Upon entering, the lady at the front desk gave me a big smile and immediately helped me with my packages. She was patient and didn't mind explaining how my particular package would be sent. They are very helpful with Amazon returns. She went the extra mile with a smile. I appreciated that. Good customer service. This is a nice, large and clean store with all the benefits. Terrible Experience with UPS - Never Again I had an extremely disappointing experience with UPS. I dropped off an envelope containing an important document at one of their locations on a Saturday. By Monday, when I checked the tracking status, it showed that the package was not in their possession. I immediately called the store, and the manager showed no real interest in helping me find it. She simply filed a complaint and told me I would receive around $100 in compensation. Worried, I called multiple UPS numbers trying to get help, but no one was able to assist me. A few days later, I called the manager again, and all she said was that I had to wait and there was nothing more they could do. No responsibility, no urgency, no real customer service. In the end, I never received the document. I had to go through an entire process to request it again, which cost me $115 instead of the original $54--extra money and time lost due to UPS's negligence and complete lack of accountability. To top it off, they sent me a $15 check, which doesn't even cover gas. This company clearly doesn't care about its customers or the consequences of their mistakes. I will never use UPS again. read more

Came here to pick up a package. I was surprised by the unfriendly service received and the lack of attentiveness, I understand the holidays are frustrating for employees because of the high volume of customers but there is no need for rudeness. I told the staff member that I have the package number so he can found it easily he repplied with no, if I needed it, I will ask for it in a very condescending way. Then he asked for my ID and went to look for my package. Afterwards he scanned and told me to sign. He didn't communicate or even say anything else. I sent valuable (to our family) artwork from Miami to Arlington VA. Service was so friendly, it felt like a handshake deal. David (from Hallendale's UPS Store 1937) came over to our place, took 4 pieces of large artwork, and thanked us for our business. Super friendly, was not rigid about the fact that the service elevator was out that day (28th floor). A week later, another super friendly person calls me and says he's 45-minutes away from me...with my artwork. 45-minutes later, doorbell rings and a very large box was delivered inside my house! It took a long time to cut off all the tape and bubble wrap and cardboard and glass protection -- I think that artwork was packed so well it'd have survived any traffic accident. I took pictures, but they don't do it justice since you can't see how each picture was individually glass-protected, then covered with cardboard, then covered with paper, than covered with bubble wrap, then taped horizontally and vertically. I usually only ship documents and such, but I'm now going to use UPS Freight whenever I can. If I'm back in Miami and need to ship anything - even a document - I'm going back to Hallendale. Just another Amazon return drop off... quick and easy. I have used them to send a fax, make copies, copied something off my email or a document I needed when I ran out of printer ink. Compared to other UPS stores they are fast even when the line seems long. Staff is friendly, hard to find most places recently. I have been going for years and can say I have never had an issue... it's an easy stop on my way home, so it's convenient. read more

The folks at this UPS store knocked it out of the park, they picked up our painting, wrapped it exceptionally well, and had it shipped in a timely manner. the care taken in the packaging was so well don't that I wish there was a Packee Award as I would be nominating this crew. Extremely dissatisfied UPS. First time I shipped boxes with them instead of FEDEX in years & my 2 boxes are now going to take 3 additional days for delivery - instead of a Friday delivery they hopefully will be delivered on Monday. When I spoke with someone at the store, he said that there was an unforeseen problem. Never notified, except for my checking tracking when boxes were not delivered. They sent my package to the wrong address, and then told me it was my fault. The package sat in their store for almost 2 weeks, after the package was returned to them because the clerk typed in a 2 instead of a 0. I had sent a package to the same address 3 days before, so they had the address in their computer system . The owner of this business is rude and arrogant. The owner did not offer me an apology for his clerks error, and he insisted that I pay another $35.00 to sent the package again. Avoid this UPS store , go to the US post office , the postal clerks are much nicer and the shipping prices are much lower. read more

I live out of state and called for my Auction win to be packaged and shipped. The package arrived but BEWARE!... Watch your credit card charges! - They charged me twice! Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice. I did notice! I called and the owner, she said she would have someone call me. Stacy called back and thought I was lying, then rudely explained that somehow it was My doing or My fault or I just couldn't read my statement correctly. How could I possibly charge myself twice? Why would I want to charge myself twice? The charges on my statement, as I stated on the phone and confirmed by my credit card company were charges; they were not pending charges! - Both were charged on the same day. There were no apologies, no "I will take care of it". All I received from Stacy was "I don't believe you" and for me to prove it! This so-called customer service was not helpful and was rude and insulting! How can I prove these charges when they conveniently forgot to email me a receipt? All I have to track charges is my credit card statement online. Stacy was yelling about needing a POS that I knew nothing about...I just wanted an auction win to be shipped to my home! I didn't think to ask them to please NOT charge me twice! Well, I tried to work this out. I called and emailed them directly; I was certain it was just an oversight and thought the second charge would just be credited back to my account. I was sadly mistaken. I finally had to get my credit card company to help me dispute the charge. The inconvenience is not worth it. No recommendation from me. read more

Horrendous customer service by store manager VANNESKA TORRES. I was returning a small Amazon package. The lady that was helping me told me that I needed to pay for the tape to seal off the top part of the box. (We are talking about no more than 2 feet of tape, nothing excessive to be clear). I found this to be absurd considering how much money I spend there on a weekly basis. Instead of simply apologizing and providing me with the tape to cover my box, the manager immediately sided with her employee before even understanding what's happening. She then referred me to David and Lisa Reiser, who are the owners of this branch, and rudely told me to feel free to complain to them. The owners of this place obviously have zero control over their store and do not know who is being hired and the type of customer service that has been provided in their store. I came at a busy time and they all constantly acknowledged their clients and those waiting in line.
