This was the worst experience! You get a tracking number that don't have the full tracking number we call up there. It goes right to voicemail. Finally got through and the girl says let me check into this and I'll get back to you two days. First time visiting this UPS store. The store was very nice, very clean! When I entered the store, a young lady was helping another customer, no problem, I wasn't in a hurry, but a young man came out to the other register and helped me very promptly. The lady was very rude last time I went to return Amazon package. Was told I needed it boxed because they don't do it. Amazon said it's paid for that I don't have to. The owner is rude. They do NOT abide by Amazon policy for returns. Even though your instructions tell you that you don't need package it, this store will not accept returns unless they're packaged. Very frustrating location. Whenever I need a notary, they're never working. They don't seem to have regular hours either. I feel like they shouldn't advertise that they have notary services if a notary is not available during regular business hours! Like other reviewers, I've also noticed that the staff has often been rude and short with customers (not just me--everyone in line before me, too). Avoid stopping here if you can. Terrible customer service... Was told by Xfinity to drop the equipment off and they would send it back as well as give me a receipt. Instead, UPS tells me I have to pay for a box.... really?! The man working there is extremely rude. As with other reviewers, I too was told that I next time I need to repackage my own Amazon returns (even though Amazon clearly says its not necessary) because "He doesn't get paid to package Amazon returns". This business knows that it is the only UPS store in Hanover, PA. Service is absolutely terrible and is not able to properly return Amazon packages so charges customers three dollars to print out return documents. Store is empty and people only patronize because there is no other place to go. read more

Almost every experience I have with this store is terrible. The man that works in there the majority of the time is a total jerk. They NEVER answer the phone. And if they did answer the phone, you might be able to find out before you go there that they don't actually take passport photos even though it's advertised on their website. the man who works behind the counter has been extremely rude on many occasions. i walked in there, doesn't come out for a few minutes then said "what do you want". i kindly said i just needed to make a return. he threw his hands up and got upset i was making an amazon return, proceeded to take my package and aggressively threw it behind him, handed me my receipt and walked away. i said thank you and was just ignored. please don't work in customer service if you act this way. this location is not even a mile away from my house, but in the future i will be traveling that extra 20 minutes to go to a different location. i do not recommend coming here read more

I wish I could give a zero star rating! I HATE going to this store because of the owner or manager, I'm not sure his status there. He is rude, confrontational, nasty and has no idea what the meaning of customer service is. I have gone to return items from Amazon and the Amazon app clearly says no packing needed to return. This gentleman has yelled at me twice about it I showed him where it says I do not need the packaging to return it he told me that Amazon does not pay him to repackage my item and send it back. He told me the next time he would charge me to repackage my item. I think this is completely ridiculous and I do not know why UPS would want a person like this man representing them. I have gone to many other UPS stores and have done the exact same thing without issues. I don't agree with the previous review. These UPS stores can't influence prices. Their rates come directly from UPS. This customer probably got confused with USPS. I have shipped from there often and find their service to be excellent and honest. Plus they are really nice unlike service I have received elsewhere in town. read more

I was very unhappy with the store. I try to go in there to find out how to return something and the person there was very unhelpful. I am not very tech savvy and this was the first time I had to return anything and I need a label printed. He told me I had to send the label through the email to his store for him to print it. Have shipped through this UPS Store countless times and felt like I got good service, however I recently had taken a package into this store to be shipped via UPS Ground and was given a quote of $67.00 to ship. I took this same exact box to Parcel Plus in North Hanover and had it shipped UPS Ground for $19.75. Needless to say I will never ship via UPS store because they attempted to rip me off for $50 extra for the same shipping service. Now it makes me wonder how many other times I've been ripped off at this UPS store in the past! read more
