When she did wear one it was WAY too big and ill-fitting to the point of uselessness. When I spoke to the manager Chelsea on the phone, she told me that nothing could be done, no one could make them wear masks and non-masked people could not be separated from the public and then it was, "if you're that scared, then stay home." I had already explained I usually print postage online but had no option today. No concern that 150,000 Americans are dead and the post office lobby was full of seniors today. No concern for public or employee health. Just attitude.

I have taken many packages to this location over the past 8 or 10 years for packaging and shipping…read more They've never packaged anything while I waited - instead, they usually set the package on the back shelf and I assume they package it when they have a slow time. I've never had any problems with them until recently. I took two pairs of shoes to the store with return labels. I asked for two boxes to package the shoes in since the shoeboxes needed to be packed inside another box per the return/exchange instructions I was given. The girl at the counter said she has a special container for shoeboxes. I said "Ok, as long as they are packed inside another box and return in the same condition they are in now." I asked how much I owed for the packing materials and she said nothing. That seemed a little funny and I asked again, "What do I owe for the boxes?" She checked the prepaid return labels the shoe company had sent me to use and said "Nothing." It was obviously my mistake to believe her, but I did, and left. The shoes ended up being sent back to me from the shoe company because the UPS associate had simply taped my return labels directly to the boxes and shipped them that way. I took them back to the store and asked to speak with the manager. The young man at the counter was apologetic about the situation, took photos of the damaged boxes, made copies of the return slip from Shoebuy stating the return could not be processed, and said he would have the manager call me. I never received a call. I called the store three more times and requested to have a manager call me, and went in once. The time I went in, the floor was covered with damaged packages that the associate told me were waiting on their manager to approve/deny claims. The manager is Sheila Rohr and after two weeks of trying to reach her, she never returned my call. The girl working there told me that Sheila is almost never in except to sign paychecks on Fridays and does not return customer calls. When I filed a claim with UPS customer service, they reached out to the store and advised me that the store associate said she had told me twice that I should package them correctly or they would be returned. This is absolutely not true and I am very upset that the associated lied about the situation. I'm not exactly sure WHY she did not package the shoes as I had asked to begin with, but whatever the case may be, mistakes are made sometimes and the best thing is just to own up to them and be honest. The insurance would have covered the cost of the shoes (they were $57), I would have been satisfied with the resolution, and would have left a positive review and continued to use the store. However, lying is unethical and that is what has upset me the most about this situation. I am very upset about how the situation was handled and that the manager has still made herself unavailable to speak with me. UPDATE: 11/29/16. I did finally receive an email from the store about this issue. Basically, Sheila wrote that she was not going to play the "he said she said" game and if I would bring the shoes in to the store, she would write me a check for the cost of the merchandise and then sell the shoes herself on Ebay. There was no apology or apparent concern for the entire situation, but it in the end it was resolved. I took the shoes to the store and there was a check for the cost of the shoes. I am still pretty frustrated that it took almost a month and a half to get the issue resolved and that I had to spend time on the phone with customer relations and write letters to corporate before the issue was resolved. I did feel that I should update the review to show that the issue is resolved; however, I would not change my rating from one star.
