This is not about this particular ups store but about UPS delivery in general. I brought an envelope on Aug 3 to the Fairfield store to be delivered by truck to Maine. It was to be overnight. Never arrived. UPS tracking doesn't have any knowledge of where it is. The tracking ended with the information that it was out for delivery. It has disappeared. No one knows anything about it.You will have a hard time getting a real person on the line. Do NOT send anything by UPS. Use something else. It's a joke. You will be taking your chances with these delivery people. Probably got tossed out because the driver was tired that day and didn't want to do anymore stops. this is what you get in this country today. Third world service. read more

Quick printing service! I appreciated such a quick turn around because I sent a few pages to print an hour before. The customer service was not good honestly. The team behind the desk was rude to me and the other people who walked in while I was waiting. Each transaction someone was quoting now much the transaction costs them vs. the charge for the customer... respectfully, it was a lot. I've never really experienced that LOL. I have shipped from this location a few times. Each visit I arrived prior to opening, yet the staff did not show up until 25 minutes later. The staff was friendly, and apologized for opening late. While I understand the staff response... it is not good business to open late. Using UPS for any future shipping will be my absolute last choice. I shipped 3 boxes from this store paid $60.00 a box. My packages were delivered 6 days later. The same day I went to FEDEX just down the road to compare pricing. I ended up shipped from FEDEX on the same day...cost was the same and my packages arrived 3 days later. Ship from here at your own risk. read more

They are usually pretty good but when I go there on a Sunday, many times they simply are not open and I've wasted time going. The sign on the store says open at 10am. But they are often times not open at all. Pretty weird for a IPS store read more

So guys. Funny story. My mom and went here simply to ship one (1) package, but we were blessed with a silly accident of my mom dropping her credit card completely under the desk (see picture). The people working were immediately responsive and happy to help. My mom and I were dying. She's so crazy. HORRIBLE service! From the blah attitude and mumbling answers from the people who work there to the fact that my package sat there for a WEEK before I called and was told "yea it's still here". When I returned to pick it up and take to DHL directly in Norwalk I was told "yea sometimes DHL doesn't pick up here for a while...i don't know..." OK well that info would have been useful when I dropped it off and was told "yea, DHL does pick ups". And DHL has them listed as an official shipping center. BIG MISTAKE!! I'm sorry to see so many negative reviews of this store. My experience was excellent. I asked for a quote for picking up an item from a local auction house, packing it, and shipping it. My quote came promptly and was far below the other estimate I had been given. The manager picked up the item the same day, packed it up and shipped it out. It just arrived with 8 little pieces of china in perfect condition. I would not hesitate to use this store's auction shipping services again. read more

How does this place stay in Business? Horrible Customer service, I went in to ship 3 packages via UPS. One would think the UPS store would be willing to help you with that. I asked what packaging material and what size boxes or mailers they thought I would need. I pointed to a section of the store and said our packing material is over there. So unhelpful and acted SUPER annoyed that I was even asking for help. If you need help with your UPS package don't go to the UPS Store, I suggest Fedex. read more

If I could give zero stars I would! This is the worst UPS store ever, there is always only 1 person (same person every time) working. He is unhelpful, rude, and tries to rip people off. Went in today and he was on the phone the entire time. From the side of the conversation I could hear it sounded like he was trying to prolong the conversation to keep from helping myself and the woman in front of me (who was visibly agitated from waiting). He then told her to fill out a form while she waits (didn't get off the phone). I asked just for a sticker to put the shipping label in and he snapped at me and said they don't have any and that I would have to pay to use a piece of tape (it was already packaged and sealed). This is not the first time I had a bad experience at this location but it will be the last. read more

The UPS Store picked up items at an auction house, came up with a less expensive way to ship than any other local shipper, expertly packed them and shipped them. They arrived on time. The worst experience ever. Paid 140 USD for shipping small etching to Europe. The package was unprofessionally wrapped and came completely damaged. DHL offered 12 USD as the compensation. The store refuses to pay back original shipping cost stating that they are privately owned franchise and has nothing to do with DHL. Avoid them for any cost. Very unprofessional. read more
