I sent 2 packages out for Christmas to Lincoln NE and Denver CO. The Lincoln package made it on time however the Denver package had some issues and was returned to the Midland UPS Store. As I was tracking this package I noticed it was coming back and was going to call the Midland store to see what happened. BEFORE I could do that, the owner Annie, called me and reported an error in entering the address. Without me asking, Annie took it upon herself to send it 2 day shipping to Denver at her expense and apologized profusely for the mishap. This package will arrive before Christmas. I could not say enough for the customer service. Not only saving me a phone call, but saving me the anguish of having to ask what they are going to do for me to get this package delivered. Mistakes at the busy front counter happen especially around Christmas but the resolve was 5*. read more

First time a UPS store has ever charged me to print a one page Amazon return label ($1.50) The lady (long red hair) was very rude and ignorant. Was snappy about my box not already being taped. For someone who rarely ever returns anything, this is a perfect example of why I avoid doing it all cost. read more

Everyone here is consistently friendly and helpful. We often ship from this store and have never had a single issue. On one occasion we used their laminating service. The machine malfunctioned and ruined one of the items. They searched online for a replacement, printed it and laminated it, and gave us a discount when we weren't actually inconvenienced at all. That kind of customer service is hard to come by these days. I have since recommended them many times, and my friends agree that they are a great place to do business. read more

We've had several packages sent via UPS and they're inconsistent in what they will leave at the door. They'll leave a huge and tempting box in the hallway of our apartment building but on the same day leave a notice for a small parcel. When we come here to pick it up though, they are always courteous and we never have to wait too long. It's just a little annoying that they will leave some things and not others. read more

So, i go to this UPS store with a prepaid label and all i need from them is a UPS plastic envelope in which i can ship a small shirt back to the seller. Had a package delivered to the UPS store - (corner was banged up pretty good). Needed to send it on and was quoted a price of over 80.00 for 3 day shipping to CA! When I said that I was just going to the Post Office to send it, the girl assured me that she could look up their prices and let me know if the P.O. would be cheaper. She did so and told me it would be MORE and would get there 3 days LATER. I was skeptical but let it pass. Went home, and entered the dimensions and weight and discovered that my package would have been 40.00 LESS to ship with the P.O. and it would have arrived a day earlier. Went in today to complain and the manager told me their system must be a little off. Yeah, just a little. They just lost a customer. read more

This morning my husband went into this store to ship a sample of our well water to a lab for fluoride level testing. I stayed in the car with our 6 month old who had just gotten 3 shots and was fussy and tired. My husband went in with the small box all ready to go but not taped up just in case he needed to reference the packing slip inside the box for the shipping address. The lab requires the sample be shipped the same day it is collected and by UPS or FedEx. 25 minutes, 85 rounds of "You are my Sunshine", 1 nursing session, and 2 diaper changes later, no sign of hubby. I give him a call to make sure someone hasn't held of the UPS Store with him inside..."Well, there is only 1 person in front of me, so it can't possibly be much longer." OK. Fine. It's gotta be done today. Thank the sweet baby Jesus, the baby falls asleep. 40 minutes later (Yes, you read that correctly, he was in the store for 1 hour and 5 minutes....to ship a 8 inch x 5 inch x 5 inch box...Seriously...) he finally comes out. So why did it take so long? Apparently when he went it there was someone already in the process of being checked out, there was 1 person in front of him that had a question, and then 2 more people in front of him that had to ship 1 box each. There was only 1 person working the store. There was no good reason for it to take that long, and there was no apology given for the ridiculous wait besides a very sorry excuse of "The day started bad." Also, the cost of shipping was exorbitant $13.25 for standard ground shipping to Indiana (I later checked on the UPS website to see what it would have cost to have it picked up from our home, it would have been over $2 cheaper...and I didn't even consider looking at a flat rate box which I believe UPS has these days...and the worker at the UPS store did not offer a flat rate option either.) Also, the worker had to enter our credit card information manually (twice). Seriously? It is 2014. You don't have a credit card reader?! But what really burns my marshmallows? The "lady" who worked there had the audacity to charge my husband a $1 taping fee!!! What the hell?? You make him wait over an hour to ship a tiny little box, then you use 3 tiny pieces of packing tape and charge another buck? I just can't believe you are still open for business. Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service and a very poor way to run a store that is supposed to be a partner to small business owners (hey, the commercials are pretty nifty, but this store must have missed the memo.) I very rarely post reviews about anything, but now I'm going to go copy this review to every business review website I can find. read more
