Cheryl Howell was on duty today 4/20/15. The store was quite busy and a continuous run of people in line and entering the store. We needed a notary stamp and some pictures printed and some copies. She handled the people prior to us and when she got to us she took care of our needs. While she attended to us there were about 4 - 5 more customers that were gathered in line. Coolly and calmly she addressed each customer and their needs so professionally, and answered questions that were thrown at her while caring for the immediate customers. This is what great people do and how they respond under pressure. UPS is very lucky to have such an employee and their customers are lucky to. Every single employee in this store either needs an attitude adjustment or just needs to be fired because none of them have any business working with customers. they're rude, unprofessional and half of them can't get their story straight half will say you need a box for an Amazon return the other half so you don't need a box and then when you don't need a box. They spend most of their time standing around chitchatting instead of doing their job. read more

I love this store! Since the beginning of the pandemic, I have found myself home shopping a lot and having to do a tons of returns. Your store has made my addiction easy to manage. The ladies there are very nice and that James has given me tips on making my returns simple and easy. Plus I want to thank you guys for working through all of this. I found Cheryl to be the main employee I've seen there and interacted with. She's very down to earth, personable and knowledgable. For anyone who complains about having to pay for supplies, did you think it would actually be free at a shipping store? I find that every time I go to this store I have a terrible experience, these experiences included paying extra for a box to be taped up, paying 3 dollars for single regular print, and rude customer service and this was the last straw. I dropped a package off to them for ups. The package was scanned as accepted but was never scanned that it departures the store or accepted by a ups driver. So now my package has been lost/stolen for 3 months and I am still waiting on a $500 refund. They refused to do anything as they said it was out of their hands. Please take your business to the UPS store in New Albany if you want exceptional service as this store is poorly managed. read more

Not a good first impression. This was my first time visiting this UPS store. I wasn't sure where it was, but it was closer to work than the one I normally go to in Louisville. I had a package to drop off after work, and wasn't sure if I could get to the Louisville location before they closed at 7:30pm. So I GPSed the closest UPS store, and got this one, right down the street from work--yay! I drove around the area when my GPS said I was there, but I didn't see the place. After several minutes of driving around the vicinity, not seeing the sign, I saw what looked like a shipping store, but the exterior light was off. It was lit inside. I pulled up closer, and could see the turned off sign. It was the UPS store! I thought they must have closed at 6 or 6:30, because by that time it was 6:52pm. Someone then pulled up next to me, got out of her truck, and walked inside. They're open? Fantastic! But why the hell is the light off, then? So I hurry inside to drop off my package--an urgent shipment. The sole employee comes up to the counter from the back of the store--not looking very happy, but she did offer me assistance. She abruptly indicated for me to place the package on the scale, and I did. She then asked if I had pre-paid postage on the package. When I answered affirmatively, she replied, "Thank you, Jesus!" Ok...... She then said that there are eight minutes until the store closes. Personally, in the past, I have worked in both retail and customer service in various capacities and at various companies, with many years of customer service provided. Never have I ever taken on a laziness-backed, entitlement-driven attitude that my job is done 10-15 minutes before closing, and that no customer need expect any further service after that point. And that I get to ride the clock for free for the last 10-15 minutes of each shift. I see far too much of this attitude these days, especially in the public sector--recycling center, public library, county clerk's office. But also at many retail establishments. It's unacceptable. So much so, that it's worth a four-star deduction. read more

If your looking to do a return to Amazon, dont waste your time going to this location! I was in the area and crunched for time as I usually go to the New Albany location on State St. but decided to stop in and drop off my items here. I read that no box or label was needs as the same as State St. I went inside, the line was almost to the door. Approximately 10min later, I tell the man workimg the desk I have an Amazon return & he asks if I have a label? I tell him no and he tells me for $2.49 he can print each of label. 2 total. Then proceeds to tell me I need to pick out a box for each item as I have to have them boxed and ready. One item was a $20 item, by the time I paid for the shipping label & box, I would have PAID to sent it back! I told the man I would just take them to the New Albany store and he said "bye". He had not moved from his stool/chair since I had arrived, even directing other customers where to get things or where to put their pkg from his seat. Very unprofessional! I'm not sure why this UPS has totally different procedures than all the others when it comes to Amazon, but I will not be back! read more

Easy to access and lots of parking lot. It's small store so sometimes I have to wait for 5-10 mins but staffs are always friendly and helpful. They have every basic service you can think of from UPS. read more

Do not send anything you care about. Do not expect them to honor insurance you purchase when they destroy your property with terrible packing. Kids in kindergarten could pack things better. Rude customer service. Dishonest. And poor communication. Shame on UPS. read more

I normally do not complain but I recently started a Scentsy business and that involves mailing out quite a bit of promo materials and samples to customers. I don't have any experience weighing packages and determining postage, so I found myself at the local UPS store because the post office hours don't work for my day job schedule. Anyway, I've always had such a great experience with James. He just takes care of it and I don't have to worry. This past Monday, I went in and he wasn't there. A younger lady obviously did not have a clue what she was doing and the older lady told her just to have me put stamps on these packages. I spent a fortune in stamps, stamped them myself, and she said she'd take care of them. But i was worried about my stuff, honestly. Well, yesterday I got 4 of the 9 back requiring additional postage. I was so upset - I have people expecting this stuff for a current party. I went back in last night and the same second lady proceeded to tell me she didn't know how to fix it, and I'd be better off going to the post office. Extremely frustrated and discouraged at that point, I asked when James would be back. Luckily, he was working this morning!! I came in, explained the situation and what was said to me. He apologized and was very kind and understanding of my frustration and then... he took care of fixing the mistake. I don't have to worry and I really appreciate working with James. In fact, I won't be back unless he is there. read more

No need to wait in line at the local post office. This ups store offers both ups and usps services. Plus the customer service is the best! I also didn't know all of the printing they do. Always the same associates who take pride in making sure your needs are met. read more

Very helpful with package that I need shipped.

I stopped by this location on my lunch today to drop off a couple of packages. I got there at 1:35 and found the door locked with a handwritten note taped to the door saying, "Out to lunch. Be back at 2:30." Not something you can do in business when the hours clearly state 8:30am - 7pm. I called and filed a complaint with UPS. The lady that filed my complaint agreed that it was unacceptable for the store to close down in the middle of the day. While I was sitting in the parking lot, on the phone filing my complaint, 6 people went up to the door and were obviously upset that the store was closed. Then, right as I was about to leave, an older gentlemen went up to the door, punched in a code, and walked right in. I thought he was going to open the store up... nope. He grabbed and envelope off the counter and walked right back out, locking the door behind him. Unacceptable and unprofessional. You shouldn't post your hours in the window and online if you're not going to be open during those hours. I worked in retail for 10 years at department stores and banks, and have never been able to shut the place down to take a lunch... ever. read more

This store loses packages that "Price" signs for as arriving. Caused me nothing but headaches for hours one night because whoever signs for packages is lazy and doesn't verify all packages are actually delivered to Access Point. UPS was on the phone with me and was shocked that the store signs without verifying. Woman that was helping me informed me that the person that signs for packages arriving doesn't actually check if all the boxes are delivered, and just signs for all of them at once. The employee acted like that was acceptable. She offered no number for me to call and no insight into what happened, said she had no idea who the driver was, and no way to contact anyone to find out, didn't care at all about my situation, very poor customer service skills, looked like she was ready to go home. This is the fourth time I have had rude interactions here. Employees are frequently rude and seem annoyed when they have to get up or help you with suggestions or prices. read more
