    Worst UPS store ever

    If I can give 0 I'd give 0. Gave the Asian gentlemen the tracking number and the gentlemen went to the back to check for the package. The Asian lady who was on the phone since I stepped into the store got off her phone and told me to come back tomorrow cuz they are busy (I'm the only one in the store). I said I've been helped and the gentleman is looking for my package. She said with a straight face "I've been told by him to take care of this" while pointing at me. At no point did she talk to the gentlemen at all. I said again that the gentleman is looking for my package already. She literally said there is no way, cuz he is busy and he won't be looking for my package. This is my 2nd time in the store as the first time was a few years ago, when I asked for a piece of tape on the table to seal my box, the same lady said they don't have tape in the store. But if I want to use theirs, id have to pay 3 dollars. Horrible horrible non existent customer service. Don't ever come here. UPS should replace these customer service people ASAP

    Rude employee who refused to release my package and threatened to call the police.

    I had the worst experience at this store. I went to pick up on Nov 26, 2025 around 12:30 pm. The lady was there but not happy to see me. She said she is eating lunch. I waited a little and she came to the counter. I gave her the tracking number but it turned out it was for a previous shipment. I found another tracking number but she impatiently said- "track it online'". I said I don't know how to do tracking. She was very rude and kept saying that I must do the 'tracking'. I am a senior with chronic back pain so I don't want to have to come back. Plus, UPS is the worst courir They never deliver the package to my building. The only option is to pick up at a UPS location which unfortunately for me is this location. I went back 2 days later hoping there will be a different worker. First she served everyone who came after me. When I asked her, she refused to serve me or give me my package. Then she told me she would call the police because I was disrupting her clients. I will not go back to this store again ever and will just let them return my 2 packages. It was a Philippine woman in her 50s. I read other reviews and found out her name is Ann. Try to avoid this store at all costs!!! I called UPS to complain that this woman illegally withheld my package. They told me they will deliver to my building. I will never go back to this store!!!

    Great Experience at this store. The sales person will not try to upsell you stuff that you don't need. We came here to mail a package to Victoria. We do know it is cheaper to bring the package over there ourself but we just don't have the time. Lost insurance cost $4 for each $100 of the item value. The item we were shipping is about 2.5 lb so the total cost was about $140. The sales person explained everything very thoroughly to us. She said she will prepare and package the item for us. This was perfect. She said a tracking number will be emailed to us at the end of the day. The tracking number will come from an email that is not UPS but from itracker. We appreciated her telling us this. This way we won't accidentally delete the mail thinking it was scam. Best of all this store has 2 - 10 mins parking spot out front. We showed up at a perfect timing and there was no line up. When we left the store did get quite busy.

She initially quoted $256, but after I hesitated, she recalculated and offered a discounted price of $192 due to her employee discount. However, she didn't mention that taxes would be added, which brought the total to around $218. I then inquired whether FedEx or Purolator might offer a better rate. She told me that Purolator doesn't deliver to that country and that FedEx is unreliable, with a price likely similar to DHL's. Despite my reservations about the questionable service, I decided to proceed with DHL. Later, out of curiosity, I visited another DHL location 11 blocks west at 2900 Broadway, where they quoted me $120 for the same shipment. I was shocked by the significant price difference. I returned to the original store to request a refund, but the representative told me their policy does not allow returns. Even though my items were still on her desk (despite her efforts to hide them), she refused to return them, citing store policy. She also claimed to have sent me a tracking number, which was not true--I received the tracking number only about 20 minutes later. I am perplexed by the large discrepancy in pricing for the same service from the same company. I contacted DHL to address this issue, and this is the response I received: "Based on the response received from our retail management team, we would like to inform you that the cost structure for our services is established through confidential agreements with our retail partners and DHL. Unfortunately, we are unable to disclose specific details regarding this arrangement. The rates may vary between the DHL website, retail partner locations, and DHL-owned service centers. Rest assured, we have shared your feedback with our retail partner and have emphasized the importance of staff training and maintaining the highest level of professionalism to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future. Your concerns have been taken into consideration, and we will ensure that Skymart adheres to the necessary regulations. We deeply regret any inconvenience or frustration caused by this recent service lapse, and we are committed to learning from this experience to enhance the quality of our service in the future. As all your concerns have been addressed with the relevant departments, we will be closing the complaint at our end with no further follow-ups. Please consider this matter resolved from our perspective. Once again, I apologize for any delays or inconveniences you may have encountered during the handling of your shipment. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we appreciate your understanding. If you have any further questions or require any additional assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly. I was shocked by this response and will definitely avoid doing business with DHL or Skymart in the future. I might expect this kind of business practice in countries I associate with corruption, but not here in Canada.

The co wouldnt allow the police to open the storage locker- where many stolen items were housed. Thus they protect criminals willingly. Be careful as apparently that occurs frequently there
