l decided to stop by the Staples UPS store , it was on my way to the island . What an awful experience , they are just focus on monetizing. My item was in its original box . An employee told me l needed a shipping box , specifically, the ones they sell. One more thing , they don't print shipping labels , l was told . But l bet if l buy the box they would !!! What a waste of time ! after waiting for my turn in line for a long time !! there were 3 women but only one receiving the packages , meanwhile the other 2 , kind of using their precious time doing something else !! l would never go to that store !!! The ladies that work here and very knowledgeable and so nice. I've only used them to send Amazon returns, but have never had a problem. If I had to say anything negative it would be that parking is horrible. The ladies are so nice. They make up for the horrible parking though. Never offering nor suggesting that I could take care of all that right there. There's not a whole lot I can say that won't eventually sound sloppily gracious. The service was uber-friendly, ultra-efficient .... in and out the door in less than a couple of minutes. Mind you, there was one other customer in the store but they received the same level of top-notch service I did. They're not the easiest to access, based on location. TINY parking area that's pretty much overtaken by Starbucks customers, but I can't fault them too much for it. read more

No wonder they have the worst reviews of all UPS Stores in all of Corpus. Horrible customer service. They tried to charge me $2.00 for a single strip of tape no longer than 8". I mean who does that? I get it if I bring in a new box or something but returning an amazon box that needs a single strip is ridiculous. You're a box store, that's like a restaurant charging for water or toothpicks, it's part of your business. Either the manager needs to work with his employees (bad employees) or they need to rework their cost of goods to include the occasional tape to help a customer out, either way bad management. The woman working the counter is on automatic. No personality at all. I shipped a small package [flat plastic mailer, less than 6X6] that had practically no weight to it to my sister in Houston and was charged $12 ground. I'm calling corporate to find out if this is the proper charge since I could have mailed it for Priority at the Post Office for like $5. Never in my life have a shipped so little for so much. The chick at the register doesn't set price [God, I hope she doesn't] but she has no customer service skills at all. I called UPS to complain. In essence, the stores set their own prices. This means that this store is pretty much tripling the cost of shipping. I provided my own package; the only thing required was a label and to be tossed in the bin for pick up by UPS later that day. Stay away from this location if you need to ship something. You are better off going to the Post Office. Profit is not a dirty word; greed, however, is. read more

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. This is the second time I've been to this store and the second time I've hated being in there. The atmosphere is terrible. The employees have been extremely unpleasant. It cost me 5 dollars for some email charge (never used my email) and 39 cents print charge. So basically it cost $5 to use the computer for literally 30seconds! It cost $5 for shipping label and $10 for shipping. It ended up being $21!! The box I shipped was incredibly small and light... but back to the employees. I literally hated life when I had to communicate with them. They have no joy being in there. It's the worst. The worst customer service I've ever experienced. I had a few amazon returns to drop off and I knew I was going to be close to their closing time. I got to the door 4 minutes before they were supposed to close and the door was locked. There were customers inside who just looked at me and then the lady behind the counter who waved me away and said they were closed. When I tried to protest the time she ignored me. If you're only open until 2:56pm on Saturday's then post it. If not, then don't lock up early. read more

ok, i had to ship a glass vase and decided to stop into this location instead of the regular spot up at SPID and crosstown area. walked in, no smile, no hello, just can i help you. ok, i need to ship this to canada - i've done this a few times - gave her the shipping info, ok it's $69 plus, packaging, etc.....hmmm - are you sure? yes it'll be there in 3 days.....really......is that by ground i asked? yep......she replied. well i've done the drive and it's 3 days straight to the border. decided to go to my other ups location. great service - $29 to ship it and it will take 9 days. they filled me in that ups stores are franchises.....i feel bad for the owner of that store. read more

Only posting one star so I can leave a review. So last night I was trying to ship an AT&it package out of the local UPS hub. They informed me that it had to go through a UPS store. I had already been to this location on Saturday but they closed at 3:30 & not 4:00 like it said online. So after leaving the hub location I call the store a dozen times to get their hours as online said 7:00 but I wanted to make sure that wasn't an error. So I keep getting voicemail. I'm driving as fast as legally possible to get here and find a spot in front of the store. They do in fact close at 7PM and the time is 6:40. I decide to sit in the truck and continue calling several more times only to see one of the 3 morbidly obese women working looking at the phone & then turning around to chat more with her coworkers. So yea, I finally go in to the store and unfortunately don't have the account number I need to what I needed to do. Something I told them could have saved me a trip had they answered the phone but they were obviously too busy gossiping about the latest in high cholesterol foods that they are going to consume tonight. Came back today and saw them dodging phone calls again for nothing other than pure laziness. Got my package shipped and I'm out. This location sucks & I advise anyone and everyone to avoid it at all costs. read more

Do yourself a favor and never go here. Worst customer service and an unapologetic owner who blames the customer for mistakes. The store owner had 2.5 months to make the situation right, and continued to drop the ball and blame UPS corporate and me for her mistakes. Here's what happened. I shipped several dishware items to my mother in Georgia. Two of those pieces arrived broken. My mother took photos. I sent those photos to UPS corporate as a part of the claim. The value was $80. I was told since the value being claimed was much less than the $200 insurance I paid for - no receipt was required. The reimbursement payment would go through the UPS store where I shipped the items. Two weeks go by and I call the UPS store. They tell me the check hasn't arrived. Another two weeks ago by. I check back. The store tells me there is no claim and it has to be filed through the store. I file a claim with the store and go over those same details. I'm told no receipt is needed and corporate claims will contact me to verify the information. A few days later, I receive a call from UPS corporate claims to verify the amount. I'm told the claim was filed for $200 and receipts and documentation are needed. I explain that the value is only $80. We get it corrected, and I'm told since the value is only $80- no receipt is needed. Corporate will now contact the store owner to get the paperwork corrected and I will be called when the check is ready. Two week go by- I call the store. No check. Another three weeks go by- I stop by the store. The owner tells me the case has been closed by UPS because it was filed for $200 and they never got a receipt for me. I calmly explain the situation. Then she tells me the whole issue is because she thought the value was for $200 and I should have sent a receipt. Never once did she apologize or offer to make it right. This is the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Avoid this business. It's not worth your money or time. read more

Horrible if I could give a 0 rating I would, I watched the ups girl literally drive by, while still moving she tossed my package out on my dirt driveway and kept on going. My husband also had packages that needed to be picked up and they were left there on my front porch. Called to complain and the manager said she had put on her notes that it she delivered my package on my porch. Then my husband called and said he got an email, that sorry his packages couldn't be picked up. SMH, yeah I can't pick up packages while my truck is on drive either. read more

I waited forever only to get to the front of the line and be told that my box would cost $30 to ship and not be guaranteed to get there for Christmas, 10 days away. What is this, the pony express? To get there for Christmas it would cost $75. This was not a big box! When I said, "really? That's a lot" she immediately started waiting on the next person over my shoulder, no goodbye or anything. They were also charging $29.99 for a roll of bubble wrap and $18.99 for bag of packing peanuts (I didn't need any but had plenty of time to browse while waiting). The prices are outrageous and people are rude. I left and went to the post office. Cheaper and my package is scheduled to arrive within the week. read more

Went by to drop of packages. Clerk greeted with a monotone welcome as if she was extremely busy. Only one person there. Attitude seemed stressed. I blew it off to possible difficult customer or just Monday morning. Neither should generate this attitude as acceptable but .... it's Corpus Christi employee normal. While putting together packages the UPS clerk was helping someone with a fax her attitude toward the patron was short and disconnected as if he was bugging her. was inserting labels onto packages. I asked for label sleeves and she was not nice about it. I asked to use a pen because there were none on counter, I had to wait until her fax issue was done which was fine but I felt as she stood with her back to us watching fax ring and send she might reach over and hand the pen to me. No so that's ok. As she printing her sarcastic voice and demeanor worsened enough that next customer that cane in smirked and shook his head. I said to her as a customer "I think you should be nice" she said she was nice . I asked her you don't recognize your voice and attitude. Delivery is not nice . She said she can't change her voice and how she was acting. I said I would see if someone could assist her with that. UPS Store please get your staff here some PR/ customer service training .
