These people must be new owners. Extremely rude, can't understand what they are saying and they were blasting Indian music which made hearing them even harder. I would give zero stars if I could. The owner is constantly leaving the notary schedule on when he is not there. You make an appointment go in and get told oh the notary is not here and that he is the owner and the one in charge of the schedule. I do not suggest making an appointment for here. read more

Poor front line costumer service. Picked up a package that was shipped via UPS and inquired about a charge. The young woman said "We're not UPS, you'll have to check with them". I thought that's funny you're called the UPS store and you're all wearing UPS logo uniform. Perhaps you have something to do with them. Response again was "We're not UPS". When I asked for a contact number she ultimately wrote it down for me but she seemed so inconvenienced. Just really disappointed with the interaction. read more

It is no wonder this place only get 2.5 stars. They are horrible. Do not trust your shipments with them. I mailed two irreplaceable vintage family photo albums and a stack of irreplaceable photos to Arizona. The woman who charged me, Renee, told me she could "probably" fit the stack of loose photos into the same box as the photo albums. Well, apparently, she couldn't because the photo albums arrived in a box which left absolutely no room for anything else. So, what happened to my loose photos??? After 5 conversations with the people there, I get NOTHING. Renee acknowledged the existence of the photos but them tried to push off responsibility to the people in back who actually do the packing. That didn't fly with me. The manager/owner. Vishal, cant give me an answer and was supposed to call me back a week ago. I think the person who packed the items (obviously) could not fit the photos in the box paid for... so they were put aside. Why mail them and swallow the charge? Perhaps the packager and/or Renee would be charged for it or at least get a black mark against them. So...What? Just put them aside? Throw them out? I am furious. WARNING, WARNING: DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE LESS THAN AMATEURS, THEY ARE UNSCUPULOUS. read more

Will NEVER use any UPS Store again, especially this one. I sent a time-sensitive package 2 day air and it ended up going ground so it took 4 days. When I asked Chris to honor the UPS guarantee for 2 day shipping, he pointed me to UPS. When I called UPS they said it was the responsibility of the UPS Store, which is a franchise. Don't be fooled by the name of the store - this isn't really UPS. And they don't stand behind the UPS guarantee AND even worse, all of the packages shipped at this location do not always get scanned by the actual UPS drivers when they are picked up from this location. My 2 day package was not scanned until Day 3, when it was already late. VERY FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE! Not impressed with this store or Chris! read more

Worst UPS store I've ever been to. Their rates are marked up 100% compared to UPS directly. Manager was the rudest to customers as well. The store had a total of 03 customers. So it was not busy at all this time of year. Thankfully he wasn't speaking to me or it would of been not good. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Hyannis, Massachusetts

This UPS location might be my preferred destination for shipping. The clerks are helpful and kind. I have mailed packages from many locations across this country (we RV half the year) and typically expect inconsistent service. But each time i visit this location, no matter who is working, i am greeted with a smile and a "get it done" attitude. Even during the height of the pandemic, when lines were out the door and people were stressed out, the staff kept cool and assisted each customer in order. i suspect most customers are grumpy when entering UPS because they are returning something they purchased online and it didn't suit them. Or it arrived broken. Or they found it somewhere else cheaper. Whatever the reason for the return, we are not accustomed to having to go out of our way to have our desires met. When i read some of the negative reviews, i wonder how much the writer was influenced by their bad mood before they even entered the store! i appreciate the UPS Store in Hyannis and am especially grateful to the clerk who recently helped me re-pack my Amazon return. I accidentally left my purse at the Olive garden in hyannis while on vacation. The Olive garden brought my purse to UPS store nearby to be shipped back to my all the way in Warren massachusetts, 2 hours away. The gentleman on the phone who took my order, said it would cost $16 to ship my purse back to me. I AUTHORIZED $16. I look at my account the next day and my bank account was charged $28?!? I asked to speak to the manager and she said sorry I'm the owner, I'm the only person you can speak to. She has zero problem solving skills and refused to honor the original quote. She said my only option is to have my purse literally shipped back to them and my purse would be stuck there? Again, she would not honor the original quote. She would not refund the difference. I begged her to listen to the recorded call in which he quoted me $16 and she said no. I said ok so the only option you're leaving me with is to drive a 4 hour round trip to hyannis or have an unauthorized charge on my debit card?? She confirmed that is correct. These people are crooks who will literally hold your stuff hostage after doubling a charge without your consent. Insane. Do not use this ups store. I dropped off a package to send back to Amazon the girl would not give me a receipt she said I would receive an email. I waited til the following day still no email. I went back to the store the same girl was working I told her I did not receive an email and I would like a tracking number for the package. She told me we don't do that... I told her I have always received a receipt when shipping something she then told me that she has done that since she started working there. I then asked for the managers name she jotted the name Chris on a piece of paper I then asked for his last name she told me I don't give that information out..... so now I have dropped a package off for an item so I can get my refund from Amazon of $130.00 with no proof that I sent it. I am so frustrated and upset that this employee felt it was okay to treat me so badly. I will not return to this store! read more

I visited this particular location two times in June of this year. My Dad had just passed away and I had boxes of his hand made, one of a kind items that needed to be packed & shipped to my home in California. I was an absolute mess... Emotional, tired & nervous that these irreplaceable things would not arrive safely. My first interaction was with Mike. Let me tell you, it doesn't get any better than the service he provided. I hope he's a manager - if not, he should be. He was kind, patient and a true class act. Best customer service I have ever received anywhere, from anyone. Thank you for your kindness, Mike. I came back the next day and worked with Aaron. By this time I was just done, and not to mention I was on my way to the airport to fly home.... I was out of patience. Lucky for me, Aaron had enough for the both of us. He was great to a grieving/impatient woman, and I am grateful. All 4 of my boxes arrived in perfect condition. The time and detail they put into packing everything was evident. Thank you guys, so much. I can't tell you what it means to have my Dad's items displayed in my home... This is a very well run UPS store. The staff are very friendly and it's a great place to receive packages. You get a text or email whenever anything arrives. I have found that packages from UPS, USPS And FedEx arrive in better condition when shipped her than packages with are sent to my home. 24 hour access is available and you can call and arrange for a package to be available for pick/up out of hours. I am not easily impressed, but I wasn't!!!!! read more

Not only are they unprofessional and rude, but they charge for ups access point packages, which they're not supposed to do. Sent family heirlooms from my great grandmother's house after it sold from this store to my home in GA. Spent over $400 on several boxes and paid extra for insurance. They arrived smashed. They did not mark as them fragile as requested. They used their account as the shipper which resulted in me not being able to file a claim, they had to do it. They said the most valuable item was denied and paid ZERO on it. Wouldn't even refund the $78 paid for that box to be shipped. Pick another location and do not give this one your business. read more

WORST UPS STORE ON CAPE! The staff in this location are the worst I have ever worked with. They will try to charge you the MAXIMUM possible amount to ship an item for any box, tape, or any packaging material. They tried to tell me $30 to ship something that already had a prepaid shipping label for a medium size box and tape! I ended up finding a box that fit and paid $11 in the end. The next time I went in I had the same issue and I tried to explain to them that I just needed a regular box, nothing fancy. The employee Mich Mcfly was extremely rude, called me cheap, and even mocked me when I was expressing my frustration, then told me his family owns the location so good luck reporting him to a manager! Definitely stay away from this place, you will be glad you did. And I certainly will be reporting this location to UPS because I highly doubt they want these kind of people representing them. read more

every time i go in there it is a great experience, fast, efficient, smooth and i use printing services and mail a lot...but mostly I appreciate the girl who is always in there, she is patient and quick, perceptive and cool...give her a raise...seriously, employees like that you want to keep...i work in service industry and after decades I know who you can trust to get things done right, consistently...and without customer complaints or hassle...I'd give her ten stars if you had them. read more

What a great place, customer service was the best, and it was the best place to go. I bought a lot of stuff at the Christmas Tree shop and took it all to The UPS Store and they handles everything from glass ware to plastic items.
