The worst customer service. The 2 employees there don't know how threat paying customer and of course since their manager is not there they have the worst attitude don't come to this office ever. The don't wear name badges and went asking for name to be able to let corporate know about their bad treat to customer the denied to provide it and the don't even provide store location. I have been a customer of FedEx and gone to multiple locations and this is the first location that provides the worst customer service experience. Rude inefficient and incompetent. You can tell the really don't want to be there but are just there for a pay check not understanding they have a pay check cuz of the customer who come in for service. They need better trained employees and employees who actually understand the job and want to be there. I was having a good day until I went here and received attitude from them. For No reason just for asking for tape to seal A FedEx envelope that I was going to ship through them We are not talking about even being serve or weight or Charges or anything just said may I have a piece of tape to seal the FedEx Envelope I'm send for extra security and the lady went off no we don't provide that you have to buy a roll for that and a bunch of other things which I'm Not sure what she was saying seem Like she was not 100% relay her msg in English properly. I always send those envelopes at different FedEx locations across the region and for extra security I always place a strip of Tape across the seal part and never ever had issues or Been cursed for what it seems a foreign language speaker and told I need a to buy the whole roll and is not about the roll but the way and attitude given if FedEx has changed is quite simple as someone who works with the public I tend to defuse and on the personal level not give attitude to those who Work with the public. Simply they could have said sir dude bro I like to assist with the request but we now have a new directive and not able to provide without a charge by buying it a roll from the wall. And awesome I would have understood since they only work there and follow orders from corporate. But that was not the case. It was about 5:00 pm in the afternoon - and there was a bit of a line - there were about 10 people in line in front of me. After a bit, I finally got to the counter, handed my package to the FedEx staffer - and was good to go. Since starting my own business last year, I've been to this location at least 100 times. The staff is always friendly, not just to me but every interaction I've seen. A few months ago they installed a self-service "kiosk" for scanning in your own packages and/or to print labels. This seems to have alleviated lines as I rarely see a line anymore. Further, the team is almost always at or near the self-serve to help and get me in and out super quick. I really appreciate the extra mile this location goes! read more

It's the closest office to my home otherwise I'd never ever use them. Been there four times and every time there's an issue. Last time I brought a package that was prepaid and just needed a receipt. It was going to PA. Checked tracking later that day and tracking said it was already delivered ... to Manassas...where I'd dropped it off just hours earlier! Most recently I brought three heavy boxes of dishes to be topped off with foam 'peanuts.' When I said I wanted to insure each of them, the woman seemed agitated and even though each dish was bubble wrapped she insisted that it all be re wrapped and reboxed. After clicking away on her computer she told me it would cost $450!! I left. Nervous, I did double up on the bubble wrap and insured each box for $1000. Online. Total cost was just under $40 per box. Rude, inefficient and incompetent. Maybe UPS would be better. Better trained employees are needed. read more

NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD. Walked into this location after work to drop off some overnight packages at their drop-off - and because I was in a rush and carrying many packages, I accidentally dropped my phone into the drop off along with the packages. (Stupid me). I walked up to the desk and told LUI (great guy! No complaints at all) what was going on.. and after calling my phone to confirm it had fallen in, he informed me that the only person able to open the box was the FEDEX pickup man.. at 7:45 PM. I understood his hands were tied - but I tried reaching into the drop off box to se if maybe I could reach for my phone that way anyway - which was OBVIOUSLY a lost cause. At this point another employee, an African American female who took off her name tag later on and refused to give her name YELLED at me from behind the counter - and accused me of ATTEMPTING TO "BREAK INTO the metal drop off box. She began having an argument with me after I told her she didn't know what was going on - and to lower her tone with me - mimicking what I was saying and "whisper yelling" profanity behind other employees and covering the sides of her mouth with her hands. The sorry excuse for a Mananger came out and explained (while she continued to yell at me and accuse me of "breaking in" ) that this was above her, and that she was only the assistant manager and could not do anything about the situation. After about 10 minutes of arguing with me and yelling profanity at me , and me begging this AWFUL "Assistant Mananger" to explain to her employee that I had just dropped my phone Into the metal bin - I went to my car and waited an hour for 7:45 to arrive. At 7:30 I walked into the store again when the "Pickup man" came to empty the bin, at which point he proceeded to empty and load the ENTIRE VAN - leaving the metal bin for last while I sat behind the counter waiting for him to finish and while I was ignored by the staff. It was obvious that he had been filled in with what had occurred, and was going out of his way to take his time. Around 8:15 , once he had done EVERYTHING else he had to do, he walked over and removed my phone from inside the bin. To clarify. The company that I work for has a VERY CLOSE relationship with fedex, and we spend many thousands of dollars a month on shipments going across the USA. The level of unprofessionalism from this location is absurd. If you come here don't expect to be treated with respect - and don't expect any management to try to even de escalate the situation. Will let my company know to go out of our way to not use this location anymore , and will be formally complaining to fedex as well - sending them the recordings of the incident. read more

I don't know where to start... let me just say I've had multiple issues with them not providing any tracking for my packages, but the biggest issue was a driver throwing our package like a frisbee... and they had the audacity to ring our bell, which left me stunned because I couldn't find the package so I thought they took it with them. NO they frisbee tossed my packed to the side of my house, and I found it TWO DAYS later... btw it was from my dads job so it was important. read more

I agree with all other comments; the customer service here is lacking & needs significant work. I use the services quite a bit, and I regularly see one particular employee working here treat her customers like sub-human beings (in particular the customers who speak English as their second language). Customer questions are treated like inconveniences, rather than her job to answer. (Here's a hint for you, if you're reading this: saying "please" and "thank you" might be nice every once in a while). It's actually pretty uncomfortable to watch. However, there is one guy that works there that saves the branch; he's very good at his job and has superior people skills. Horrible experience!!! I went in to use a computer to print three documents. The first two were one page each. They took longer than I expected and one that I sent as Legal Size printed as Letter Size so the important part of the document was cut off. The last document was bigger (14 pages) and I wanted two (2) copies. ...so I waited for that one, and nothing would print. The FedEx charges were growing--I checked and saw I was being charged for everything I asked for. I called an employee over to help. She randomly pushed buttons and after a while the first copy printed. So I waited for the second copy and nothing happened. More time was added to my bill and I called the employee over again. She thought she fixed it again and walked away. More time. I talked to a different clerk and he couldn't fix it so he offered to make the 2nd copy on a regular copier and give me a credit. My 3 documents by that time cost me $53.00 and he only offered $11.00 credit. I checked my bank account today and saw they made an unauthorized $10.00 charge. DON'T USE THEM EVER!!! I could've bought a cheap printer, used it, and threw it away for what I paid FedEx. read more

This is the worst location I have ever been to. Not only do they not greet you when you walk in, but they never come by to see what you need. You have to figure it out on your own. Not to mention they are SUPER slow! I waited about 40 mins just to have an item shipped out. Terrible. Absolutely awful. Take the extra 10 mins to go to a different location. Not to mention I witnessed the older gentleman (George I think) yell at a customer, called her crazy and told her that he was doing her a favor by helping her. Completely screwed up my print order in multiple ways, BUT, they did fix it immediately when I came to pick it up, so I wouldn't have to come back - although I did have to wait 45 minutes while they rushed the job through, pushing everything else they were working on for other customers back in the queue. Why did I not read these reviews first?!? I dropped a package here to ship out my mother in California. After I paid and left, I somehow managed to lose the receipt. I was told it would take 4 days to get there so after 5 days had gone by, I started to get a little worried. I called FedEx who can track it by address, but they said they have nothing going to that address. The customer service rep told me to call the FedEx Office that shipped it to see if I could get the tracking number from them, which I did. When I first called, I was told I couldn't speak to a manager, but then, after being put on hold, someone named Erin picked up the phone. Erin was the probably the nastiest person I have ever spoken to on the phone. Before I could even get the complete question out, she interrupted me and just kept talking. Every time I tried to interject, she just interrupted me making it perfectly clear what she couldn't do for me. I don't know if she was just having a bad day or what, but yikes, this woman was off the hook. When she finally did stop talking, even her breathing sounded like I was annoying her. I later called FedEx again (the customer service rep there was awesome, btw) and he called over there to see if they would help him. They wouldn't. He told me they wouldn't even try to look anything up for him and he actually sounded surprised. In they end, no one can find the package. FedEx has no record of anything scheduled to be delivered to that address or even being shipped to that address within the last couple of days and the store that I shipped it from won't help at all. I am so frustrated. I went in to make simple double-sided copies and I will never return. I purchased my own colored cardstock and asked if the copiers were capable of running the cardstock through. Associate 1 (A1) asked the manager and was told yes. I said I had to make double copies and the manager said "Be sure to rotate so one is upside down and the other is right side up." Yeah, that's not what I asked for, it made the first copy upside down. Anyway, after A1 finally got the machine figured out, I can only assume she is new because she was nice so I will not blame her, I started to copy. Every copy was either crooked or had a black line running across it at the top. The machine was constantly jamming. After I got through about half of the copies I needed, I gave up. I proceeded to the counter to ask for a refund of the 14 busted copies that came out of the machine. This associate, A2, said "We cannot give you a refund if you closed out your card on the machine." That's a ridiculous policy, if they just looked at the copies, multiplied it by the cost and gave me my money back then it would have been fine. Instead she offered to take 14 more pieces of my colored cardstock to the machine they have behind the counter and make me new ones. When finished, they weren't crooked but letters were cut off on the side. I pointed it out to her and she said, "I don't know why it did that, I'll ask the manager." I had shown her that my copies had no letters cut off. She tells the manager what the issue is and the manager said, "The words are too close to the edge. She needs to make it wider." A2 replied, "Her other copies don't have any letters cut off." Manager responds, "Well the machine shouldn't have done that because they aren't supposed to." A2 just stood there, the manager gave her no direction, no assistance, made us both feel like a nuisance. The manager wouldn't even look at me. When A2 returned to the counter she just looked at me helpless and I left. Now I am out 28 pieces of my colored cardstock that I had to pay extra for, mind you I didn't use their paper but I got charged as if I did. FedEx Corporate AND Kinkos Corporate will be hearing from me. I'm out almost $46 for this mess and I will get my money back. read more

Let me just say I am SHOCKED by the previous bad reviews. After visiting another Fedex office location last night, I gave this one a try tonight. Sonu helped me with my graduation announcements and my party invites in 1/4 the time of the other location. Answered all my questions & explained everything step by step. Upon finishing I was informed I would be able to pick up tomorrow which was fine - so I went across the street for dinner. Half way through dinner I received a phone call from Sonu asking if I was still at dinner because my order was already complete and he hoped he could catch me in time to save me the trip tomorrow! I have normally had good service from this FedEx Office but the other day, I went in to just drop off a prepaid package. There were six customers waiting on line and the one at the front was having a lot of trouble putting together their packages. The real issue is that there was one (yes only one) employee on duty. This is a large facility and that is completely unacceptable. People were waiting on line, seeing it was going to take forever and then leaving. FedEx, wake up! You need more thane employee to properly service such a large busy location. read more

As someone who used this FedEx back in my high school days 5 years ago, I use to have nothing but great things to say about the service. I now make sure to completely avoid it. The service is terrible--if you can even get someone's attention despite how empty the store usually is--and forces you to use the kiosks. Now I don't mind technological service compared to human but the fact you're forced to use this thing that charges you by the minute is irritating. Especially when you have no idea what you're doing and have to flag someone down (which of course wastes more time and costs you more money to wait for these people in an /empty store/). Last time I went this happened to me and, before the timer could start charging me, I just decided to take my card back and walk to the Office Depot across the street. Needless to say, the service there was infinitely better. I got in and out quickly with quality printed things. The lesson is just use the nearby Office Depot. read more

I have to get a lot printed for my Graphic Design associates degree program. I keep going to kinkos because it is near were I live and I almost always regret it. They have one guy over there that is good and I think he use to work at another more reputable print shop before working there. The staff is trying to do print jobs and get fedex packages at the same time, and the result of that is poor. I got an attitude from one of the guys when I tried to get a file printed, three weeks ago and had all sorts of trouble getting 3 files printed. They wanted me to use the computers there to get my stuff printed. (PS. You have to pay for every minute your on there computer and the print job and if I wanted something printed off a regular printer I would just print it off my home computer). Two weeks ago they screwed up a print job and I had to have half the job printed at office depot. The color difference between there printing and kinkos cost me a letter grade. I brought in one pdf file with 3 pages, one letterhead, one business card, one envelope design. I had them all printed on 11 x 17 because they had a bleed. I tried to keep it as simple as possible for them by making it one file. It should not be that hard to just print one 3 page pdf on 11x17. I checked everything but the last page when I went to check out, I admit, my fault. The last page was all messed up, it did not resemble the file I sent them at all. The logo (which should have been in the right upper corner) was in the center of the page and all the text was gone!?! But that was not the worst of it. I went to open the file off the thumb drive I gave them. (The thumb drive only had a folder with that one file on it, trying to keep it simple for them) The file was gone. The folder was still there, but they DELETED my file. Fortunatly I am not folish enough to give them my only copy. I have just got to find another place to get stuff printed! read more

I needed to overnight a document today. I usually go to UPS near the Prince William Hospital, but I wanted to save on time and gas, that's why I went to this Fedex branch instead. I regretted that decision. The Fedex staff seemed to be busy doing something at the back and would rather do whatever it is they're doing than help their customers. There was only one person at the counter, and she was already busy helping out another customer. She yells out to the other staff, that somebody needs help. They finally emerge from the back, 3 other ladies. Meantime, a gentleman needed help with the photocopying and instead of a staff going near him and helping him out, the staff yells out the instructions from across the room. Poor gentleman probably felt it was too much for him, just left. My turn came, after filling out the envelope and handing over my card for swiping, the lady says - it won't authorize. I call my bank to find out what the problem is, they said they need to put in the zip. The staff disappears. I waited for several minutes. I tell another lady to put in the zip, she said no we don't have to do that. All they do is put in the 3 digit number at the back. My bank says, no they do not need that 3 digit number. So , I waited for the lady who originally attended to me, and asked her how exactly she was putting in the information and if she can try it again this time with the zip code - she says - "no, I'm off the clock". Wow! So they just left me standing there. That lady who was "off the clock" did not even turn me over to another staff. I thought that was really rude. Finally, a male staff who just came in and was actually helping another customer said let me try it. He at least had the decency to say I'm sorry the card won't authorize. The card still won't go thru. Exasperated, I go to the Office Depot across the street. - the card worked fine. I gave feedback to my bank and told them my card worked at Office Depot, and she said that she found that Fedex's payment system auto fills in their Head Office's zip code, and that the staff should have known what to do to resolve the issue, which is to put in the zip code for the credit card. Some probably know about that quirk because I've used my card at this Fedex branch before and it worked, but the team who was working that day - either they just didn't know what to do or they just plain didn't care. After seeing how the staff there work and treats their customers and their co-workers - I'm not inclined to go back there anymore. Especially now that I know I could go to Office Dept instead where the people are more helpful. read more

if customers weren't complete idiots i'd say this location has its issues. but i could write a book on how idiotic the people that walk in here are. they'll walk in and go immediately to the counter. there are signs EVERYWHERE. they go to the counter and ask if they have computers, which they do, with a giant neon sign reading computer services as well as a sign hanging below that which says computer services. customers walk behind the counter when they clearly shouldn't (things block the way behind etc). customers come in and ask to have something blown up to 24x36 from a file that's only 3in x 2in and wonder why it comes out looking like shit. come on people it's common sense. if you blow something up 8 times its normal size it's not going to look crystal clear. the self service copiers have instructions on them detailing how to do EVERYTHING. it even says push start to start the copier. how much simpler can it get? i don't know how the people who work here do it. if i was them i'd get really pissed off at about 90% of the people walking in there. but it's retail what are you going to do. i commend the employees at this location for not snapping at every person who walks through the door. read more
