I have not given the UPS store any Yelp love in the past, but they deserve some and as they say, better late than never. I primarily pop in to get notaries and I have used them for mailing as well. There are plenty of employees working and they offer excellent customer service. UPS stores are franchised so they run the gamut. This UPS Store In Carlsbad is the BEST! We sold our home and needed a temporary mailbox to receive our election ballot, bills, new furniture, and shipments! We were so surprised - this UPS Team emailed a notification when a package/delivery came into the store! They even called us to inform us that our ballot had arrived! This store is so honest and aware of a customers needs and handled our deliveries as if it was theirs. They knew our first name, mailbox number, and helped us load chairs and other shipping items! Have been coming here for years and always great customer service. They make returns easy and don't charge for tape.

I shipped a package to my son at a New York University. The package was expensive and I bought the insurance. Also I paid for the box and the ups store prepared the box for ground shipment. Upon arrival , we discovered that over $300 in shoes and clothes was missing. UPS store blamed me for improper packaging and the insurance would not issue and funds for the stolen items. This store is very dishonest. I I understand that theft happens. However, they accused me of causing it on the box that I paid for to ups store. They said they would tape it and I have pictures of the box. The manager flat out lied to avoid paying me for the stolen items which were fully insured. I would never trust the management of any package and will utilize Fedex next time. My credit card company investigated this issue and found this ups store violated my shipment and I received a full refund after 8 months of deliberations! read more

I've had a mailbox with this UPS Store for a few years and I used to go in maybe once every 3-4 months. Now I go in maybe once a month at best but every time, Jeff recognizes me and says hello. Love this store. Go here weekly to mail packages by UPS or parcel post. They have mailboxes and all kinds of shipping supplies. Plus they have the cutest ever greeting cards, and whenever I send a present I usually end up getting the card here. But rats, they close at 3.00 on Saturday. read more

The guys manning the store have always been great ! They're fast and always give excellent service and they were very courteous and helpful also. They have raised their POA service $5 more than what they use to charge. That's the only negative thing I can think of and that's must be a Management decision. I had a few large items to drop off which were being returned to Overstock.com (including an 8 x 10 rug). Cody knew exactly how to process the return of my 4 items and assisted me with affixing the return labels. It's the little things like this that really count and make a customer's experience easy and hassle-free. He also confirmed that I had the drop-off labels for these packages in case I needed to track them or follow up with the vendor. The owner is regularly on site and is super friendly. All the staff members are helpful and friendly, as well. They are full-service even though they're tucked into a pretty small space. I regularly drop off my Amazon returns with them and they make it really easy. For years, I had my business mailing address/post office with them and they were always very good about letting me know if there was a package or any issues with my mail. Even after I no longer had my mailbox there they went out of their way to make sure I got mail forwarded to my new address. read more

Do not try them for passport photos or shipping. After 2 attempts at unmasked photos, they were still very bright and subject to rejection. Then, they couldn't send the package because 'the computer was down'. Do yourself a favor and go to the pros at Postal Annex. read more
