I decided to go back to my favorite UPS store on Richmond Road. As soon as you walk in, you can hear a happy, professional approach. I showed Avni my downloaded prints and asked her to help me, since I have no clue how to frame them for the house's walls. She is such a professional and knowledgeable person; she explained the process to me and taught me how to buy the frames. I forwarded all my d/l prints to her. I bought the frames she showed me, and in that moment, I learned how important it is to buy the right frames for the wall pictures. Everyone at this location is so helpful, and I am lucky to have found this location so close to my house. Highly recommended. This UPS store was so extremely helpful. They were more than accommodating to me. I had this huge rug that I needed to take back, and the first time I came it was too long for a box. The manager the day prior, he let me leave it there overnight to come back, unwrap it, and fold it, so it would be able to fit it in a box. When I came there today, the women there were so helpful. They let me take care of the rug on the premises. She measured and put the rug in a box for me. I will be definitely coming back to this location because they treated me like a person instead of like a customer. I was today at UPs for my Fingir print appointmen and Mrs. Stephanny helped me a lot . she is the best, she should the Manager.

I had to print a label and the cost was $0.17, which I had zero issues with. I had to purchase a box for a return and I had no issue with that either. Then I was charged $3 for having had the label printed. I explained to an elderly, very rude woman, that it took the cashier 5 seconds to print and that $3 on top of the charge of the label was outrageous. In the rudest manner, she responds by saying that her customers pay her $5 instead of $3 because of the service of having them print a label. I will never be using that UPS again. Would not recommended coming here. I usually go to the ups store on westheimer which is great but this one sucks. First of all they weren't very friendly. No greeting when I said hello and While I was looking for a label in my email this guy was tapping his finger clearly annoyed at me taking a while although no one else was in the store. I asked him a direct question and he ignored me while someone else came from the back to answer which was weird. To print one page/return label it's a minimum of $3.. ridiculous. I actually planned to mail a few items that day that would have cost a great deal but that price to print one page was so ridiculous I had to walk out. go to the one on westheimer where they are friendlier and it's much for reasonable to print return labels. This location is horrible. I wanted to drop 6 packages and they would give me a receipt. I use ups daily and get receipts everywhere I go. If you don't you have no proof that you left it. He told me to take pictures of the labels that would be my proof. That gives me no proof at all. Be very cautious using this place I asked for a receipt and you told me no. Now being that I have a box at the UPS Store on Westheimer, I don't have to come in here at all, but I'll do so if I'm in the vicinity running errands (TJX, Ulta, Mod Pizza are all right here) to drop off a package. In a word, this place is horrible. I have attempted to ship several packages before work at this location and each time, I have either had to wait in a huge line OR the center failed to open on time. This morning, I wanted to send a malfunctioning receiver back to ATT and at 8:50am, there was no staff inside the store and the door was locked. What's the problem, you say? Well, the store was scheduled to open at 8:30 am. I'm sure I'm not the only person to have been inconvenienced by the tardy staff, considering that there are post office boxes inside the store, as well. (They lock the front door and make those boxes inaccessible before and after store hours) I wouldn't be so harsh in my review if this was a "one-off situation". Unfortunately, this is my third time dealing with their inattentive, slow, LATE staff. I tried calling UPS Store customer care and they said they'd forward a note about the situation to the owner of the store. YEAH. I'm not sure if this is a real UPS store because they act like a third-party authorized UPS store. They charge for tape, they never have enough coverage, and won't ship an item if the weight is not correct. I ship with UPS regularly, and this is the only store I've ever had an issue if the label did not have the proper weight, she said that the driver would not pick up the package. That is false information since I have had packages picked up from UPS before and will be invoiced to my UPS account later for the difference in the shipping cost for weight variance. Three people working and three customers, and it somehow took 10 minutes to drop off a pre-labeled package. I needed to print other shipping labels and saw they had three printers. I asked for the price and was told 17 cents per copy up to $3 and some change. Being that no one was able to help, I figured out how to get three pages printed myself. The UPS owner and employees didn't lift a finger only to charge me $3.81. Go to FedEx instead if you need to print a copy since they charge you what they feel. Opt for the UPS off of San Felipe and Post Oak if you need to drop off a package or ship. They are much more efficient and professional. read more

Cliffs Notes: After relocating to Houston, I chose this UPS Store for my mailbox rental because it was closest to where I worked. I have used UPS Stores all over the country (I think this is my 8th different rental or so?) since I travel so much for work and value the mail/package receiving and forwarding services. Unfortunately this location (UPS Store #1719) is the first truly negative experience I have had with a mailbox rental, and I strongly advise not to rent here. The Details: First off, I get mail addressed to other mailboxes multiple times a week. I also get tons of mail intended for prior renters of my mailbox number. When I give store staff prior renter mail, they just throw it in the garbage. They don't even shred it. This is especially galling given my understanding is they're supposed to notify the USPS, which is what past UPS Stores I rented at did when this happened. Second, so far I've failed to receive probably 20+ mailings I was expecting. This includes financial statements, and once it was even a credit card. Given the prior complaint, it's not surprising - they probably put them in other people's mailboxes and they just didn't get back to me. Who knows where all that mail is now? And what about mail I wasn't expecting that I just don't know about? I fear every time I check my credit report. Third, staff is unprofessional. I'll just give the worst example: once, an employee got agitated waiting for me to sign package slips (they print out a slip for every package, so when I pick up multiple packages, I sign each to indicate I received each one). She insisted that I just sign one slip and then she just stapled them all together. Well, we know where this story is going, right? A few weeks later, she couldn't find a package I had a slip for and so she insisted I had already picked it up and just not signed for it. Her reckless accusation left me speechless - this whole thing was her idea, not mine! Naturally, the package was for a very expensive electronic item. The package was eventually found but only after multiple complaints. Finally, this location is severely understaffed. This is compounded by them often not prioritizing mailbox customers (who typically only need 15-30 seconds to be served) over customers trying to ship packages. I've seen lines of customers almost out the door here, and I'll just have to leave because I don't have time to wait 15+ mins to pick up a package. In their defense, they have gotten a bit better about this over the past couple months, but it's still a problem sometimes. Apologies for the super long review but I feel that this information has to be out there so future potential renters don't make the same mistake I did. Complaints to corporate result in apologies but since the locations are franchised to independent owners, corporate can only register complaints with the owner. So we have to do the only thing we can do: take our business elsewhere. read more

You couldn't pay me to come to this ups. The customer service is absolutely horrible! I had my UPS package delivered there and the day that it delivered I went to pick it up. They literally charged me a 5 dollar fee just to pick it up. They told me for holding my package it was 5 dollars which is absolutely insane! I have never heard of tht so I called ups and asked and was told that I wasn't suppose to pay. On top of that this is the exact same location that lost a package of mine literally not even a week ago. These people are scums of the earth trynna get any dollar they can. I could care less about the dollar amount more about the principle. Save yourself the frustration and just go or get your stuff delivered else where read more
