I brought in 3 tablets to be returned to Amazon, along with 3 labels and 3 packing slips, all of which showed and described the item the packing slip was to be included with. Somehow, two of the items were sent to the wrong places. I spent $11.81 for this store to mis-pack my items and send them to the wrong places. And so of course Amazon sent the items back to me, but now I have to pay an additional $5.99 per return to pick them up at a store instead of my home (UPS won't leave packages unattended at an apartment complex). So in all, I've spent $23.79 because a clerk at this location mis-packed my items. Pro-tip: pack your items yourselves. It'll save you money, time, and a headache. read more

I agree with below reviews about very rude customer service. I came in to return two clothing items to Amazon, and walked right up to the counter. John, or maybe it was Joe came right up to the register and fiddled around with things then turned around and walked away without saying anything. Never returned never said anything. Other employee that was sitting at the computer and came up to help me after I asked for it, and said sorry, I thought the other guy was helping you. Just incredibly rude not to say anything at or that I will be right back with you. Owner of the shop should take notice. I will be using the UPS in Gainesville from now on. Probably the most unpleasant shipping center you will ever visit. It's a UPS Store. They have all the usual services... but, the bad vibes we get from the owners cause my wife and I to always weigh the inconvenience of driving out to Gainesville before visiting here. Simply dropping off packages pre-labled and your met with sour looks. Shoot, just walking inside. Don't believe me? Visit anytime... You will likely walk out wishing you drove to Gainesville. He helped me figure out the process of printing out my label on their computer and He also finished boxing up my pkg (that I thought was too big for the box) :). Worst customer services with rude employees. Went in to return a Amazon package one employee was telling the other employee off while there were customers waiting to be helped. Just completely ignored me. Then he was moving super slow like he didn't want to help because it was a retuning something. Will not be going back. read more

This store was super convenient and all staffers are friendly and helpful. When I stopped in, one employee was even notarizing retirement plan documents for a US soldier, going patiently through the materials to ensure accuracy. I do think it is a little pricey but the again, you get what you pay for since it is a UPS and not a USPS. But overall, great experience. read more

I've shipped a lot through them since they opened, many times. Recently however they've had a constant turn over of employee's, some less courteous and knowledgeable then others. Just now, a pkg shipped out of state to an address they already had in their system has became lost and isn't being recorded on the UPS hub side, nor are they able to track it's where abouts in store. That means I am out of pocket for all the goods shipped, plus the cost of UPS ground shipping. Even though a claim was filed, no one from either the store location itself nor UPS itself has bothered to call me back to provide any update, information or apology. I spoke with the manager, but haven't even received a courtesy follow-up. I won't ship with them any longer. That's poor customer service and unacceptable shipping reliability. read more

Horrible. Policy or no, Valerie Butler, assistant manager, was the rudest person I've encountered in the shipping business. When this store opened it was my go to. The owners were wonderful. The new staff was vacuuming and pulling in the sign 15 minutes before closing. When my item was close to what was a prohibited item, all Valerie, and her vacuuming employee wanted to do, was yell at me and point to the exact policy that said she was wrong. By the way, Valerie, yelling "don't yell at me sir" and then proceeding to yell at me and, even worse, allowing your subordinate to yell at me, is a surefire guarantee I'm going to yell at you. Lo and behold, I called UPS Store corporate and explained my situation while driving to Store 5000 in Atlas Walk in gainesville. There we opeNed my package and determined, as was stated in the policy you continuously waved at me but refused to actually read, that my item was NOT a prohibited Item. It is now on its way to its final destination safe and sound, insured and everything, from a UPS Store. As a small business owner in this community for longer than your store has been open I am appalled not only at your customer service, but that a person as rude as Valerie could somehow be given a position of authority. I have no affiliation with either of these two places, but if you need to ship you should absolutely go to store 5000 on atlas walk in Gainesville, or to the FedEx/Kinkos on Sudley Manor drive in Manassas. Yeah it's another 10 minutes in your car. It's totally worth it to avoid the complete lack of professionalism you'll experience at this store. read more

They get the job done and I have had no issues with my packages but the elderly folks running the front have got to be some of the most crotchety people in charge. David G.'s review is spot on; walking in to just drop off package feels like you're being scrutinized for just existing and asking for a receipt seems like the biggest inconvenience. I had a return package that gave me an option to have the UPS store print out my label by scanning a code from my phone and the associate helping me said in a very irritated tone, "I know, I know, you don't need to tell me how to do things". I wasn't telling him how to anything, I was just asking him about it since this was my first time using this service?? I can empathize working in customer facing role and having bad day but I seriously rather take the trek to the Gainesville store than come here. read more

Terrible customer service! Don't use them! They lost my package and repeatedly told me that I have "To UNDERSTAND" that it's the holidays. Well I don't understand! It may be the holidays, but their business is to ship a package from Point A to Point B! I don't care that they are busy! If you went to chic fil a at lunch time and they lost your sandwich, they wouldn't tell you to understand that they are busy and file an investigation for days! I was told that they are opening a claim that can take 8-15 days! She kept telling me that I have to understand that it's the holidays! I told her, I understand that I won't be using UPS to ship any more packages. She hung up on me! But she hasn't heard the last from me, I hope SHE understands that I won't go away until I get my package!!! read more

You often learn about a store by how they handle it when things go astray. I sent a package on Friday for Next Day Delivery without realizing that UPS means Next Business Day. I called to complain and without hesitation, they refunded my money. No questions asked or debate. They simply felt that they had an unhappy customer so they responded appropriately. In truth, it was as much my mistake as anyone's as it clearly says on the package Next Business Day but I was not paying attention. They stepped up to the plate and ate the cost. I have sent a few dozen packages through this store before then without any issues and will now continue to use them for the duration. I like a store that stands behind their service. I have been using this UPS Store since it opened. They have always had great service and it is more convenient than the Gainesville store. Today is the last time I will be using them. I sent out a package from here UPS ground. The person I sent the package to had to send it back to me. When they did they used the return address for this store. I called and they said they would hold it for me. I went to pick up the package and explain to them it was sent by mistake. They did not care and charged me 5 to just pickup a package. What a joke! I often mail packages back to amazon and this ups store is the closest to work. It's the usual business when mailing packages. Where it really shines is the print center. Heidi was extremely helpful along with Ahmed (I hope I got his name right). The images I had them print off were perfectly crisp and done within the timeframe I needed as it was for my kids birthday. Heidi was extremely helpful in getting the events products printed and even emailed me after 7pm to ensure she had the right amount of letters printed (happy birthday Riley and Tobias). She printed a banner for me to review and decide upon. Can not recommend enough. read more

Alex who was the one working there at that time took the time and effort to help me get all my boxes in and also provided me with a world class customer service. It was returned due to a prohibited item - which I listed and the clerk repeated back to me. They never called me to tell me if was waiting for me - I checked on line and it was sitting in the store for 5 days! Didn't get a refund - just a sorry, the clerk forgot to check. I've had a personal mailbox at this location for just over a year and visit this store several times a week. I couldn't be happier with the service. The staff are friendly, well organized and take the time to answer any questions. I have used similar services at other locations. They are heads above any of the rest.
