UPS has the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with. They do the best they can to prevent you from getting a person on the phone. I shipped 37 boxes with them in September. one was lost. one was missing a really nice tool box, that rest looked like someone had dropped them from a 10 story building onto a cement sidewalk. They want you to go through the process of filing complaints, which I did and I got back inane questions from a bot. It took a long time before I finally got someone to email me - not call me --- email me. I told him my frustrations and he apologized and pushed my payments through and tracked them. Now I am trying to pay my bill and they want to charge me a $50 handling fee to put it on my credit card. I have been trying to get a person on the phone who could approve that but they just keep transferring me to different departments. I will never, ever use UPS again.... and this is not even counting all of the hidden costs that I was charged.... they are the worst. Don't use them. read more

I'm in Tucson and needed a microscope(large) picked up and crated. Daniel and his team responded quickly and efficiently. The microscope arrived in tact and safely. When returning an item to Amazon, being shipped UPS and arrived UPS, they actually charged me $1 to tape the top of the box. And my previous visit charged $2.50 to print the label. Ridiculous, customer service has gone extinct. They are being paid to ship the item and UPS charges are high as it is. Nickel and diming customers is GREAT! read more

DO NOT have them box the items for you. All my Christmas gifts arrived broken and shattered after they "packed" the items and charged me $167 to mail 2 packages. Very disappointed and then to find out the shipping place near Aggieville Is cheaper and will actually use bubble wrap and packing materials to protect your items & not just throw them in a box, was infuriating. Would NOT recommend using this place for anything. read more

Totally horrible customer service and price gouging- beware! I don't own a printer. This summer when I was returning packages at UPS in Austin, I would put my return label on a jump drive and print at the store. A page cost 9 cents there, but sometimes the staff did not charge me because they were kind. Today I put my amazon return label on a jump drive and drove with my package to the UPS store. I asked if I could print my label from the jump drive. The associate said, "It costs $2.00 just to use the computer and then 10 cents per page." I told her I don't need to use the computer except to put my jump drive in and press print, and she said too bad. I told her how the UPS store in Austin charged only for the one page to print, and she said, "Each store is independently owned so we can do whatever we want with prices." I told her she was ridiculous and walked out. Unfortunately, she was wearing a Texas Longhorns shirt which offended me because I am a Longhorn and we don't treat people that way. I just wanted to print my label so I could return my package, and now I have to figure out another way how. When I do, I will be taking my package to Candlewood Frame Shop which accepts UPS packages so I don't have to step foot in this nasty "independently owned" shop or give them any money. This is a college and military town; why are they charging people to touch the computer so they can print a page?! read more

Go to Fedex in Aggieville. I had to ship a package in-town and they couldn't even figure out how to do that, and wanted to make me pay to pick it up. If you're not satisfied they'll send you in the 1-800 customer service loop where you'll never have your problem solved. Go to Fedex. read more

I wanted to commend one of the employees at this location... Brandon. He has such great customer service skills and is truly an asset. My interaction with him started with a phone call inquiring about services and requests and that's where his "customer first, can do" attitude began plus he gave me fair warning about that evening rush. When I made it into the store, I had some issues with paperwork we needed notarized and he was very helpful and patient while waiting for me to make a call and being stuck on hold for over 15 mins. He had to do things differently for us and made it happen. (Luckily, the store didn't appear too busy and it was nice that there were several staff members... so I'm thinking his helpfulness to us didn't deter from others). After we left, my husband pointed out he was the same employee who helped him the last time he was there and how he had advised my husband to pack up gift cards differently to ship more safely. He is genuinely a great guy and is a pleasure to interact with at the store. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! Totally BAD Customer service. I needed 3 color copies printed. Was told they charge $0.39 per color print. I gave them a flash drive to print the onw file from. They printed 3 copies of the 1 page PDF doc. They rang up $3.49! Whaaaat? There is a $2.00 computer fee! SO, THEY CHARGE $1.15 FOR COLOR COPIES WHEN IT IS ALL SAID AND DONE. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I drop off packages at this UPS Store whenever I need to return items from online shopping. The staff is great about asking if I want a receipt! There is a bit of a wait around lunch time and 6 PM, but the service is efficient. read more

I've always been a USPS kinda person but due to circumstance and the terrible USPS in Manhattan I was forced to go to UPS. Fortunately, I had a really positive experience. The lady who worked there was very kind and was really helpful in getting my packages to where they needed to be. Despite how expensive it was, it was definitely easy. read more

When I asked her a question she ignored me and pretended to be doing something else. The manager of this location is extremely rude. Each time I try to drop something off for a DHL pickup the story changes on how the process works. The first time I took something in they took the envelope and acted like I was putting them out. The second time I was told that it would be a good 2-3 days before my envelope was picked up because they didn't have time to call it in. (DHL website specifies same day service if dropped off by a certain time.) The third attempt ended in my taking the envelope back and scheduling a pickup from my place of business after I was told that pickup would not happen for possibly 2-3 WEEKS because I had to schedule the pick up from their location. (The UPS Store) Otherwise it would sit and wait until another customer scheduled a pickup. I will pay the extra pick up fee from DHL to not have to deal with Cheryl again. read more
