I called at 3:30 asking if there was a notary there. I was told the notary would be there at 4 o'clock. I get there just before 4. I asked for the notary. They called him/her and I was told they'd be there in 15 minutes. I waited until 4:40 and the notary had not yet showed up. What REALLY pissed me of was the fact that I called ahead of time to confirm and they totally wasted my time. I drove 10 minutes to the UPS store on Miami Gardens and 19th Ave and got it done in a minute. You should have a little more consideration for people's time and maybe buy a watch! I only go there if I absolutely have to. Stay away from the older man. He often opens late. Once you get in he still won't start working. You have to wait until he "slowly", walks around, checks everything out (boxes, fax, the floor, etc). Eventually he will turn on the computers and you the look to come up to him. Once there wasn't a box behind him to put the package in, so he threw it on the floor and I do mean THREW! He hates being there and it shows. He'll spend so much time just looking around and SLOWLY WALKING AROUND, you pray someone will take over for him. If you're lucky enough to get one of the younger girls...you start thanking the heavens. I do everything I can to keep from going there. Because of him, the lines are extensively long. Also, he starts talking to the customer about small talk, while the line keeps getting longer. Stay away if you can! The UPS in Sunny Isles is fantastic. The 2 on Hallandale Beach Road...fantastic. If you use this one don't think you will ever be able to "just drop something off". They should have a line for just Pre-Labeled drop off where they give you a receipt . The box you can put it in will not guarantee you dropped it off and the way he works, I would not trust it. read more

Good UPS store, very convenient for me living in Aventura but unfortunately gets very crowded and long lines. Very entitled people that patronize this place no reflection on the shop but they expect these people to wait on them hand and foot. copies....copied something off my email or a document I needed when I ran out of printer ink. Compared to other UPS stores they are fast even when the line seems long. UPS Store Aventura Notary service with witness: Avoid this store. I waited almost an hour while customers with packages in line behind me were taken before me. When they finally took me, they grabbed a customer in line for a witness and the attendant made mistakes in filling out my document which I luckily rechecked before I left. To add more insult to injury, they charged me more than the amount quoted over the phone. Avoid this place at all costs...poor and unprofessional service and LONG wait time! read more

They just aren't very nice here. They lied and said they don't have wifi to send them an email to pay for something to be print. When you go to search for wifi it pops up that they have guest wifi. They treat some people kind and others they treat poorly. Discriminatory. The few times I have come here it's been because I absolutely have to. We all have something that we don't particularly enjoy. One of my dislikes is dealing with mail. I don't like packing boxes, wrapping paper, taping or writing labels. I also don't enjoy waiting in long lines at the post office. This is the reason why I go to the UPS Store Aventura for great customer service! I can walk in with whatever I want to ship without a box. I just bring the item, they pack it in the right sized box for me and I don't have to fill out a shipping label. They fill out the shipping label accompanied by the return address in their computer. All I have to do is drop off my mail and pay. Because, I am exceedingly happy with the amazing customer service I receive, I leased a mailbox at the UPS Store which provides me with 24 hour access to my mail. Because I rent a mailbox, I go directly to the front of the line. That's an added benefit, especially when there are long lines! Walked in with a 70lb box of photos to ship to NYC. Yes there was a long line, however Nicole was reassuring to all of us and definitely cooled some people down who were getting antsy waiting. She suggested I purchase 2 boxes and split contents. Yes UPS boxes are superior to Home Depot's etc.. it made a huge difference. My boxes securely arrived to NYC despite rain storms etc.. Nicole is so patient, calm converses well with all the customers. If all UPS stores (especially those here in NYC) had more 'Nicole's' we would all be in great hands and live more peaceful lives! The store was supposed to open at 1:30 but no one opened until 2. Once inside the line went pretty quickly once I gave the package to them I was told to wait in another line to pay. The woman working was also answering phones. Took me over 45 minutes to get out of there. read more

Was instructed by Amazon to drop a large package there with a QR code. After bringing it in, the guy took one look at it and said that the QR scanner 'wasn't working'. When I asked where to take it instead I was told they had 'no idea'. Very disappointed with service received. I dropped off two packages. There was a long line. The young lady working told several customers who were just dropping off to leave their packages on the counter. I left 2 packages as instructed and verified the drop off with the store associate. I left assuming that the packages would be delivered. One of the packages was returned to Amazon immediately and a refund was issued back to my account. The other package was never received by Amazon. I returned to the store several weeks later to track this package; but I was told that since I did not have receipt then I must of not dropped off the package; I was then told that maybe the UPS driver misplaced the package. The store would take not take any culpability for the package not being delivered. Instead, I was made to feel as if I was responsible for their negligence. In addition, the young lady that assisted me was very cheerful and polite to everyone in the line as I waited patiently to discuss the misplaced package. When I arrived at her counter location, she continued her conversation with other customers and when she finally turned back to me; she refused to offer a good morning and became cold and uninviting before I even opened my mouth. I am an African American male and this type of selective insolence is concerning. I would not recommend this location. read more

I don't have a frequent need for these services, but it was suggested that I try here to buy stamps. I'm standing patiently, waiting my turn. Either because I do not speak Spanish or because I'm not a regular customer, I was overlooked by one associate. The person that came in after me asked this associate for something in Spanish. Not only did she get whatever she needed, but she also promptly paid and left. Another person came in to pick up mail and promptly left. The entire time that I was there, this associate did not address me once. I did not interrupt him because he looked busy, and I have respect for customer service employees. Have the decency to at least ask me what I need. The only reason this isn't 1-Star is because the other associate, Monique I think, was very nice and very helpful. IF I ever decide to visit this store again, it will only be because of her and her excellent customer service. read more

I occasionally need documents notarized. Most of the time the only notary they have is not there, which I found out the hard way with a wasted trip a few months ago. When I called today, once again there is no notary today, and I 'could try the bank'. I'm a notary myself and find this incredibly annoying. No, thank you. I'll drive further to the one on Hallandale Beach Blvd. where everyone is always courteous and is a notary. It is such a pleasure to be a customer here. My boyfriend has a post office box for his business here, and has asked me to stop in an pick up his mail occasionally. The first few times I didn't have his PO box number, jus his name, but the owner knew it by heart. After confirming that I was an authorized recipient, he had the mail in my hands within seconds.
