The pick-up costs increased with every pick up with new service charges added each month and paying $175.00 per month for one bag of shredding pick-up is not longer possible for me. I contacted them on 12/11/25 to cancel my service as I was going to find another shredding option. After being on the phone for almost an hour and being transferred to two different people who wanted a description of why I was cancelling, I was told they would create a ticket and someone would be reaching out to me regarding my request. I was never contacted. I called them again on 1/9/26 as my account is still showing active. I was told that the last request wasn't entered by their office correctly and they would submit a new request to have my account cancelled. It is insanity that not only do they not provide an option to cancel on their website (the same website where I signed up and paid my monthly invoices) but you can't cancel by phone. My negative review is not for the pick-up drivers but stictly for my dissatisfaction with the Stericycle corporation and customer service.

Moreover, his packaging has survived global shipping because he is so careful and competent. Todays shipment was a 130 pound subwoofer. Protecting the dynamic driver required making an inner sleeve to exactly fit the curved contours. A hot glue gun was used to bind high density materials to the required dimensions. some of the employees who visit our office from iron mountain are consistently rude and…read moreunprofessional. they come by once a month, and each time they have an unpleasant attitude, acting like we're bothering them just by interacting with them. in our most recent visit, the employee complained and it was visibly irritated, claiming that we always have more paper than usual which is simply not true. some times its a different person, and he never complains. when we dispose the paper it naturally falls in a random way that might make it seem like theres more then usually is, but its a normal volume every time. their customer service need serious improvement

Beware, they may tell you they have had no rate increases, but that is because they have just created a slew of other new charges to their bill that were not there 12 months ago...... They have introduced a 'Transportation Zone" fee as well as a 'Fuel Surcharge' (along with the 'Paper Recycling' fee and the original 'Console Fee') If they just had better management perhaps they wouldn't need so many fees. As an example, the title company next door to us uses their services, but Iron Mountain doesn't pick both at the same time. They will drive the 1/2 hour trip on 2 separate occasions: one to pick up the neighbors 50' away and then come back a day or so later to pick mine up. If you just look at their website you'll find a confusing mess... the MO transcends the entire organization. Crappy company run by crappy managers. Do yourself a favor like I did: go spend $500 on a good shredder and save your time (and money).
