My package was to arrive to me on 7/31/24 in Memphis, tracking shows it arrived to the Memphis hub on Carrier at 4:35 am, then a destination scan at 9:17 & 9:36 am. I never got the package, I went to the UPS Carrier hub on 8/2/24 to see if I could pick it up and the guy at the desk said that it's still on the trailer, those scans on show that the truck that my package is on arrived and they have 3-4 trailers with thousands of packages in each one to unload. I asked, so you're telling me people are paying for next day shipping and you still have thousands of packages not even unloaded. I asked to speak with a supervisor, he said she's going to tell you the same thing, we don't have anyone that's going to go thru a whole trailer of thousands of packages just to get your package, you should have it by Monday 8/5/24. Today is Sunday, tracking still hasn't changed, he also said ahh they'll give your money back, I need to get my line down now. This was an extremely important package and they don't give a care!!! Last night, we arrived 15 min after the store closed. The door was locked, and two ladies were in the store closing up for the night. We were going back to our car, and one lady came out in the cold and opened back up to take our package! You never see customer service like that anymore. Thank you SO much! read more

This store has really low ratings, but honestly they have helped me in multiple binds. Jordan, in particular, is really great. Basically, I ordered a queen-sized bedframe but it came as a full. I had already thrown out the boxes, and had a bunch of pieces (VERY large and small) that needed to be returned. I got everything in the back of a truck, brought it here and was not expecting to be helped too much, even though I had a pre-paid label. Jordan checked it out, told me he would take apart the rest to make it even more compact, and would make sure to order boxes and contact me when he was able to send the pieces back to the company. He helped me unpack the truck and everything. Knocked a star for lack of parking, but I'm not sure how much control the franchise has over that. read more

Zero stars, pulled up at 7:55, it's 8:15 and still not open. I guess they don't care about peoples time.

If I could give no stars I would. I just struggled with two huge boxes, and granted, it was just after closing - but there were two guys still at the counter... they did not open the door. And the boxes were prepaid - so all they had to do was keep them till the next day when the truck would pick up. USPS or FedEx will get my biz from now on. read more

Kara at this store has been a god send. We had to send several packages to the British embassy to get a student visa for our daughter and there were issues on what we left out of the package which would have caused delays in getting the visa approved. Kara helped us cancel delivery while package was in route, get it returned to Memphis and reshipped. She knew exactly what to do when any issue came up and was so calm and professional. She has also educated us on the rules of shipping items to England The customer service provided by Kara is the best I could have asked for during a stressful time read more

Service is hit or miss depending on who is working. Some employees charge for Amazon labels and some don't, so I have no idea what is the correct policy. The parking is atrocious. It is narrow and shares space with a restaurant. If you arent careful you may find yourself blocking in another car or hanging a little in the street. Which on Union is not the best idea. read more

Poor customer service. A white overweight female with black hair (worker) needs to take training in customer service. She allowed a Fed Ex employee (a customer) to walk in front of me whom was standing in line waiting to be helped. So two businesses need to train their employees. One UPS for not saying "I think she was next to the Fed Ex employee who jumped line" and two the Fed Ex Employee who thought he was privileged enough to jump in front of line. Needless to say my business will go to United States Postal as they know how to take the next one in line. Very very very rude behavior on both their parts. Go elsewhere. read more

Although I appreciate the response of management, it doesn't exonerate the deplorable customer service I received while in the store. Using the UPS name as a franchise seems like a good idea, but the relationship seems confusing at best. Who is responsible for what? I've picked up packages there which had door tags in identical scenarios. read more

In my experience the store employees have been incredibly polite, efficient, and helpful. Interesting how other reviewers seem so negative about picking up their packages here ...that is after all a FREE service. I went here the other day to pick up a package that I missed from ups. So I'm driving down union which is too freakin congested as it is and no one seems to know how to drive anymore. I get to my destination and I have to turn in mind you it's 12 noon and the traffic is horrendous. So I'm sitting there and there is no turning lane to get in to turn and on top of that the ups store on union have 2 parking spaces in front of the store like what the hell. So I finally make it to turn in and I have to park in front of T-Mobile and I was so done after that like how do you not have a lot of customer parking you guys are basically an extension of ups what the hell. So I make it in the store and I give the lady my slip that ups left me she's looking at the slip crazy af like she was in the twilight zone. I wonder if the eclipse had anything to do with it but back to it. Now she finally snaps out of it and proceeds to look for my package which in my opinion took too long for her to find. You are supposed to have packages in alphabetical order so you can find them easier so customers can be on their way but not at this ups store. I hope I never have to go back there. read more
