The atmosphere was not welcoming , the lack of attention for customers not helpful,short staffed , line was beyond long and could've been shorter if customers had more knowledge on how to use the self serve kiosk. They need to implement employees directing customers to use it and giving guidance on that. Hidden fees, everything is so expensive nowadays and I'm on a tight budget so knowing before wasting my time would be appreciated being charged for prints when I could've printed it out at the library for FREE. The staff at this UPS store works on their own time and schedule. You can clearly see the hours of operation attached. The employees at this location decided to lock their doors 15 minutes before the scheduled close time. There were only a few people In line when I arrived at 4:47pm. Very unprofessional and unorganized!! The gentlemen in the front with the receding hairline (couldn't get his name, as he wouldn't open the door or acknowledge the customers waiting out front) needs to be trained on how to work properly and efficiently in high traffic location such as Miami Gardens. Very disappointed in the lack of effort from this location and its employees. Do better. read more

I have been coming to this store often. Dealing with a lot of shipping, printing, and office work, no matter that they charge extra from USPS. I loved their customer service until this Saturday. I went inside and printed a label for shipment of the item. I have asked the lady over the counter to extra check and maybe add tape on my package just to make sure that is properly labeled and she refused no matter that she did the same thing for a customer before me in front of my eyes. When I have asked her why, she said she is not supposed to do it. The ugly fact is, she knew I am Coming there often and I know she has recognized me. I looked at her and just left, realizing that I am leaving this store for the last time. They have lost a customer. read more

Do not take your Amazon returns to this location! If you do, just print your own label and place your items in a box before heading here! The whole idea of them scanning your QR code and just taking your item is no longer the case as it once was. What they are doing now is forcing customers to pay for a box or envelope to put the return in when what they are supposed to be doing is throwing the items in what is called a polly bag for FREE! Even if you point out the fact that there is a sign on the door that says to have your code ready and they will do the rest, they will go back and forth with you about why you owe them $1.77 to accept your return! The sign on the door says is all caps: "NO BOX NEEDED." But they try their best to convince you that one is needed. I even called their corporate office to get clarification. The gentleman that I spoke with to tried telling me that they have to charge me for printing the label. That's not true! Even the clerk told me that if I come back with a small box then she wouldn't charge me anything. So they want you to pay for packaging instead of using the free Polly bags!!! It's so very clear! The guy at corporate tried his best to convince me that it's not a scam to get money. He even said to ask them to put it in a poly bag himself, which further proved my theory that they are trying to dupe Amazon customers out of money. It makes no sense at all! Do not fall for this dirty little trick! I use to drop off Amazon returns here with no problem all the time. Now they've gone and implemented this little trick! Never again! read more

I recently had a claim dispute with UPS #5800 which was not resolved to my satisfaction & ended in a material loss for me. As I lack evidence to prove my stance there's no point in airing the details here. What I can legitimately Yelp about however, is what UPS #5800 put me through to reach ANY resolution. The employees - either by design or incompetence - are virtually inaccessible. 29 out of 30 phone calls go straight to music with no message to assure you they will ever be answered. I held multiple times - once for 15 minutes - until concluding this must be a deliberate tactic to avoid customer contact. The manager, Edgar Guzman, initially relatively helpful, became completely unresponsive to my emails. I live in a different state, so visiting the store was out. Eventually, I was forced to educate myself on UPS franchises, contact the UPS Franchise Customer Relations department to find the name of the owner, to hunt for David Zinn on the internet and contact him via social media. This felt grossly inappropriate and invasive, but as the store was impossible to reach, I was left with no choice. The legal owner of the store is in fact not Mr. Zinn, but a family member. I had enough empathy and sensitivity to omit that person from the communication loop. Sadly, after hours of my time trying to simply speak to someone, I wasn't treated with the same decency. read more

Beware of add-on charges. I shipped a medium size box with a weight of maybe 10 pounds to NY. They priced it at 57 dollars, I thought that was a bit pricey but I don't ship a lot of items of this weight and size via ups so I just went with it. A few days later I shipped a much larger box with a weight of 65 pound to the same address but this time I did it directly from the UPS depot in Hialeah and I was charged 71 dollars. So a package that weights 6 times as much and 3 times the size via the same ground shipping is only 14 dollars more? There seems to be a serious markup when you ship items via the UPS store. read more

The two men at the desk spent more time joking around with each other and their friends than helping customers not to mention one of them had an almost standoffish attitude. The real issue was that the cost to ship a package was almost double the estimate I received (these things happen) and one of the employees was exceptionally rude when I asked if there was a cheaper option available.
