This franchise price gouges. Drive an extra 6 miles and save money. I needed to send some faxes. The other day I emailed a pdf document to a UPS store in Salt Lake. They printed the 16 page pdf file and faxed it - total charge for both printing and faxing a 16 page document - $7.76. Today I needed to send a 12 page document. So I printed it up and went to this franchise in Highland near my home. I thought it would be cheaper because I printed up the document at home. Boy was I wrong. No printing only faxing a (1) 12 page document instead of faxing (1) 16 page document came to $23.88. I was surprised and asked about the magnitude of price differences - the cashier told me every franchise sets its own prices and this is the price here at the Highland franchise. 10% maybe 15% difference I could understand by 350% difference. this will be the last time I ever go to this UPS store and I strongly suggest others do likewise. They charge twice as much as the previous package despite the previous package being twice as heavy. When we tried to tell they offered some poor excuse. Then it was sent using the US Postal Service and of course 10 days later was returned to our house. When we went to complain, they said there was nothing they could do. They literally said it was a new employee, teenager, they were training that made the mistake. They admitted it. So essentially they stole $70 . The manager can do something - go to your ATM and dry out $70. It's unfortunate for them that failure to acknowledge and make right just cost them a few thousand in package deliveries from me this next year, personally and with my business. read more

Would be zero is that allowed? I went in to do a Amazon return. No issues. I was helped by Connor who was very nice seemed like a great employee no issues. I also wanted to ship a box. Connor asked about the contents and I replied that it was a bipod for a rifle. He said no gun parts were allowed which is fine but this is an accessory. A co worker butted in and said the owner said no shipping anything gun related including accessories. That this was the policy of the owner. Needless to say I will never darken the door of this establishment again. I will recommend to my friends,neighbors and anyone who will listen to never go there either. It's a private business they can do what they want, but they will never get my business again. read more

After my first trip to this store and a terrible experience I said I'd never go back. I stupidly have returned twice because I've been in a hurry and it's the closest store to my home. Every employee from the part time teenager to what think may be the owner has been unhelpful and condescending. So what if I don't know the difference between Amazon QR codes and regular return labels. I do think it's weird when you have to charge me 3 dollars to print off a label to then scan it and print another. Worth the drive to go to another store, at least they might be helpful and not treat you like a moron cause you don't know every nuance of the ups empire read more

Stay away from this store location until management or the owner changes. I've had a number of bad experiences with this store but this last experience lit a strong enough fire under me to go sign up for yelp and leave a review. I went in to the Highland, UT UPS store location to ship an item. I needed the store to package it and ship it. They quoted me $150 dollars to send it to GA at the slowest speed possible which also included the packaging. I left the store and went to the Lehi, UT UPS store location and asked them to do the same thing. Guess what? They quoted me $75 dollars to send it to the same location, it covered the packaging, AND it would ship 3 days faster. (2nd day air) If you need to use UPS and live in Highland or Alpine, I STRONGLY suggest using the store in Lehi. I've never had a problem there and they have great service. They also go out of their way to help you save money and they're not trying to rip open your wallet. read more

Horrible customer service!!! I decided to use the UPS store for a simple print job because I found a 30% off discount code online. I needed to print a two-sided pass-along card on card-stock and set up my file using Photoshop (no worries right?). The process to place my order online was simple and easy, but the results were less than stellar. When I got my prints home, and finally had the chance to look them, they looked great... that is until I noticed a 3 degree tilt between the front and back. I filled out a complaint on UPS.com's website, got a phone call from a nice rep, and was informed that my complaint would be forwarded to the store's manager. Two days later I get a phone call and here's the response I get from the manager/owner "Unless there's a problem with the ink or the paper... It must be your file, because it's not our printers." Excuse me? That's your idea of customer service? Tough luck? I've agreed to take down the misaligned prints back to show them to the owner in hopes that she'll be willing to fix their mistake with a refund or a free reprint. Do not get any printing done at the UPS store in Highland, UT! It's painfully obvious that customer service is not a high priority. read more

I often do not go out of my way to post a review on yelp unless it is earth shattering in a negative manner or on the opposite end, the staff/service are outstanding. The UPS store in Highland Utah provides a level of service that is somehow missing in many instances in our society. When ever I bring in packages to be mailed out, I am greeted by the staff when I walk through the door and thanked for my patience by the employees. If ever I need to leave a package for return shipment, the staff provides a tracking receipt promptly. When I read negative reviews regarding this business, my first thought is there are some customers, that have misdirected anger issues, or are emotionally unstable, and should cool off for 48-72 hours or more before they use the power of the keyboard to ruin someone's livelihood. read more

I went in to do an Amazon drop off/return and had the digital label. They needed me to have a physical label and said they can print it for me.... for $2!!?! I'm like, "What?! $2 for a single sheet of paper?!" The helper there was a jerk and smuggly said, "That's the rules." The ridiculous policy and the rudeness of the clerk was appalling. s12/30/2017 Warning: Stay away from this UPS Store! The girl that was working was no help, did not have a clue about how to treat customers, or how to ship a simple package. So very negative which was completely uncalled for. She mentioned that she had been on a LDS mission to Japan. She should probably go back to Japan and stay there. Permanently. She refused to listen to me and I ended up leaving with my package because I would rather crawl to Canada and deliver it myself rather than spending one more second with her. There are so many different shippers and other ways of getting my package to it's destination. I will never go back to that store. Doesn't seem to me that they are overwhelmed by shipments because I was the only person in the store at the time. I wonder why. So good luck with your declining business and customers. You might want to do a little customer service training or Maybe firing of people when they need to wake up. I will forward this to UPS and anyone else that is willing to maybe do something about this. I'm sure she will have a list of excuses why she couldn't ship my package and that I was the one with the attitude problem. Just worthless all the way around, and a complete waste of time. If you are shipping anything important to you, DO NOT USE THIS STORE. Normally, I seek out the best in every situation, but there is nothing about dealing with this store and its employees that I can say anything positive about. Nearly two months ago, I walked in with a large amount of merchandise I needed to send ahead to IL for a convention I was presenting at. I paid for packaging of said merchandise, as well as shipping. Not only did I pay an inflated amount of money for materials ($9.00 for bubble wrap alone, are you kidding me?) but the amount I paid to ship the heavy package was hardly worth it. Why? Well, my shipment NEVER LEFT THE STORE. Somehow, after the label was created, the entire thing just somehow vanished. I only insured the package for a small amount, as I have never had a problem using UPS, but with the loss of my merchandise, I am out over $1,000. In trying to seek compensation for the insurance, as well as the additional costs incurred, this store fought me at every turn. I still have not been reimbursed, and the corporate offices are now dealing with the claim. The owner of the store lied in the claims process and said the items were 'customer packed' so she wouldn't have to cover the expenses of the box/packing materials. Good business / customer service would be to make the entire thing right as quickly as possible. This store will lie and cheat you out of every cent. You have been warned. read more
