The service here used to be great, the owner and his staff (Scott and Don )were exceptional at client service and efficiency 8-12 months ago. The people that are now there have no clue about client service, they are rude, abrupt and not helpful. Most recently brought in an amazon package and although I've never boxed it before, they said "it's mandatory the customer package the box". Odd on my Amazon account it clearly states that packaging is not necessary and I did not even have option to print label as it was a code on my phone. I've heard them reject others also, and all of us confused about the new policy. The person in front of me said she did not need the receipt on another piece of paper and the employee abruptly said "it's mandatory, you have to take it like this". WOW. so the customer at this location seems to be always wrong. and a woman in the back just stood there while there was a line. I've yet to hear them say hello to anyone that walks in the door. read more

This UPS location refused accepting a barrel for my hunting shotgun to be shipped back to a retailer that originally delivered it to me via UPS. When I explained that it was only a barrel, I was told that they will not ship any part that is for a firearm. While I can understand them not allowing an actual firearm to be shipped via their location, not allowing any component to be shipped by them just shows their anti-gun stance. I went into this store for my first (and last) time about 2 weeks after Christmas to return a few Amazon purchases, because I was directed by Amazon to go there. I agree with the other person who said the wait time is somewhat absurd, I'm guessing 45 minutes. At the time, this didn't bother me...I put it down to the holidays. There were maybe 3 other people besides me. But, there did appear to be 1 employee there looking at something on a phone & chatting with a visitor, while customers waited. The person that assisted me removed the items from the box I had them in. I gave him my return slips, he scanned & checked everything, then printed out 3 separate labels for 4 items, which I thought was odd in itself at the time. He then proceeded to just heave the items onto a pile behind him (unboxed). Amazon claims none of the packages ever arrived. I can see possibly 1 package getting lost, but all 3? After spending hours on the phone, submitting a claim (including the "drop-off package receipt" given to me at the store that listed the items), then more time on the phone, and finally filing a complaint/charge dispute on my credit card, I received a partial "provisional credit" from Amazon about a month ago. I made 1 phone call to the UPS store and was promptly told to contact Amazon. I'm still waiting to hear about the rest of it & if they're going to charge it back to me again, as stated in their letter. It's now almost May, it's unresolved, and I'm still carrying charges on my credit card for some of the returned items and have been paying interest on all of it since December, while under the constant threat that they can put the charges back. I'm not sure if this is on Amazon (who has already lost my business) or where my stuff ended up, but next time, I'll be mailing it myself, and not through UPS. Been quite the learning lesson. read more

If you have all day to drop off a package then this is the place for you. I've been to this store a few times but today was the last time. The store rarely has more than one person working in it and the young lady that was working there today was slow as molasses. Didn't acknowledge me when I walked into the store and spends to much time chit chatting with her customers while others wait. Get a clue people if your not efficient people won't stop in there. There are a number other UPS drop off locations around town. Save yourself some time drive a little further and be in and out before even being acknowledged at this store. read more

I wrote the following review on Google: They never informed their customers that they will be closing at 1 pm on Christmas Eve. We only received a message on extended hours, but nothing about the fact that today, they are closing at such an early time. As my husband and I flew back this morning (24 December) to spend our Christmas at home, and had Christmas presents waiting at the store for pick up, we arrived there just shorty after 1 (it was probably 1:05) to only learn then that the store closed, together with our gifts, including those for our daughter. Luckily, we can go to Target and ensure that she has things to open tomorrow, but not informing your customers of such shortened hours on such a critical day is extremely unprofessional and I will be canceling our mailbox services in your store as soon as possible. Had I known in advance that we may be late to pick up the gifts before the store closed, I would have made alternative arrangements, rather than rely on a service provider that is clearly not capable of providing those services. The UPS store in our previous location was open until 4 pm on 24 December, and they ensured that all the customers knew this well in advance. While the stores may be individually owned and have different practices, information sharing is a feature of excellent customer service, and this store clearly lacks that. I am fully aware that Christmas is all about family and not about gifts; however, I also do not accept that my packages are held hostage to someone's unprofessional conduct and lack of commitment to their customers, especially given the holiday. Not to mention that there has been several occasions where we have been given mail from someone else's mailbox (I wonder how many times our mail went to someone else?), so what happened today just solidified my opinion that this place cannot deliver professional service. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. The owner came back saying that the hours were put on the website - however, I am sorry to confirm that I do not regularly visit the website of the local UPS store. I was also out of the country for a month, so I could not see the hours that were posted on the door either - and hence the reason that all my packages also arrived right before I returned (on 24 December). In addition, as I mentioned the UPS store in our previous location made sure that we received both a mailing and an email on reduced hours. This store sent an email regarding the extended hours (which I am sure were also posted on the website), so I am wondering why was it so difficult to ensure that the customers were also aware of the shortened hours on Christmas Eve in the same message. That would have been a proper information sharing practice with one's customers. I appreciate the efforts of the owner to respond to my concern, but I will never step into that store again. Oh and by the way - we were again provided with someone else's mail today. read more
