arrived about 10 minutes early, and got my prints taken in a very timely manner. Staff was friendly, precise, and I quipped that my prints would fly through the check. I got home around 12:30, and my approval from the FBI popped up in my e-mail before 3 P.M. Some of the quick response is part and parcel of what I did for a living for 20 years, but I'm convinced that the care in preparing the electronic prints had quite a lot to do with a successful visit. Waited last minute to get my fbi finger printing clearance done and they made it so easy! I did the pre registration online before coming in and when I arrived as a walk in he checked my email to make sure I had signed up for the correct one. I did have to wait while the other walk ins were taken care of, no biggie! If an appointment comes in, they will be taken first which obviously makes sense. There's tv to watch while you wait, they even have snacks for sale, soda, coffee even candy bars. They have a cute little old dog, Gizmo who just walks around, minding his own business. It seems like this place is a one stop shop for all your shipping and packing needs. They have greeting cards to send with you package as well. They have decorative shipping packages and really anything you can think of. The staff was beyond friendly! The main man, he was busy but still very polite and professional. The woman working the counter was great to chat with while I waited. The young man doing the finger prints was efficient and very nice as well. I made an appointment online for fingerprinting. My appointment was at 11:30. I arrived at 11:20 and signed in. There were 5 other people waiting but I wasn't sure who had appointments or just walked in. At 11:40 (10 minutes past my appointment time) I asked the woman at the desk when I might be called. She said she didn't know. Another customer waiting said she had an 11:00 appointment and still hadn't been called. I asked the woman behind the desk why they even bothered to schedule appointments when they clearly don't stick to them. She said it's because walk-ins wait longer. She could have cared less. This place is extremely inefficient and a waste of time. Do not go here for any reason. read more

Probably the most pleasant and organized company for finger printing I ever went to. I'm a 5 yr CDL driver and always HATED the dreaded fingerprint day. Last place I went to took a hour because my finger were cutting up and their machine wasn't identifying many peoples fingers that day. Today I tell you the young lady, staff and their nice sweet little dog greeted me with courtesy respect and professionally took care of my needs within less than 15mins. I'll be back here!! I was so impressed by my visit today. I had gone in for the Identigo service. I had completed the online application wrong.The person working not only caught it but helped me find the information I needed and had directions on how to re-enroll to get the correct paperwork. Also, while there the person before me forgot her ID and he literally ran outside to catch her before she left. Plenty of parking. Great selection of office and shipping supplies. This is the best place to go to get your fingerprints done! I went to another location aka Upper St Clair police department and they were completely unorganized and had no idea what they were doing. USCPD left me sit there for 2 hours and then sent me to Back Office Plus when they didn't have time to do wait on me. Don't waste your time going anyplace else! This is hands down the best printing and shipping store!!! Not only do they do it all but sooo friendly it makes for a pleasant experience . I do a lot of shipping selling eBay etc . I stopped for s while because it was such a pain to print out the shipping label , find a box , tape it and then find a mailbox. When I would go to the post office they have boxes but you had to buy a whole roll of take every time ( because I always forgot it ) Or fedex would charge to print any labels and same there - extra for boxes and tape. Dan always lets me print from here printer and boxes / tapes up any priority mail shipping without a problem and happy to do it! If that isn't great on it own , I printed a bunch of posters and such for my sons birthday on a Sunday . I went after store hours ( on accident ) Saturday to pick it up and they were closed! I emailed dan to apologize and he met me at the store and let me pick up my items!!! That is phenomenal customer service !!! Thank you soo much !!!
