It's rare that not one but TWO members of management are extremely rude to a customer, but it happened here today. I acknowledge I made a mistake- assume my amazon return was the kind that didn't need to be boxed in advance. My error. There are many different ways to say the same thing to a person. Generally in customer service, you try to find a polite one. Not today apparently. The young mans retort to me saying my amazon returns haven't required boxes before was a sharp and nasty "WELL NOT TODAY." Around the corner came manager number two, an older woman who tried to put hands on my cell phone, rushed me and talked over me to point out my error. And yes, I had overlooked the instruction to box it in advance. That doesn't allow this woman to try to touch my phone and why am I being rushed while I am trying to confirm the information on my amazon account? Finally, as I say no thanks, I'll bring it back another time, she yells after me WELL ITS STILL GOING TO NEED TO BE IN A BOX! Like, really? And then she looked startled that I turned around to tell her she was heard the first time. Do most customer service based employees go out of their way to get the last word in a situation like this? Gross, nasty and unnecessary treatment that I will not forget. read more

If possible this would be a negative 5 rating, this ups store is the worst of any store I've ever dealt with, 2.50$ to put two 6-8 inch strips of tape on a box, a box that's .68 cents at Walmart is 3.50$ at this store, I had a prepaid ups label and was told it would be a 4$ charge to print it.......I ship regularly and this store is on average 5$ higher than anyone else, this kind of greed is the reason for the state of affairs here and across our country no one should use this stores services..... read more

4/29 I entered your ups store to complete an Amazon return, this was a complicated return because of Amazon. The manager assisted me. I cannot begin to explain the way that Christopher treated me while I was trying to explain why I had 3 QR codes for one box with 1 item. This person not be in a management position in my opinion. Not only does he not know how to listen but also cannot communicate effectively without a condescending tone and voice. Even on my way out a line had formed and a man in line said loudly that guys an ass hole. I hope this finds the right person because being in a management role for almost 20 years I could not believe his mannerisms and behavior. Completely unnecessary as if he has no patience to do his job and lacking the communication skill set needed when dealing with the public. I will say that after contacting Amazon directly after walking out of your store and explaining what Christopher had said about only being able to process 1 QR code that Elizabeth was very kind and helpful so my return was a success thanks to her. I'm the future I will drive to a different ups store to complete my returns even though your store is less than 5 minutes from my house. Again the level of customer service from Christopher was beyond belief and unnecessary.. enough for another person waiting in line to say exactly what I felt read more

While in the area for work, I needed to print some files from my flash drive. With no office supply store such as Office Depot in town, I was concerned that I would have to drive to High Point or one of the other towns 20-30 miles away for the printing. Fortunately Lexington does have a UPS Store! The couple that were running the store were very friendly. The gentleman was not very computer savvy, but he did figure out how to get the needed files off of my computer and send the print message over to the copier. Pleasant experience. read more

Charging a $2.50 charge to tape a box is right out crazy. Customer service should be consider and the cost of doing business will not break your business for 2 stripes of tape. Spoke with manager Amy and would not budge. Guess it's really bad financially for the local UPS store to provide tape for there customers. read more

Needed a notary public quickly, and send overnight an envelope, I got to do both at the same place. The attendant, who also was the notary public, was friendly and helpful. Price is a different issue, very expensive for an overnight mail...but...you do what you have to do. Notary is $5 per signature. read more

Set up an appointment for a notary with an associate at this store to do an off- site notary for me. They agreed and we scheduled it ( along with 4 other individuals that needed to be present for the notary). After 5 days of it being scheduled they called to say they wouldn't be there due to a "corporate meeting". No apologies given and very rude when called - acted as if it were my fault they couldn't make it. Now I am left, 2 days before scheduled notary- to cancel plans with everyone or find a new notary at last minute. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES DUE TO LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND ORGANIZATION! read more

If I could put zero stars I would. This has been my worst experience doing business anywhere. I had them package something I was going to ship and the store manager packaged it. She charged my card 3 times at over $100 each time. It took me 7 days to get my money back. On top of that I put insurance on it and UPS destroyed my package. My claim was denied on my package because of improper packaging they said. Now I'm out the money. The owner will not return my calls or take my calls. read more

I have been in the store several times when the older couple worked there. Friendly nice and sweet and excellent service. Well today 10-6-2014 at 4pm a young girl with long brown hair and boy short brown hair were in charge of the business . It took almost 2 hours to print a prepaid shipping label, ( I called ahead and asked would it be a problem, was told no problem come ahead.). They insisted I learn how to do this using their slow internet and computers, instead of just simply clicking a few buttons and doing it for me. I used all their computers to attempt this, and was told just hit print, when I did hit print, it said now printing 978 documents. I ran to the counter because their printer was going to town printing, however I was told they would be with me in a minute. Well the printer printed all 978 documents, Their minute was long, and their printer is fast. Yet none were my shipping label. After them insisting I make another attempt to print this label, on their lap top computer and me failing again, minus the printer mishap. Finally the young girl printed my prepaid shipping label. This prepaid shipping, that was not to cost me a thing, cost me 17.25. And a entire forest of trees. They were not busy at the time with customers, so I still can not figure out why they did not simplify a everyday task for them, and make this a easy transaction. We once shipped a lot from this store to a family member across country, but when the store was remodeled and changed hands, shipping prices became too much for us to handle. Now, we ship with USPS. Better pricing, and service is just as good so far. read more

Went to this store to send 2 packages for Christmas and was charged almost double the normal rate - the young "short haired" guy who called himself "Manager" just said that if I didn't pay the extra charges UPS would hold my packages until after 1/1/18 and THEN deliver. Snotty and sarcastic - he must have thought he OWNED UPS. Paid the extra charges (too late to go anywhere else) and am now pursuing a fraud complaint with The UPS Store Corp. in California. After checking UPS on line they DO charge extra (about 3 dollars) and both my boxes were well under the overall dimensions and weight that would allow them to charge an extra $24.00 per box. After getting an estimate of $118 to ship a package, my son was charged $337. Packaging of $145 was tacked on and the owner claims the rate changed overnight so she will not adjust the charges. Additionally, the two trips to there (first for the estimate, second for the shipment) took over 1.5 hours. They're not only slow and inaccurate, they are thieves. read more
