The bad- I used to take all of my Amazon returns to this location. They often had a line out the door with the majority of customers processing Amazon returns. After they began forcing everyone to use the kiosk, I had an issue when I scanned the QR code the screen told me to see an associate. I got back in line and when I got to the counter she 'scolded' me and told me I should have used the kiosk. I let her know it said to see a worker and she huffed at me and shook her head. The next time I took a return in, they were demanding that everyone use the kiosk. Each person they waited on got the same speech- did you try the kiosk?! I definitely got it, they do NOT want Amazon returns at this location. I take all of my returns to Kohl's when given the option. The good- my daughter had an Amazon return last week. She was not given Kohl's as an option and her only choices were the Amazon store in Clifton or the ups store. She's had the same experiences with returns at this location and was leery about getting yelled at, but we decided it was closer. There was no one in line but we went to the kiosk and it worked! The person at the counter actually thanked us for using the kiosk. Basically, I believe this store is lacking in customer service. So many people have issues with technology and don't know how to proceed only to be scolded once they're there. I agree with another post that they should put up a sign stating 'No Amazon Returns' if they're going to continue treating customers this way. I've worked in customer service for 2 decades and was always told it takes 10 positive comments to make up for 1 negative. read more

I called today about Notary services. At 8:30 am I called to asked about availability. They told me it was available until 3:30. Asked if I needed to make an appointment. They said no. I walked in at 2:30 pm ( as I said I would) with a need for a notary and shipping of a very important document. I was greeted with "Oh sorry! She left ". A cross town journey entailed on to be turned down again and again. In the pouring rain no less. Finally found a notary. BTW, MY BANKS PNC AND 5/3 refused. But they had good reason and really helped me. Long story short, UPS SUCKS AND LIES!! They need to take appointments and call people with unavoidable cancellations. If truly unavoidable. I am a notary. Not that hard if you can add 2 digits. If you require services at the Glenway UPS, call 5 minutes before you get there. Or you may be screwed. read more

Generally speaking I have had a good experience at the Glenway UPS, they are often busy and try to get people through quickly. Today was a different story. The clerk refused to process my amazon returns pointing to the kiosk and instructing me to use that instead. I know that its there and when they are busy have utilized it. There was one other person in the store. If you are not going to process amazon returns get a sign that says we DO NOT process amazon returns and that you must use the kiosk. I had a clerk process one literally 2 days before this. If I wanted to package, tape and label my returns I would have selected that option. You provide a service and part of that service if helping customers. I am not generally the type of person to leave a review, but the absolute audacity the clerk had to talk about me IN FRONT OF ME stating she was going to get a bad review... got you a bad review. Be a normal person and talk crap about someone when they leave. read more

Shipped package on 6/18 at a cost of over $230. Did not arrive on time and had to be re-routed back to store. Filed claim for refund and store manager keeps giving the run-around. No claim number, no time frame to expect refund, just "hopefully, sooner or later", and "I don't want to loose my job". UPS will not provide information without a claim number and the store manager will not provide one. So complete failure all around - failure to deliver package, failure to provide any customer service at all, failure to process a refund request, and failure to communicate. read more

This UPS store location has a manager by the name of Christa AKA Chrissy that is absolutely unprofessional and rude. I've had several encounters with this person in the past. And her mannerisms have remained the same each visit. Christa does not want to help customers that come into the UPS store. She is not good representation for UPS company or UPS core values. Christa did not acknowledge or greet me while waiting for her to look up at me when I walked in the store. I did not feel like she wanted to assist me. Christa refused to assist me at the desk and forced me to use the self service kiosk. I did advise her in the past that I had a previous issue with the kiosk and preferred to be assisted at the desk with an agent. I was the only person in line. She stated that it is a new company rule when doing Amazon returns, you will have to use the self service kiosk. To clarify, I did ask her is this a company rule or her rule? She advised that it is a company rule. When I asked her for her name. She gave me her name and a customer service number to call in a very rude manner. She also advised that phones could not be used in the store. Which was very contradicting because the QR code is sent to my phone in order to complete a return transaction. Being that I was forced to use the self service kiosk, my phone was needed. I had to contact another UPS store to get the correct phone number to report this incident. And to make sure the owner was aware of this particular treatment from Christa. After reporting this incident, it was determined by the owner that that was a lie. Self service kiosk use can be encouraged to be used, but not forced. I use this UPS store often because it is near my home. In the future, I would like to see a new manager at this store location. I have not had issues with anyone else at this location, but the current manager Christa. read more

Yesterday, October 22, 2024, I went to the Glenway Avenue store. I was unaware that Bon Qui Qui was employed there. The little girl had her lollipop in her mouth. I was asked if there was a problem with the Kioask when I walked up to the counter. Very unprofessional. This Ups store could use some customer service skills. While waiting for a customer, remind your staff that it is not acceptable to suck on a lollipops. Do Better Ups, Do Better. read more

December 2024: Western Hills UPS on Glenway is trash. Far beyond the filthy and smelly store, the red haired lady that operates the franchise is rude, grossly unhelpful, condescending, with a moral superiority complex. She, in particular, is obnoxious to deal with. Despite having a few solid (past) employees, the store is ran like a poorly operated mall kiosk desk. She has the gaul and uncouthness to put up sign insisting that NON UPS shipping customers must use the automated scan device to return packages such as Amazon, etc. To top it off, the red headed lady hangs a large sign at the desk demanding no customer dare become irritated by the poor lack of decent service, nor comment to the one employee on staff that anything is wrong or there dare be any room for improvement. Otherwise you are a jerk and don't love them. Some shade of liberal bs. UPS needs to revoke the franchise rights for said location. read more

I have always had great service at this store. Sometimes you can tell they are a little stressed and it may show in their communications but they always help me and the customers. Today was no exception, great service and friendly. The only suggestion I would make is that they not talk about customers where anyone in the store can hear them. I've been in customer service for over 35 years so I get the frustration. But we the customers don't want to hear you guys talking about us when we've left. Just wait until you're in private, or out back for your smoke break. It make us wonder what is being said about us when we leave. This happens here and other places like grocery stores etc. Just keep doing the good work and I'm so glad you guys have been able to hire more people. read more

I had an item under warranty that needed to be returned to the manufacturer. UPS was the carrier chosen by the manufacturer for returning of the item. Upon opening the shipping label on my device, it disappeared. I was unable to print the label from home. The ladies at the UPS Store were able to print a shipping label by scanning a barcode from my phone. They were working quickly and efficiently. A small offering of Post Office boxes are available. Not sure about the rates. Parking lot can be difficult to get out of. read more

Words of advice. Avoid Western Hill Store. Rude and unprofessional. It's possible they are understaffed and over worked. But other UPS stores are far more pleasant when it comes to customer service. Western Hills feels cluttered, chaotic, and you can feel the tension in the air from the customers and the workers. Newport feels calm, relaxing, and even puts a pleasant smile on your face when you leave. Special shoutout to Newport for above and beyond in excellent "customer service". Western Hills: made to stand in line for 40 mins, red haired lady helped one customer then left blonde lady alone as the only worker to help customers, blonde lady continually and aggressively shouting the kiosk is open, blonde lady calling out requests to the line of people out the door on what order she wants to take next and thus people are skipping in line to go to customer counter, ask blonde lady why she is allowing people to skip in line she tells people there is a kiosk right there, then you get helped on because you had to speak up about "being next in line" with needing customer service the blonde lady tells you it isn't in the right box and you need to purchase one of their boxes for $12 despite having a QR code and following every instruction online that no box needed. Western Hills kiosk resembles what you expect to see when you look in a dumpster and see a giant pile of garbage stacked up. I proceed to leave Western Hills and drive straight to Newport, do not change anything about my packaging. Arrive at Newport store. Short line of about 4 customers, 3 employees at customer desk helping customers, one gentleman on the phone handling a complaint, and one gentleman in the back organizing packages neatly. 10 minute wait. Gentleman on the phone ends phone call and comes out into the customer line and asks me as the next person in line if he could help me use the kiosk. He proceeds to show me step by step how to use the kiosk and answer all the questions that pop up as I am going through the process. The gentleman even goes a step beyond and offer me additional information like I don't need a box as long as I have the QR code for the return. The gentleman then offers to carry my package around back for shipping so they are not sitting exposed out in the lobby with the customers in line. Night and day difference between these two stores that conduct exact same business alongside extreme heavy workload. read more

So, this review has very little to do with the employees here. Cara has always been extremely helpful, and the young man (I've only seen him once or twice, and didn't catch his name) was just as pleasant. But every single time I visit, the line extends out into the parking lot. I think it's about time to hire some help. There's no concerted effort. If you're the owner, and you're reading this, you should seriously consider doing some research on how to operate your business. Sure, you're out to save a few bucks, but this? To whom it may concern,   On Wednesday March 8th, 2023 my husband and I came it to the UPS store #4052 located at 6457 Glenway Ave Cincinnati Ohio 45211 at approximately 2:30pm to drop of our Xbox Series X to be delivered to the Microsoft Return Center in El Paso Texas. When we dropped off our package the woman working did not have a name tag and was rude and dismissive. She scanned our order number and we emailed the package label to the store. She printed the label and did not wrap or box our item. We offered to purchase the necessary materials to safely package the item. She stated that was not necessary and she would wrap it herself. She printed the tracking label and gave is the receipt. She set the xbox unwrapped on the counter with the label on top and dismissed us. We left the store and inquired about our package on Monday March 20,2023 as we had not received an email or update shipping status. There was no notification our package had been sent and our tracking number did not work when we attempted to call the store several times. We came into the location on Wednesday March 22,2023 but did not have the receipt with us. We were told they could not check the status and the same woman who again did not have a name tag gave me the number to corporate customer service and dismissed me again.  I called UPS customer support and they too could not find the package and the tracking number was in the system but had not been shipped. We found the receipt and came back to the store on 4/5/2023. This time we spoke with a new manager and she checked the receipt we were given on 3/8/23. While I waited in line I watch both the manger and employee scan, pack, seal and label every package before taking a new customer. My package was not treated in the same fashion. The manger told me this item had been delivered but in fact the label we were given was a different item going to a different location that had been dropped off before we had dropped off our item. She took copies of all of our papers and took my information stating someone would contact me on Monday 4/10/23. No such call accured. We went back into the store and spoke with the same manager who again took our number and said she would contact me later that week. She also informed us that multiple employees had been fired for unprofessional behavior including suspected theft. She stated my package had most likely been stolen and asked if I had purchased the package insurance. I told her we were not offered any such insurance. She stated that most I would receive was $100. My package is valued at $500. I was outraged. She told me she would again contact me. No contact ever happened. We contacted UPS corporate customer service several times they informed us that we would have to go through Microsoft's customer service because they could on conduct their own investigation on their lost product. UPS also stated they had no authority to conduct an investigation on Microsoft products. We contacted Microsoft's customer support. They stated they had no such policy but would conduct an investigation. After many weeks of their investigation they stated they could not help us because our Xbox label had never been entered into UPS's system as dropped off.   We believe the woman who orginally taken our package had never entered it in the system and set it aside where someone in the store stole our package. We have been trying since March of 2023 to get someone to help us with our lost package. read more

Worst UPS store I have ever encountered! They don't answer their phones about 80% of the time. They don't know how to forward mail. I requested that they forward mail to my home, and they placed the mail in a UPS envelope and set it back to their own office. I contacted their office about 11 times, seven messages on the answering machine, and three telephone calls, plus one personal visit. Four times they said they would refund my money for being stupid and mailing my mail to their own office. They never refunded the money. The seven messages I left they never called back. Great location, right next door to a Chipotle. (must...resist..) The parking lot is a little cramped and is almost always busy (due to Chipotle) so drive carefully and possibly park in the back and walk to the front of the store. The workers are pretty cool and laid back. They were able to answer all my shipping questions without a problem. There is a copier in the store, not sure on cost per copy. If you have already shipped something with them in the past, they can look up your info and you will not have to write it on the shipping form. P.S. I highly recommend you enroll in UPS' My UPS program. There are email notifications and other cool things that you can do with it. The process is a little cumbersome, but it's worth it. Also look for something called UPS My Choice. Best part: Give authorization online for UPS to deliver packages without a signature for drop-off when you're not going to be home to sign in person read more

BEWARE PACKAGES NOT GUARANTEED BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH UPS "CORPORATE": Dropped off a package and they did not put it on the truck. UPS "corporate" says they will not uphold the refund because they do not have a record of the package (or initial scan). So, because this store was incompetent I am out almost a $100 for Next Day Air. What is baffling is that you drop a package off to a "UPS Store" and there is no guarantees on shipments because if it is lost or misplaced at the store they will blame it on the drivers and the drivers will blame it on the store with the customer getting assed out. No one will read this but it has happened twice now and I am out $200. The photos tells the story...dropped off package on 10/8/2019 and it didn't get delivered til 10/11/2019 but there is no initial scan at the store saying I dropped it off but as you can see I have the label. read more

Worst service ever. Don t waste your money. Sent a package on the 29 of Dec and was told it would arrive the following monday. Never showed up until the following friday. Carrie, who took my package initially said she would have Tiffany (the manager) call me and refund my money. I have since called 4 times and have never gotten a return call from the manager. I strongly suggest not using this location. The Dalton street location is still the best. Whoever owns this store better get it together! read more

They claim on their website to have Notary Services available. When I arrived, they claim they do not have that. I guess they were too busy eating their lunch to provide any type of customer service. They need to stop the false advertising and remove that service off their website. That way people do not have their time wasted!!! read more
