So we headed off to Corbins Corner and took care of business at this FedEx Center. We explained our mission to the attendant and shared our e-mail with the account number and shipping address, etc. As always, my wife was super nice and courteous, but we were both struck by the robotic cold fish demeanor of the lady that expedited for us. I walked around the store, saw their huge printing operation and inventory of office supplies stocked on shelves and racks -this is a very cool place to do business in or browse around. They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.

Part of the item arrived broken, which made the set worthless. I contacted PakMail numerous times by phone, email & in person about reimbursement for the item & the cost of packaging & shipping. They refused to pay me for the item until I signed a release for all other claims. After receiving the payment for the value of the item, I was told they would not reimburse the cost of packaging & shipping. Their reason was that I didn't purchase separate insurance to cover this cost. During the 45 minutes I was in the store completing the transaction no one ever explained that these costs were not covered by the insurance I had already purchased, nor was I offered the option to purchase this additional insurance. Unfortunately, I now have no recourse to collect the $388. I will never use this store again for any shipping or other needs. FYI - I have never posted anything less than a 5 star review. This place deserves less than 1 star.

I made an appointment for the United to pick up the unit 3 weeks from my visit date. The service person informed me that I am first on the schedule for pickup on 3/26. Further, he said that the driver arrives at 8AM and he should be at my house no later than 10AM. I thought, "Fantastic!". At 11AM, I called the Service department to enquire about the schedule as no driver had arrived. I was told that there was no notation of a morning pickup on the paperwork, but the driver will show shortly. Well, at 2:30 PM there was still no pickup and when I called Service yet again, they said that the driver was still out on first round of pickups and they could not contact him. This is my second negative experience with the service organization in Farmington. Previously, they serviced my prior John Deere lawn tractor which took an excessive amount of time to repair (4 weeks as I recall) and was very pricy. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.
