I shipped $1200 electroic part and insured it. The receipt they gave was a thermal copy of the receipt with the tracking number. 2 days latter the tracking was totally faded on the receipt. I called for them to give me the tracking number for the shipement and they are no longer able tyo supply that. a papaer receipt or a email would have been a better solution. I the package is lost ther is no way to cover the insurance. Bad customer service read more

I have used this UPS location in Crestwood, Missouri since it was "The Mail Box Store" going back to year 1995 !!! For many years my job was all about traveling. Every few weeks I returned to Crestwood to collect mail + boxes from this location. Therefore, I have had some 30+ years doing business with this location + I would rate them 98% to 100%. The 2% less is only cuz we all make mistakes every-now and then. Additionally, the house I live in nearby does not have a mailbox at the end of the driveway...just a narrow slot in the garage door, forcing packages to be left outside on driveway or at front door stoop.. in rain or snow no less. Therefore, I rate this UPS Store location 1000% positive. PS: there was a short period when store was under different management for a year or so.... that's when some of the bad reviews occurred..... that rough patch is over with now that there is new owners/managers. read more

This location is always helpful and friendly! I drive out of my way to come to this location because of the customer service! I use UPS about 6-10 times a year. I have been treated less than friendly at the UPS store by my house (Grasso location) and will always make the drive to this location in Crestwood. read more

I went into the store this morning just after they opened, needing to send a package to New York by Saturday, December 2nd. I was given two options; 1. a $63 delivery that might get to the destination on Saturday, 2nd; or 2. a $111.00 delivery that would definitely get there Friday, December 1st. I picked the latter. It turns out the Tracking # doesn't exist. I contacted UPS Customer Service, and they were unable to trace any package going to out of this location to New York. I was told to return to the store tomorrow to try and locate the item. There's nothing like wasting other people's time when you've screwed up is there? read more

My experience here was quick and easy. I dropped off my book rental return in the original packaging after the fall semester was over and it was a breeze. The place was fairly busy when I arrived with only 1 personnel working. I was surprised as it was still during the holidays when I came in. He directed everyone who only had drop off without requiring receipts to the left while he continued to serve the other clients. Fortunately, mine was just a drop off and I did not need any receipt or immediate confirmation. For being the sole personnel though, he was trying to get things moving as quickly as he could and was friendly the entire time. Perhaps this store would consider more staff? They seem to do a decent amount of business. There's ample parking outside and the store was clean and organized on the inside as far as the shipping materials are, etc. The only issue I could see is the lack of staff which could become frustrating for certain customers. read more

I've been visiting this store for about 7 years. I use to dread taking my returns there or any shipping needs because staff was not always friendly and the lines would back up. With the new ownership, this store has completely turned around. They are efficient, kind, helpful, and the store is easily accessible right off Watson. Highly recommend this one over any others I've visited. read more

What a joke this place is. I only used this place cause it was close to work. And yes, I should have read the reviews. Not only do they not care about shipping anything, but they also LIE about it. I dropped off a package on the 16th of August 2022. It's now the 24th of August. No one seems to know where the package is. Since this location doesn't seem to be able to answer the phone (I called 20 times in two days), my GF stopped in yesterday and inquired about my package, the counter clown said it was delivered yesterday (the 23rd). However, the business that was supposed to receive it, hasn't seen it. And when I run the tracking number, the ups computers says it never left the store. I am so fed up with this business that I will NEVER go there to ship anything. I don't even want to go there and talk with the counter clowns in person, idiots are bringing the world down. read more

I wanted to shrink an image on a document so that it would fit on standard paper. When I asked if this was possible I was met with a blank stare. A seated worker from the back room called out "What do they want?" When the first worker did not respond I said, "I wanted an image reduced on the photocopier." The seated worker approached and got up and said "FedEx down the street can do that." I said, "You can't shrink a document?" He said again "FedEx down the street can do that." as they both gave blank stares as if I was from Mars. I felt like I was being sent away and for some mysterious reason they did want to perform this task. I left and will never return there. read more

I stopped by this UPS store in the midst of some errands. It was no different than any other UPS store I've been to--quick and easy! I sent out a small package and it only cost around $9. They said it should arrive within 24 hours. Woot! I used my own box but I know they could have packaged it for me. I literally was in and out in under 5 minutes. It doesn't get much better than that. Went into this UPS Store to ship a bunch of random crap (and said that to the owner who was helping me) and told her I wanted it to go the cheapest way possible. So she goes about her business and I'm noticing that she is shipping 4 lamp bases in two different containers (they are metal and wood -- so i was thinking it was weird that they needed to be in two different containers) and then she packed one picture in a separate box -- when were there a bunch of other things roughly the same size. But again -- i think she knows what she is doing.... then I get the total $284.07 !!! HOLY CRAP !! At this point I'm flabbergasted but I've already hauled in all this crap and told her I didn't need additional insurance on it and am really so shocked I just hand over my debit card .... On the way back to my office -- I call a friend who's parents own a UPS store in another state and they confirm my suspicions that I kinda got taken to the cleaners !! So me being a chicken -- have my friend call them to address the situation. This woman says to her that there was no way she could have packed them in fewer boxes -- which is not true -- if nothing else the 4 lamp bases could have gone in one box ... and that picture could have gone in a box with a dartboard and a couple other random things. She clearly is soooo afraid of getting stuck with the damages if something were to break that she goes too far the other direction. And all this after I told her this stuff was not worth that much and was just random crap !!! The only option she gave us was to come get all my crap -- which at this point is not worth it but ... be warned ... go to another UPS store unless you are looking to pay a premium or are shipping the crown jewels. I could have purchased all new lamps, lampshades, pictures and dartboard for the money she charged me to ship them !! and don't hold this against all UPS stores .... i have had lots of other good experiences at other locations. read more

Horrible service. I called this UPS store two times because needed something notorized. They told me to come between 2 and 6 and the notary will be there. Guess what? When I arrived the lady at the counter said the the notary wasn't in all day. Bait and switch. Nothing to see here. Go to another more reputable store. read more

The actual shipping service was very good. However. the clerk wore his mask over his mouth. His nostrils weren't covered. When I asked if he would cover both, he apologized and moved the mask up. It descended immediately. The situation was unchanged. read more

I have had a post office box at this location for many years. The current staff - Sydnee and Jamie are outstanding. I have never had any problems with shipping or the cost of shipping. I used this facility to ship my son's Christmas package to him on 12/18/2018. Apparently, regular customer protocol was not followed during the process--I was not told that the package would only be insured for $100 unless I purchased additional insurance and the package was NOT SHIPPED to the address that was printed neatly on the package. As a result, my son received NO CHRISTMAS presents from home. The package was never found! I spent countless hours on the UPS website, with customer service on the phone, filing a claim, visiting the facility more than 4 times. The atmosphere of the facility has been chaotic and non-helpful. It has now been nearly two months and the reimbursement check that I was promised for $100 and my shipping cost (for my $357.37 value package) has STILL NOT BEEN RECEIVED. Customer service at this facility is severely lacking and I will never initiate shipping a package with UPS ever again. read more

Always fast friendly service for shipping of packages. They have many other services but we haven't used those. You can buy stamps and send usps also however you cannot ship priority mail using the flat rate boxes and use the flat rate price. For parcels, packages and packaging of packages it meets all of our needs. read more

Hi, this summer, the Crestwood UPS store helped me mail a passport to Boston. I needed it there within 24 hours. Things got pretty mixed up in Boston. Technically, I don't think Crestwood had to do anything to help me as they had done their job. That being said, Jamie and Sydney (from the Crestwood store) went well above and beyond in tracking the passport and a refund. They were exceptionally kind, efficient, and professional. My husband and I went into this absolutely rude unfriendly and overpriced ups store today and do not recommend any other person to patronize this location. My husband who just happens to work for the actual ups had simply asked for the normal 15% discount that they have given to him many times as a ups employee and she treated us absolutely horribly. One of her rude comments that sticks with me was" you can't just come into my store and demand a discount! "Her rudeness went on from there and we left and went to another location down the street that treated us with respect and charged us a quarter of what they were trying to charge. I don't think I have ever been treated that horribly in my life. The managers name was Katie and she was the owners daughter. Do yourself a favor and don't ever patronize this location. read more

BUYER BEWARE! I used to use this UPS store all the time because it's right by my house but I have been here twice this week to ship a few golf clubs as I clear out my collection for the upcoming season. First time I walked out without shipping anything because they quoted me 3 times the normal price for shipping a golf club even though the golf club was only going to Tennessee(I have shipped many over the years and this was by FAR the highest I have every been quoted). I asked if the dimensions were entered correctly and the blonde male cashier rolled his eyes, let out a sigh while he double checked. Price was correct per their system so I left and went down the street to FedEx(less than a mile west on Watson) and got both clubs I needed shipped for less than what this UPS wanted for 1. Figured it may have been a fluke since I have used them before without issue so I went back today to ship a shaft that should have cost no more than $12 to ship(42 inch 1.5 inch tube weighing less than 2 pounds) and ended up paying more than $20. This place has decided to up their prices for whatever reason(free market right) but if you are like me and don't want to pay more for same service I suggest the FedEx down the road. read more

Last week I came into the UPS Store to ship a birthday gift to my girlfriend in Chicago. After finding out that the location I was shipping from was licensed to ship wine, I popped over to the Friar Tuck's next door and picked up a bottle of the wine we used to drink as broke college students, and a nicer bottle of cab. The people at the UPS Store told me they had special boxes for packaging the wine, so I handed everything over to them and they took care of the rest. It's a convenient place to pop in, and the people are friendly. read more

I would give no stars if that were an option. I just got off the phone with the owner of this crappy store. She is such a "blank". I called because I found out that my package was not delivered, a month after I had it sent from that store. At first she stated that it was not sent back to her store, then when she asked me the address, then she admitted she had my package. Silly me I should have never had it sent from this store. They could not get a signiture, so UPS sent it back to this store where it sat all this time. The lady claims she called me, but I have an answering machine, and no message was left. Then she has the nerve to tell me if i want it sent again, I have to pay for it!! What poor service, what A BIG RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
