I wish there was a lower rating than a 1..This guy first of all has a lousy attitude...he has no clue as to what he's doing....went to him for a simple title change..and new registration...long and short. .he kept asking for more money..at first I was nice about it realizing no one is perfect...Then after milking me for 175.00 his only response was you need to call PENNDOT...I went to a reputable notary who began telling me stories about York Mobile Services.....this continued for 28 minutes . I don't understand how he is still in buisness....None the less 2 weeks after my initial visit with the new notary....I have new plates and registration is now in my name...total cost over 300.00...My next step is to report this to the BBB Thoroughly Disgusted read more

I went through hell and back with these guy I lost over $2800 because of him he never submitted my paperwork to PennDOT gave me the run around I had to report him to the state troopers because he was not Complying with penndot policy on title procedures he's not allow to do title transfer out of his place of business that's illegals years went by and he's harassing me over reviews that I put on his business page which are true stay clear of his business practices read more

This man was working with people during the covid pandemic. He wasn't wearing a mask or asked for us to have them on. I went for a title transfer to him MONTHS ago back in 2019 and I have never received my title. I called and had to show back up a second time to his garage so he could fix the errors on my pink paper. It's May of 2020 and I returned back to him to see what was really going on... he got very very rude with my boyfriend and told us he was with a customer who another man without a mask walked into the garage and he said his name. So if you ask me that definitely wasn't a "customer" he then told us that we should of CAME BACK and remind you we DID and told him! He told us to leave and threaten us. We did multiple dealings with him with which ONE actually worked out. I gave this man over 200$ to get smart with my boyfriend, threaten us and to put his hand on his gun. We will be getting a lawyer and reporting this man. I would never go to him. He's literally a threat to people and rips you off. read more

abs. do not use this guy he works out of his garage which I was ok with seeing as he had a license and still seemed legit I was trading vehicles and me and the other person both needed to do title transfers along with plates being transferred he gave us both exact amounts he said were owed and did all the paperwork. Told us we would have our titles in about 3 weeks its been 2 months no titles and now paperwork shows up from penndot saying I owe more money and theres a bunch of info missing on the vehicle so I called him to see what happened he instantly had an excuse for why it happened without even asking my name then told me it was a clerical error not his problem I asked how I was responsible for his mistake and was instantly being screamed at. his exact words were " I deal with you kind of people daily and you can kiss my a** and hung up on me I will be making my a complaint to the bbb and pendott this man should not have a license at all very unprofessional and makes a lot of supposedly " clerical errors" please do not give this man any money. read more

I don't recommend York Mobile Notary. Services and processing were not performed properly. Mr. Richard DeLauder the owner was extremely unprofessional. Purchased a used vehicle on 4/19/18 and the dealer toke me to Richard DeLauder for processing of tags, title, registration. We later noticed that the mileage on the paperwork was recorded incorrectly and made request to Mr. Delauder to make the correction. He came to the door with a very strong odor of alcohol and his behavior was clearly off. He wasn't able to understand our request and we needed to repeat ourselves over and over. Weeks later we received notification from PennDOT that our paperwork was processed incorrectly and missing required information. We were instructed in the letter to go back to the notary that processed our paperwork. On 6/4/18 we visited Mr. Delauder and respectfully asked that he make all necessary corrections and his reply was, don't come to me with a Expletive attitude. My husband's reply was that this was business and had nothing to do with attitudes. We need our tags, title and registration processed properly. He again exploded into a tyraid full of fowl language. He took the paperwork we received from PennDOT and refused to give it back to us. We have no idea at this point whether or when we will be properly credentialed according to PennDOT requirements and may need to pay another notary to get this taken care of properly. I am concerned for others who may end up with a similar situation and suggest that he be retrained in the proper way to process PennDOT services including acquiring some best business practices. He is totally lacking in customer satisfaction and the profanity is totally unacceptable. read more
