When they were finally done (over a month) the cards were a very different color and they never told me. I never got to come in and look at a prototype like in the past. Also they only printed half my usual order, the earring tags and not my business card as they said they would. Then they charged me nearly 500.00 with half my order done. After multiple attempts to contact him via phone and email, there was no luck. When I asked him today why he didn't reply to our email or communicate with us, he immediately got defensive and angry. When I didn't back down from his anger and continued to point out his lack of customer service and professionalism, he told me to f*ck off and get out. Word on the street is that he's got anger issues. I've done business there for about 15 years, but have never had to deal with him. After today, I would not recommend this place to anyone!

The bad experience wasn't about the convenience charge. It was 100% about the way I was treated. The person was rude and had an attitude, like I was an inconvenience coming in. I was not even greeted with hello. I was just told that I owed $2 and then was charged $3. Not even a thank you or thanks for coming in when I left. Next time I will drop off directly at Fed ex.

After…read morelearning about the UP's (i.e. Michigan's Upper Peninsula) history, my interest grew and I began looking for some UP merch prior to an actual visit in person. Online, I came across Yooper Shirts. Since my ordering experience was so good, I thought I'd add this review! I was impressed when I called to inquire about sizes; the customer service was really friendly via the phone and they double checked some sizes and explained the fit to me. I placed an order and my only real caveat might have been the prices at first since they were a bit above average. My order arrived very quickly to California in just a few days. The sweatshirt I received was top-notch quality and I really liked the design--these elements, high quality material and designs, are definitely the strong suits of Yooper Shirts (pardon the pun). And, I could see why they might charge a bit more too. In person, once I got to their store on my visit, I was able to visit and see many more cool items besides the sweatshirts I had purchased. I read a bit about Yooper Shirts' history and found out it's a real local gem: They apparently began in Ishpeming, (say that 3 times quickly), and, over the years, grew into printing their own merchandise for clothing and opening a retail location in downtown Marquette. I definitely support small businesses like this and the small town atmosphere they organically grow in.
