An overweight non loved worker resfused my package due to me asking questions about why I had to wait all the way til monday instead of getting package on sat. saying I got smart yeah well you consider Monday the next business day but yet I didn't get any notification nor was I was aware I had to sign for anything and am signed up for the notifications. they suck!!! she sucks and definetly would say the lady is racist!!! read more

I've never been treated so rudely by a business owner. I came in to drop off a prepaid UPS package, placed it on the counter, and asked for a receipt. Instead of providing basic customer service, Cody the owner made a sarcastic remark, became visibly angry, and even called me an "asshole" in front of another customer. He then told me not to come back. All I wanted was a standard drop-off receipt. Instead, I left shocked at how unprofessional and hostile the interaction was. Judging by the look on the other customer's face, I wasn't the only one who found his behavior unacceptable. If you value courtesy and professionalism, I'd suggest using another UPS location. read more

Absolute worst customer service. The female workers tone and delivery was horrible. Then she rolled her eyes at me. When I asked for the corporate number the owner advised it wouldn't matter since he owns it. Then charged me almost $4 to print a paper label. I will drive the extra 20 miles to never use this facility again. They don't even deserve 1 star read more

Went to this particular place just for notary services. The worker (who later claimed to be the owner) told me he forgot how to notarize documents because it had been a long time. Then, while I was signing pages (there were several for a real estate sale) and handing to him to notarize, he refused to notarize some random pages, refused to make a photo copy of my ID (required) and then told me he didn't have a notary title number (he didn't put it with the signature nor was it on his stamp). This all happened over 2 visits in the same day. I was on a timeline so getting everything completed and fed-exed back to the title company had to happen that day. I was very surprised he talked to me the way he did - and in front of other customers no less. I told him he was very rude, especially since the sign in his window said "veteran owned" and I thought that meant this was a safe space. Then he told me to leave his store and that I was "banned" from returning. Mind you, the documents were already signed in front of him so I can't just go to another notary to notarize a signature they didn't witness. I reminded him that a notary is only attesting that they saw the person sign the pages - the notary signature has nothing at all to do with the information contained herein, just that he saw me sign that piece of paper. He said he knows more than I do, called me a Btch, screamed at me all the way down the hallway. As I turned the corner to open the back door to the parking lot - he was still fuming and yelled to the person who was waiting for service that I was a stupid B* and better not come back again. So, of course I went back in - I needed those documents signed and notarized on that specific day so just giving up wasn't really my best option at the time. I asked him why he thinks his behavior is appropriate and he really needed to stop yelling down the hallway. I didn't appreciate the treatment I was receiving and since I didn't respond in kind to his explosive temper- that actually upset him MORE. That's when he jumped up and ran towards me (I was outside of his store at this point) he got in my face, screaming, veins popping out of his neck, spitting on me he was so close, threatened to have me arrested - I said PLEASE call the cops - PLEASE do! Because at that time I was unsure of what he was capable of. He got in my face so close he spit on me, and screamed to get the F out of his building. Screaming so loudly the businesses and customers were looking out of their doors. I am a 5'3" 51yo disabled veteran and not a threat to a fly. I was in NO way a physical threat to him, so his uncontrolled anger wasn't necessary. He kept saying he knows more than I because he I was a cop (WAS), he said he's also a veteran (so basically he can treat me any kind of way); then he said he was going to "cancel the notary " as he pointed to his computer screen. As he continued to scream these things in my face, I only said over and over "OK". This was the 3rd home I had bought/sold this year via remote notary, yet he proclaimed the lawyer who drew up the instructions and I are both LIARS and didn't know what we were doing. ? I knew what he was supposed to do, and called him on it - that is all I did. At the time I thought I needed his notary services so I was trying to talk through this with him, but he wasn't interested. I wouldn't engage in a verbal dispute and yell back like he apparently wanted me to. I didn't cuss at him, I didn't raise my voice at all, I even asked him to please call the police (he wouldn't). In my opinion, he is an out of control drama queen and needs to work on his business skills, professionalism and especially his anger. I did nothing more than bruise his ego by correcting [his own admittance of] not knowing how to notarize documents. What type of behavior does he express in actual confrontational situations? How does he treat his employees? I can't imagine anyone would dare correct him or they would experience his wrath. I decided to become a notary to provide professional notarizing services downtown so nobody has to be subjected to this type of treatment. Nobody should ever have to ask that person for anything - business or personal; I feel that he is too unhinged to be working with people. Oh - and I was able to get pages properly notarized by the lovely ladies at Deluxe Tax Service - what a delightful business and I certainly will be a repeat customer there! read more

The store has always been kind and helpful to me--especially during COVID--coming out to my car to get pkge and bringing back receipt. What more could you ask for? I left a similar positive review in the last year--but it does not appear anywhere--only nasty ones, probably from haters?? Not an accurate picture of store. read more

I found the same as Mark above. The workers seem to always have an attitude. They really don't seem to want to do anything to help. I bring all my packages out to the UPS depot on Lacon, even if it is less convenient. read more

I have never reviewed a business, but today was just a terrible experience with the UPS store 401 E Main Galesburg Il. Actually started with shipping a package that I had already indicated that I wanted to purchase insurance. I just asked what their liability was with regards to the package being delivered as it should. The gentleman got quite elusive about an answer, almost insinuating it was a stupid question. Things escalated to a point that I mentioned I would just like to take my package back and ship it elsewhere and would no longer patronize his business. His response was that he was happy to hear that, this is the owner! I at no time got vulgar or disrespectful to this gentleman. Finally upon another exchange he finally answered the question they are responsible for $100, was that so difficult, that's all I asked. This guy lost a customer because he couldn't just answer a simple question without being rude and he was happy about it. Just terrible! read more

It has been a while but it was OK. Downtown is a pain in the ass but what else is new.

I went there to mail a simple package. The store was a mess. The employee looked as if he was on something because he wouldn't stand still and kept asking me for cigarettes. I finally went through the steps to mail my package and was asked if I wanted to go in the back for a "goodtime". I was appaled. I will never be back. I took my parcel and left...quicly. Find a different place to mail your packages. read more

I arrived a few minutes before 8 am- the man behind the counter welcomed me in, went with me to my truck, unloaded the two HEAVY boxes I had to ship, and quickly got the packages labeled for shipping. Great customer service. I will return. read more

eww.....just eww, it was a while back when we visited this location, my wife went in to ship a package, should have taken only a few minutes. After 10 minutes I went in to see what was going on, there was my wife and someone named Kody, Cody, Dody (it was a while back). The 'man' behind the counter was......eww, all twitchy and staring at my wife's cleavage. We are from out of town and just wanted to ship something back home. We changed our mind and found the local post office and were in and out in 5 minutes and we didn't feel.....eww. I hope for his sake that he's off whatever was making him twitch and cleans his act up. We still pray for Kady from time to time. read more

As much as I hate to break the chain of one-star reviews, I have had an ok experience here. The first time I suspect that I was overcharged for mailing my package, and so didn't actually buy anything. The second time, I just dropped off my prepaid package without any problems. read more

I go in all of the time. My mom sends things back from HSN from time to time and I drop them off. NEVER had a problem with any of the workers (male/female) there. I am guessing since three people from all over the country came in on the same day and wrote horrible reviews, someone has little to do with their time and are creating fake YELP accounts to harass the workers and/or owner. The common theme in the posts on 4/21 - can't spell, illiterate and can not punctuate. Grow up and leave working people alone. read more
