My phone and buzzer numbers are clearly written on every package, on address line 2 and additional info. I get no calls but UPS says "unable to deliver" or "recipient not available" and sticks a door tag outside my residence. 2 - The door tag says "available for pickup after 1300 next day." I brought the tag around 1800 the next day and was told it's not ready yet. So I have to come back the next next day. 3 - The package was addressed to my partner. I have ID with the same address, shipping tag, tracking number, and release code from shipper. According to UPS Canada online FAQs, this is acceptable. They refused me and wanted the ID of the recipient. As a franchise representing UPS, this location made up their own rules. Apart from wasting my time, the manager was exceptionally rude to me and walked away. Rarely have I experienced such poor and blatantly disrespectful service. Unfortunately, you cannot select which delivery service is used when placing an online order. However, you can register for UPS My Choice and select a different access point that packages will be shipped to, so you can avoid this location.
