AWFUL EXPERIENCE. They lost my box bc THEY put the wrong label on it and tried blaming me. It's all good, I have all my receipts. KRUNAL PATEL (manager - Owner) assured me he'd take care of my issue and get back to me the week of 7/8. I never received a return call. Today is 7/13, I called and asked for him, he's in Vegas. While I was in there complaining about my package which was supposed to go to Queens winding up in Georgia a lady was next to me also complaining about the same issue. I will post this review everywhere possible until I get a refund. Yelp and google are done, BBB is next and I have to get UPS corporate involved too. read more

I used this store to ship 7 of my mother's family plates to my house in Florida. I paid $153 to them to pack and ship 7 plates, normal to small size. They did a terrible job of packing and one of the plates came broken. The value of the plate is only $50 but I still have not received reimbursement though it has been over 6 months since they were shipped. I have called numerous times, and they said they were working on it but I am getting nowhere. read more

I shipped a $2000 printer that weighed 40lbs. I explained that I needed it packaged so it wouldn't get damaged. They threw it in a box with a small piece of bubble wrap. The printer got destroyed and now i am fighting with the insurance company to get reimbursed for their mistake. Do not use this shipping center. read more

I was treated so bad at this UPS store on Hooper Ave Toms River NJ the man who waited on me would not help me with the hand truck I used instead of taking it from me and I would hold the door, instead he holds the door and watches me struggle getting it in the door! When I met him at the counter he was not going to help me with how to get a label (which I was unaware I needed) not a happy person I ended up going up to the young boy and told him he was very rude & not helping me or being a nice person. I ordered an IPhone and it was on the truck scanned and to be delivered by the end of the day. The package arrived, scanned and was being delivered from this store. It never arrived, so they updated the delivery to the following day, then the same thing again the next day. Today there is now no updates and that it will Be arriving "soon" and they're looking into it. I received the empty box for my old phone to be traded in, but it appears they either lost the $1000 phone, or that an employee possibly took it and that it's lost. How does it go from being scanned and on the truck for delivery three times to now being "lost" but the half of the order with nothing but a box arrived. I've put in a claim and been given no help. I am perfectly fine with picking up the package if need be, but all I've been given is instructions to file a claim and wait 15 days, when I could've went directly to the Apple Store and picked it up. I understand delays, but this is getting ridiculous as it's guaranteed air saver next day. read more

I went to this UPS store because the FedEx store near me wasn't open for some reason. I got a legal document printed, pdf'd and emailed. They charged me $32. And they forgot to send it to my lawyer. Also I had to email them when I was there. (unlike FedEx who keeps track of their emails). A mistake was made on my part and one mistake on their part so I had to go back in the afternoon and do it all over again. The nice notary guy felt bad for me and said, "we won't charge you this time." However, the manager called him over and told him he had to charge me again. AFTER ONE OF YOUR PEOPLE TELL A CUSTOMER NO CHARGE you don't go and tell them, we have to charge you. And so that was $64. It ONLY COST $15 AT FEDEX FOR THE SAME SERVICE. read more

Hate going here at Tomsriver ups due to Matt always being so rude. Today came in with two packages and a broken wrist. I was trying to place box on counter open up amazon app to scan. The second box I place on counter held my phone to scan still broken wrist in cast Matt says can you put box here? and points to the scale. You see I have a broken something. I told him. I hate coming here cause you're always so rude. This time I will write a google review about you. Previous visit he argued how my item was delivered in a particular box. ( I told him I don't make those decisions). He said he cant guarantee the sticker staying on. I said it's a box the sticker will stick to a box. Matt is always rude and disrespectful. I have to agree with all of the negative comments to date. These are the most unfriendly /unhelpful people running a business i have ever dealt with. Was getting 2 documents notarized. Notary dude was particularly unfriendly and acted like i was imposing on his time. Fortunately he was a wuss and backed off when i growled at him. (His only saving grace). If the UPS company is truely monitoring feedback , they should hurry and close these guys down. They are killing your rep. read more

Third time wasting my time at this store. Mixed up shipping, mixed up billing, now no notary service on Saturday. ( the notary doesn't work Saturday). Save your gas and just go somewhere else. Absolutely horrible customer service. the owner started to assist me then walked away until the red haired assistant came over. I paid 10.00 for a box and asked him the put two pieces of tape on the end of the box. when I paid the bill I was charged 5.00 for two pieces of 10 inch long tape. I questioned the charge and he said you asked for tape. I said why didn't you tell me about the cost because I would have bought a roll which was on a sales shelf. Unbelievable that they charge 5.00 for two pieces of tape without telling you. Never again will I frequent this store. I'll go down the street and use the postal service or fed ex. UPS you should really investigate this store and its practices because its costing you business. I wish I could give zero stars. read more

I needed to return 2 items bought thru Amazon. Amazon provided one shipping label for the 2 items. When I brought to the UPS store, the employee was curt and said I needed to get another label for the second box. He then passed me off to a second employee who was also rude and offered no help. I had to figure out a solution myself (taping the boxes together) but they would not give me tape to do it. I went to Lowes, bought some tape and returned only to be ignored and then asked to "move over". These guys are awful. The worst customer service I've received in years. I'll never go back to that store again!!!! read more

Rude kids working here. My box needed to be taped and it was made out to be the end of the world. I offered to buy tape and tape it myself but they rolled their eyes and one said "just do it" all while taping the package of the guy ahead of me and while taping another ladies box next to me without question. I guess if I was wearing a tight skirt and had my tits out like her it wouldn't have been an issue. But forgive me, I have class and expect to be treated as a person. Horrible abusive people here, both the owner and the red headed guy named Matt. Had to ship out 4 document packets, he made so many mistakes spelling people's names and we had to ask him to fix it 4 times, he gave us attitude. We needed to stay and make sure that the documents were packed in the right boxes and the owner screamed at us in front of all the other customers and told us to leave. We said we have to stay and make sure these documents get packed, they have personal financial info it was to close a will. He shouted "fine but only 1 person." Before leaving I asked for an apology and calmy said that it was degrading the way he spoke to us. He cut me off and continued to be rude, only after threatening to write a bad review did we get a lame apology from the owner. We had to come back today and get some documents notarized. Matt whose nametag says "Matt, notary" said he can't Notarize for us and he refused to wait on us, boldface liar! Wish I could give 0 stars. read more

I had to ship an old 100 yr old clock the size of a 40 inch flatscreen to California. It was very delicate and had very thin glass on it. Abraham too the clock and recognized how nervous I was to ship it. To my surprise when it got here in Ca, they could have dropped it from the plane at 30,000 feet! Packed so well and so thoughful. He packed it like it was his own...I called him personally to thank him as it really meant a lot to me that someone really took the time and care to be sure something gets somewhere in one piece. Went there early morning on a Saturday to ship a computer monitor. The guy behind the counter wanted $45.00 to pack it. I was shocked. When I was leaving, he suddenly dropped the price to $40.00. Real professional. Went to Staples and they said they could pack it for $11.00. Don't go to this UPS Store. Seems Staples can do whatever this UPS STORE does and they are way cheaper. Staples told me they charge either $7.00 or $11.00 to pack something to ship. Will never go this UPS Store ever again. Its now Staples. read more

The workers I have dealt with in the past are rude and irresponsible. The fail to update my package's tracking information, so before I could pick it up, it was returned to the sender. And when I ask why I wasn't informed my package had arrived, they told me that was not their job. read more
