DON'T USE THIS STORE! The owner of the store (Michael) just told me to "F___ myself and have a nice life you a__hole." THIS IS HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE - YOU CURSE AT THEM! SHAME ON YOU! I shipped two boxes containing painting from this store. Michael, the owner, wants me to make sure that I state that the boxes were not wrapped by his store personnel - OK. I had them PROFESSIONALLY wrapped by another store. One box arrived in perfect condition. The other box - DESTROYED. It arrived unwrapped without any of the original package that was done by the other store. I was told "we aren't responsbile." The store managerat the McLean store (Brian) called the UPS center in San Francisco. He was told that another box was dropped on our package and the contents were "damaged." I asked the McLean store owner (Michael) to not charge me for the shipping of the painting that was destroyed. I was told "I was screwing the little guy - Michael -the owner - of the UPS store in McLean. My beef was with UPS - not him. What about my painting? What? REALLY. REALLY! The owner acted like a jerk. He told me his customers are Congressmen, Senators, Kings and Queens." He told me "I didn't deserve his help with UPS then proceeded to curse at me." Well, I'm a regular customer who was shipping a family painting. You certainly didn't treat me with any respect or dignity. My family is the one that suffered. read more

When I read the earlier "not-so-good" reviews I was really taken back by the comments, and so much so, that I had to add my opinion. Every time I have gone in there, the staff is very professional, extremely helpful, and can't do enough for the customer. Never once have I seen them disrespectful, and I can't imagine them making the hideous comments by a couple of the earlier reviewers. Also, they have many spots to park right in front of the store, so it is handy to bring in items especially larger ones. read more

Never have had an issue at this UPS unlike some of the reviews. Staff has offered before to help me carry boxes I have purchased back to my car, always try to find the most economical way to ship my package if I need them to box up for me etc. Great staff, parking is my only complaint with the ever growing Tyson's Corner area which is out of their control. read more

Good luck finding a place to park. And, they charge $1 per box to tape it for you. If you have to return something to Amazon or Comcast, this is NOT the UPS location you are looking for. read more

This is really a one stop shop! I had china to pack & ship, papers to get notarized and a few items to return, they were very helpful and courteous. I didn't know they did all of this! My china was safely cushioned and the boxes arrived in 2 days!!! :) After notarizing my paperwork the gentleman offered to mail it for me to save me a trip to the post office (he even put the postage on it when I didn't have stamps!) and reminded me to make a copy beforehand - just in case. I got receipts for everything and I even got the tracking information for the china in my email. Definitely recommend this store to everyone! You don't see service like this in a lot of places, I don't think I'll ever go to the post office again! =D read more

I dropoff returns that Amazon sends UPS prepaid labels for. Some are HIGH value items and I always got a "dropoff" receipt. Now I am told by the staff that they will NO longer provide dropoff receipts since they don't earn a fee on prepaid UPS parcels. SHAME on YOU, UPS franchisee, you save 1cent on a dropoff receipt and in the process don't allow me to get a proof of dropoff. So, if my package goes missing and is never in the system, who pays? Please rethink this misguided policy. read more

Don't forget to insure your package against THEFT by UPS employees!!! My package of Christmas gifts to family was delivered as an empty box. It had been opened up, gifts stolen and box taped back up again with only torn wrapping paper left inside. The box never left the UPS tracking system, arrived a couple of days past the guaranteed delivery date, and the driver handed essentially an empty box to my father. I did receive the standard $100 after filing a claim, but was much less than the value of the items and the amount of my claim. I would have been less upset if the package was lost or damaged, but to have everything stolen is a CRIME. Didn't think I needed to insure my package for theft by UPS employees. Disappointingly, no sympathy from Brian. I had to re-purchase all of my holiday gifts to family and ship everything again via FedEx. :( read more

Save your self the headache. They are the most ridiculous and I mean ridiculous company I have ever encountered. You are better off with USPS or DHL.The WORST and I mean the WORST service and customer service I have ever seen. They sent my package all over the place other than its final destination and did not deliver it on the 29th like the representative promised. And every time I called them, they told me 20 different things. No one knew where my package was and when it would be delivered. And then finally after days of calling them and being on the phone with them for more than 30 minutes, one rep told me that it wasn't going to be delivered and that the receiver would have to pick it up. They made my customer reschedule her plans so that she can go pick up the package days after it was supposed to be delivered. Two representatives told me to request a refund for the horrible mix up and so I did. And guess what? They got back to me a couple days ago saying that they can't process a refund because the package was sent between December 11-24 and that UPS doesn't guarantee delivery between those dates. WHAT?? RIDICULOUS!!! Why in the world would I ship it through them if i knew that they don't guarantee delivery and that it wouldn't arrive by the 29th of Dec.?? No body said anything to me about not having it be delivered on time until after the fact. In fact, the reps told me it will be delivered prior to 29th. And then they say "ohhh its written on our website and also in our store" The package was shipped on the 17th of Dec and my customer had to pick it up from another carrier on the 31st of December. RIDICULOUS!!!! They made me look so bad in front of my customer and wasted my time. Now she is probably not going to ever return to my online store. Disconnected organization. The reps don't know what they are talking about and just tell you random things so that they can get rid of you quick. Never and I mean NEVER shipping through them again and I advise you all to do the same. They just lost a loyal customer. And from the looks of other people's post on here, it seems like I am not the only one who has had horrible experience with them. read more
