Would rate a 0 if offered. This morning, I encountered the most immature, irresponsible, discourteous person that I have ever experienced. On drop of, 8/6/24 @ 1:54 pm, the female person behind the desk was laughing at a coworker behind his back and making negative comments to another coworker. Upon calling this morning - 8/12/24 at about 10:00 am - to inquire about the status of my package, the female worker - possibly the same one - cut me off mid-sentence several times and was not helpful at all. I felt verbally abused and demeaned by this person and decided that it would be easier to hang up and try to figure my package status on my own. read more

Forget the Post Office and Fed Ex, as you should only be using the local Brielle UPS store. They are all so friendly all the time. With all of the Amazon returns they deal with, they always have a smile on their face. The entire team does a great job, but Mary is awesome! She is super attentive, and always goes the extra mile to ensure her customers are taken care of. Whether for business or personal returns, there is no need to go anywhere else. read more

I love the employee's at this location. I was amazed by how professional the staff was with a difficult customer today. They all kept their cool and even though they had to ask the woman to leave when she refused to keep 6 feet from the clerk helping her, they never acted unprofessionally!! I generally do not write reviews for anything other than restaurants, but my experience here was so ridiculous I feel compelled to write this. I understand that this is a private business, and not UPS itself, but I would say that to the general public, that distinction is blurry and most people assume this is UPS. These stores offer all the services of UPS, they wear jackets that say UPS, the store proudly portrays the UPS logo on the front door, and in essence they DO represent UPS to the public. Having said all that, here is my experience with THIS location and the lesson about terrible lack of judgment or business savvy on the part of the person I dealt with. I hope they learn from this: I received a UPS delivery at my home, but it was addressed to the wrong person. The address was correct but the person it was addressed to was wrong. So, being a good citizen, I made a special trip to this UPS store to bring them this package, and I told the woman behind the counter that it was a missed delivery. She looked at it and said she can't take it back because "we are a store", and that I would need to give it to a UPS delivery person. I said it may be weeks before I see a UPS delivery person, to which she replied "well you can call UPS and schedule a pick up". I reminded her that this isn't my package and I've done enough already to try to remedy your company's missed delivery. But she refused to allow me to leave the package with her. Now I don't know about you, but wouldn't you think she would have the know-how and means to contact the company she purportedly represents? And even if she did not, don't you think it would have made common business sense for her with her UPS sign on the door, to happily accept the package from me? And thank me? Now, does she really think I will ever go back there to send packages as I have done for the past couple of years? What a loser. read more

Inefficiency and inconsistency. I've had a mailbox with this store for a few years and for the most part I simply walk in, grab my mail, and leave. But when I've used them for any other service I've often felt like everyone is a new trainee. Each time I call or stop in and speak with a different person I'm just about guaranteed a different story. They don't seem to communicate well with each other and I find myself having to really stay on top of them. Simple tasks become cumbersome chores. I still have an overall positive experience with UPS Stores, but this location could be improved. They're not by any means terrible. I just feel like they need to be retrained and do a better job communicating with each other and their customers. read more

I needed to get a bank document notarized. I googled for notaries near me and found this UPS store. I went to the linked website, which apparently is the website of the UPS store franchise company. It indicated that notary service was available at this specific store location and offered the ability to make an appointment online. So Friday morning I made an appointment for that afternoon at 4:30PM. The website confirmed the appointment, sent me an email confirming it and it even got added to my phone calendar. Reminders popped up on the phone. So, I arrive at 4:20PM only to be told that the notary is only there until 3PM! I said that I had made an appointment online. The man said that they have nothing to do with that website, it's not their website, they are an independently owned store. It seemed like this is not the first time this has happened. How can this be? Surely if a franchisee calls up and says that they need to stop doing this, it can be fixed? I'm to believe that the UPS store parent company just makes up hours for a notary, regardless of when they are actually there or if they even have one and books appointments? And even if that was true, if it was my business and if the parent company claims they can't fix it, I would have my attorney send a cease and desist letter, because they are destroying this business. The employee was not really apologetic at all, more of just it is what it is, nothing we can do, attitude. Had I not been totally mislead with this being scheduled, I could have either gone earlier when the notary allegedly was there or to another one during the day. Instead, since they hosed me at 4:30PM on a Friday afternoon, it's not getting done this week. And no, I won't be going back here again either. read more

During this time of uncertainty, it was a pleasure to use this UPS location. Everything is disinfected after each customer!!! Everything is wiped down, the front door is held open (one less chance to spread germs) and the floors properly marked. I can not say enough about how satisfying it was to be in and out in record time, all packages secured and ready to be mailed! Job well done! read more

I left a briefcase and laptop at a nearby hotel. They wouldn't ship it to me directly or drop it off someplace. I called UPS in Brielle and Wesley came to the rescue. He went to the hotel, picked up my things, wrapped them and shipped the entire package to me. I received my things the next day. The service at this UPS is exemplary. Thank you! read more

I use the Higgins Ave UPS store frequently and have always been very satisfied with the service. They are very personable and efficient.

Went to the store to find a very long line with conversations between employees and patrons that were dragging on simple transactions which delayed me from completing a routine task of attempting to log onto the computer to try and print one piece of paper. The computer is so outdated it did not load for more than 5 minutes and when trying to print, all updates weren't done not allowing to print a pdf email attachment. Very frustrating to walk out with a 2 min task not completed. read more

I am very disappointed with the notary service. I scheduled an appointment on line to have a document notarized. I received an email confirming my appointment. I left work early to insure I arrived before my scheduled time. Upon arrival I was informed that the notary left early. I was not notified via email or by cell phone of the change. In my opinion the service is unreliable and unprofessional. I would not recommend using the notary service for business or personal use. read more

I brought a package to the store and ended up cancelling the shipping. No one was able to help me. After me having to call back multiple times it was finally resolved. They told me to go into the store and pickup my package and I would be refunded. After I had to go back to the store twice because they couldn't find my package, I was refunded. They then called me back the next day to bring the money back because I shouldn't have been refunded. It was the most unprofessional and rude conversation I've had from a business. It was very convenient to have my UPS delivery dropped at this facility because we were not at home when UPS delivery was scheduled. We received a call from the store to let us know our package had been delivered. The owner and employee were very polite and professional. To improve business, and goodwill of your customers, I have one suggestion. Since I was alone picking up a big box, and the employee was not busy- I was the only person in the store- it would have been so appreciated had the employee offered to help me to my car with delivery. made me sad, on a few levels. read more

I am new to this area, so I assumed I would have the same type of service I enjoyed at the UPS store I frequented at my old address. Was I surprised! I walked in and was stared at by a man standing at the printer. I then waited at the counter for 5 minutes. Finally, I asked the man at the printer if anyone was working- he looked at me and raised his hand- I thought he was a customer! Finally, he came over abruptly, and took my shipping information and my items to be boxed and brougth them into a back room. I explained that they were sensitive documents and that I was required by HIPAA laws that the items needed to be sealed in front of me. He was irate and told me to package it myself ( although, I'm pretty sure the $7 I was charged for the packaging included him packing it). A few people came in and out to have their packages scanned, but it really wasn't busy- although this man acted like he was actually mad that people were coming in. After I finished sealing my box, I asked if he was the manager or owner- he said he was the owner!!! What a terrible way to run a business. I told him that I was upset with the service that I received and he insincerly apologized..I told him that he didn't even acknowledge me standing there, or said hello- then another woman came in and he said "oh HELLO", just to be sarcastic. Needless to say, I will look in the area for another UPS store to ship anything else. What a terrible representative for UPS! read more
