Ask the Community - The UPS Store

Do you make 3 x 5 prints from color negatives?

Hi Gary! Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we are not able to scan or make prints from negatives. I would recommend reaching out to a photo studio in the area like Wilderness Studio or Home Video Studio.

I came. I saw. (I waited.) I conquered…read more International travel involves a lot of planning. Traveling with little monsters requires even more. We are planning an out of country vacay with my two kids. So, bring on the planning. First up-- Passports. I went on the USPS site, found out the deets on passports. Made a MANDATORY thirty minute in-person appointment. It sent me a confirmation and calendar invite, recommending arriving ten minutes early. We showed up on time and had to wait, 15 or so minutes. This normally wouldn't rub me the wrong way but kids in a post office during a busy time, ugh. So, what do you need to get a children's passport you may ask. Well... 1. Filled out form. 2. *Original* Birth Certificate 3. Photos (But they take them at this location!) 4. Proof of BOTH parent's citizenship. 5. Both parents to sign. 6. A check, one per passport needed. Honestly the staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. The facility was COVID cautious and had yellow dots on the floor encouraging distancing. While the location isn't very convenient for me (living on the west side) it is a newer, well laid out spot. I'm unsure the post office is ever a good time? This was just average... but hey! Some sandy beaches and sunshine are just on the horizon. Would definitely recommend getting a passport here, just avoid busier times of the day.

Went here (against my better judgement) rather than using Click and Ship to mail a Priority Mail…read morepacket. Huge mistake. I wait twenty minutes in line, get to the front, give the package to the employee and tell them politely that I'd like to send it regular Priority Mail to the address written on the piece of paper which I also I hand them. They put in part of the address, OMIT THE UNIT NUMBER, and ask me to view it on the screen of the terminal and approve or deny. I tell them it needs the unit number. They tell me they cannot add the unit number. I ask, can I add it myself? No, they say. They tell me I have to go and write the address on a piece of paper and come back and give it to them. I ask, can't you simply print the label indicating the complete address? No, they say, that's "not how it works," (?????) Keep in mind, I've given them a piece of paper on which is written the complete, accurate address. In addition, the self-service machine beside the staffed windows is out of service, and has been for days. Folks, we live in a crumbling, absurdist dystopia. A Kafkaesque hellscape peopled by marginally literate, petty wielders of empty authority. God help us.
