The review is specifically for the UPS Drop off service. I brought in a prepaid/labeled package and got a receipt proving that I dropped off the package. UPS has no record or tracking information for the package, so I went to the UPS center in West Yarmouth, MA. They told me that UPS never got the package, it's Staples fault. I went back to Staples and talked to Patrick, the Assistant Mgr who was very rude and unsympathetic, saying that "nothing is 100%". He said that my receipt was proof that UPS picked up the package, I said "No, that is my proof that I brought the package here." I was told that they do not track the package once you drop it off. So now I am out $72 for the lost contents of the package, and no explanation or apology from Staples. DO NOT USE, or you will lose. Once you drop off your package you are on your own. Terrible system, no tracking of your package to prove that they did their job of forwarding to UPS. Drop off your package at the UPS center in West Yarmouth or anyplace besides Staples in Hyannis. read more

Staff here is always very nice and helpful. The UPS service there is convenient too. Only complaint is one of the girls wasn't wearing a mask the other day and I see her often with it halfway off. I feel for workers having to wear it all day but not having it on at all isn't really acceptable. read more

This review is specifically for the Print Center. Recently I stopped in to get some photos scanned into a PDF format for a project I was completing. The staff here was pleasant, but obviously understaffed which was a bit of a nightmare because customers were asking the staff questions while they scanned the documents. The end result was the fact that they didn't check the glass on the scanner and all of my photos had smudges. Once I found out the quality of the scans were bad I returned to this location and asked that they rescan the pictures. They were very understanding and did so. The final result was high quality scans. In the end, this store is a middle of the road Staples that could be better if the staff here wasn't stretched thin and could actually spend time with customers. Watching staff bounce between customers made it tough to feel supported especially when it seemed a burden to ask questions as they were rushing along. read more

Horrible. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone to find out if an item is in stock...then got cut off. That's just the beginning. Picking things up (ordered online) in the store is TORTURE. They either can't find it, or they say it isn't there when it is or it takes FOREVER to find it. Why do I keep using them, because they're the only ballgame in town. They need competition, like when Kohl's came into Hyannis and all of a sudden KMart's service got better. read more

RE: UPS Drop-off Counter: Staples has a UPS drop-off. I went in with a pre-paid-label and a very well packaged parcel. They wanted to charge me a FIVE DOLLAR "packaging fee" to simply affix the label to the box! Or... if I wanted... I could go BUY some tape in isle whatever and tape it on myself. Print shop.specifically. I had to pay $99 for fifteen pages (8 colored) collated and stapled. My bad because I didnt ask the price ahead of the job. Color copies are $0.69 per.page and no prices posted. Staff was fine. Not their issue. read more

I will never use their print shop ever again, the last couple of times I have used the website to order for pick up in store has been a disaster. They either never got an "alert" that it was sent, making me wait hours after I came to get it (which I do wait the 4 hours to go in store like they suggestion btw) or their machine is broken and they never call me, or if they do they call HOURS after the order was placed. The staff is helpful, but they got it completely wrong with the redesign of the checkout. I don't know if you've ever been to a cattle auction, but that's what the new check out reminds me of. I purposely avoid Marshalls and other retailers because of this reason... "Cutting the line" is part of life... Seems to me that they were always understaffed on the registers... So when you open a new register, people in the back of the line move forward. So now one person runs the register, and you feel like live stock... read more
