Went to make an Amazon return after Christmas. You guessed it, I wasn't the only one. But hey! They dedicated one employee to handle only Amazon returns and even though the line was long, of which some were doing other business, this employee went down the line and scanned the Amazon returns and moved us quickly through line. Love it when businesses plan ahead and think of the customer! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Ever since the old manager Susan left, I have consistently watched the owners and the new manager treat customers poorly. The new management and the store owners talk down to loyal employees. I've never had an issue with any of the employees, only with the owners and manager. The previous manager was kind and helpful to her customers and her employees. She spoke kindly to her employees and encouraged them to grow their skills and become more independent workers within the store. The new manager speaks so rudely to the employees it's disgusting. Susan, the manager, and the entire staff at this location is FANTASTIC! I have used their service weekly for six years, with both a mailbox and for printing/mailing, and they have always been kind and helpful, even when they get busy. I realize some people don't understand that Amazon & a few other companies require them to follow specific procedures in order to process returns, so please understand that it's not their fault that you can't just "drop it off" without your package being scanned properly. THEY ARE DOING THEIR BEST to make sure YOUR return gets processed correctly and efficiently. As someone who has trained others in Customer Service, I have personally observed that this is their priority. The manager/owner needs a lesson in customer service. She flat out told me she would no longer accept my packages to be mailed unless I purchased the postage at this store. So, if you have packages you need to send and purchased the postage online she will not accept them!! Do not waste your time going to this store to send a prepaid postal package. This used to be my go-to UPS store but I refuse to go here anymore. The last 3 times I've gone there, I've had horrible experiences. One time the system was down, so I had to travel to another store. I had to have a notarized signature, and the notary had me sign the wrong line. I went to mail my friend a gift and was provided with unprofessional service in the store and after when I called to clarify why I was turned away (I didn't know the last name of the recipient I was mailing the package to) the owner was very rude. She talked over me and never once apologized, telling me there's no inconvenience during a pandemic to go to another store. I've been dropping off prepaid packages at this location for the last year and never had an issue until recent. Apparently they want to scan in every dropoff and provide a receipt now, which requires waiting in line. If I have a prepaid package, I want to drop it off and go, I didn't prepay just to wait in line for you to scan it and give me a meaningless receipt. The "manager" Susan should change her name to Karen, as she absolutely lost her cool on me when I last dropped off a package for pickup and demanded I wait in line. I've always had a great experience here. Kind, helpful people. It's a smaller busy store where they do ask you to check-in your prepaid packages. This is for our own protection. Should you leave a package without checking it in, another dishonest customer may just pick it up on their way out the door and away it goes. This happened to me at another shipping place in town while the customer service reps were busy helping other customers. Then there is no record of you ever having dropped it off. I went to the UPS store to rent a mailbox for my business. I was greeted warmly by the three people who were working there, one right by the door, and two behind the customer counter. The first lady asked me what I was there for, I informed her I was there to open up a mailbox for business, and she directed me to the gentleman behind the counter. He asked me what size box I would like to rent. Since I'm only expecting postcards for my business verification, I decided on the small one, and away we went. He explained the policies, etc. and within ten minutes, we were ready to roll. I thought this process might take a while, but it was perhaps one of the easiest things I did all day, and I was so happy with how things went. I've had poor encounters at other UPS Stores in the past, including one a bit closer to my house, but this was a pleasant surprise, and I will be going back to buy more business supplies from them in the near future. this company is a bunch of BS with their delivery times. I was gone for 1 hour the day it was supposed to be delivered because I didn't know any time frame it was going to be delivered as all they put in their tracking is "expected by 9:00pm". then on the next day with their whack delivering on a weekday missed on both Monday and Tuesday because I was at work. Tuesday being their final attempt they are returning my package to the sender and I don't even get a full refund because they have to keep some of it for a dumb ass returning fee. Like seriously if you're going to deliver things on a weekdays, be like FedEx and just put it on the porch or something or try more than 3 damn times before returning it, not this stupid shit where you need a signature and low and behold the person isn't at home so you bring it back. The girl (Jenna) was so happy to reply "yes, you can email it to us and we'll print it but we charge a $2.00 fee." Possibly some of the worst services I have witnessed at UPS. I was told to come back as there is no one here currently that knows how to make a box. Then I was charged for a box weighing 88 lbs when it actually weighed 55 lbs. You would think the delivery date would have been correct but not to be. The UPS Store in general has great service. I went in to get a document notarized and mailed. The notary was pleasant enough but after i paid her the clerk behind the desk wouldn't even give me a piece of tape to seal my envelope. My experience in this store was not favorable each time I was in the store. The first time I was in the store, I was on foot and did not have an I.D. with me and was told "I needed an I.D". I commented "I did not realize I needed an I.D. to mail a package" and the clerk responded with, "AND NOW YOU KNOW" and was extremely curt with her comment. The second time I was in the store, I was waited on by a gal with longer red hair. She was equally as rude and asked "What's in there", referring to my package, like I was mailing something illegal. I ended up leaving the store and took my package to be mailed at the regular old post office. It was 1/2 the price at the post office. I am not kidding, it was 1/2 the price at the post office. I was greeted at the post office with "Is your package, breakable, have any liquids and a few other minor questions" and then asked "if I needed additional insurance". I also did not have to provide an I.D. when mailing my package. I do not recommend this store, they are rude and unprofessional. Go to the post office, it is LESS EXPENSIVE and you are treated by professionals that are friendly and want to help you in anyway they can. read more
