Many moons ago I would try and use this place as a FedEx drop off for my RMA packages but the lady was so unhelpful we stopped going. Since finding the UPS store we don't need to go back. However two weeks ago this place was just so convenient to my errands that I dropped off a FedEx with prepaid label, all ready to go, I sensed that she recognized this as another opportunity lost, she wasn't going to make any money on me today. So rather than treat me nice so I might come back and spend money, she did what all bad business owners do, she let on that she was annoyed. No bother, it takes more than that to piss me off. I even asked her why she was selling ( big sign in window ) she said she could't get "good help" My parting thought, not vocalized, was that she must be a terror to work for. Well today I went back with another prepaid FedEx, just to wind her up a bit. This one needed tape to affix the prepaid label. In broken english she told to buy a roll of tape or basically get lost. I asked if that meant she was unable to use the tape gun sitting a few feet from my box and she said "yes" . So sad, she will soon be included in long list of failed small businesses, "woe is me, bad economy, can't find help", all the while CLUELESS to how to really serve your clientele. Here's a little tip lady, if you hate your customers, you're going to fail pure and simple, only a matter of time.

But perhaps the very best thing of all was the private parking lot. Parking downtown always makes me grumble, even in the jewelry district. I as a 1st time customer am IMPRESSED. 1/2 he b4 closing he cut the box outside the boxes gift in half, taped it all up, slapped on the new label & had it ready for the FedEx pick up that was already late. Lucky Me! Relieved the FedEx chargers were $25ish BUT what struck me was when I checked the receipt he only charged me $2- for re-packaging (effort) Wowza try that at the post office. Best part is he did it all with a smile. Polite, professional and knowledgeable. That guy needs a raise. This place is gonna be a frequent stop for me. All the hours I've wasted trying to find boxes, wrapping in brown paper like a former postal worker would do, & a whole lot of tape when all I have to do now is bring it to Parcel & Post Plus. I don't have a need to ship a package very often, but when I do, this is the UPS location I have…read moreused over the past several years. Our last visit we needed to return the previous owners license plate from a vehicle we recently purchased in another state. The original owner let us use their plate until we had it register here in RI. As soon as we had the vehicle registered, we stopped by UPS and sent the plate on it's way back home. The gentleman assisting us was polite and enthusiastic. We let him know what was needed, he quickly began the process of creating a label for the package and let us know when the package should arrive, barring any unforeseen circumstances. There was some information on the label that needed to be changed (name spelling), which was quickly accomplished. I wanted to be sure the spelling was correct as the package was being picked up at another UPS store, not delivered to a business or home. We paid a reasonable amount, had the tracking number in hand and were out of the building in just minutes. The package did arrive in the time expected. The owner let me know they had returned the plate to their DMV and that was that. Quick and efficient. Just what you want in a delivery service.
