Rude and unprofessional. When I walked in, the two women were already complaining about the customer that just left. With me, the person behind the counter acted like she just didn't have the time to be helpful or polite and I even had all my things ready! Terrible customer service. This is my go-to store for shipping packages and I have not been disappointed yet! Every time I have to drop something off, the customer service is quick and friendly. On my most recent visit, I shipped my sister-in-law some clothes out of state and was able to get everything packed up firmly so I didn't have to worry about everything not making it there in one piece. Their estimated delivery time was accurate and we had no issues. I don't ship things often so I usually am a little slow in line with not knowing what is needed and the employees are always understanding and helpful. read more

Good people here. Husband walked in 4 min to 7 pm with a package he had to send out yesterday. Staff was pleasant and assisted him immediately! I was happily surprised as he was barely there before closing! Big ups for the service with a smile!! I can honestly say I have been here twice before to ship stuff out myself and have never had an issue. They get to you pretty quickly and seem to be genuinely nice folks! I went to the UPS store to mail a package to another state for Christmas to a family member. It was aweful service. First of all there was a Lady in front of me who was mailing a package too. She was at the counter forever. She was arguing about some price issue. She finally paid but stormed out very irritated. I walk up to to the counter and set my package on the scale. The lady beyond the counter looked like she just saw a bad accident. She said we have new rules! We cannot ship any package that is wrapped in brown shipping paper with any kind of writing on it. She said she would have to rebox my package in one plain brown box and charge me $17.00. She told me the least expensive surface shipping fee would be $62.00 to go to CA. I had a small 9LB box. I will not pay $80.00!!!!! read more

They're an excellent example of how customer service should be. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. I had to return something to Amazon, and another time I had to return equipment to AT&T. I didn't know what to do either times. The ladies behind the counter simply explained (with a smile) and took care of it within a matter of minutes. They also provided a tip to keep my AT&T receipt for years b/c AT&T may come back and try to charge me for it. That is a prime example of how much they care. Use any store but this one. I ship because of work weekly. I came with a code for my prepaid shipping label that every single store usually scans and then generates my label. This store charged me an additional $3 computer fee even though I didn't use a computer, ups has their own scanned label makers and then they charged me additional fees for the printed label. I could care less about the dollar amount, it's just the principal of the matter, this location adding on unnecessary fees because they can. I mentioned this to the staff because I hadn't brought my wallet in because my label was already paid for and they wouldn't even acknowledge it. This location is the opposite of what an honest and fair UPS store is supposed to be. I know nothing is free, that's why I prepaid for my label. If you can avoid it, drive to another location. read more

Went into the store today to ship some Christmas presents, one of the gifts was perfume.. I was told that they could not ship it because it's illegal. I asked her how I had the perfume shipped to me ( I purchased it online), and she said they must have some special permit to ship it. Frustrated, I said that's fine, I'll find someone else to ship it, as I'm not an idiot. And she tried to convince me that no one would ship it because it's illegal. No ma'am, it's not illegal to ship perfume, it just has to be shipped ground. But, thank you for being incredibly rude to me. I went down the street to fed ex, told them that I need to ship perfume, and 5 minutes later my package was shipped fed ex ground. If you don't have the permit to ship perfume, that's fine. However, instead of being snarky and trying to convince your customers that their Christmas gifts are illegal to ship..try recommending other options, behind polite, and being helpful. read more

Went to return an Amazon package in its own box and a girl told me I needed to put it in another box. Didn't see why it was package properly. I said how much she said 8.19 for a small empty box. I thought this was insane so I went to another ups store nearby and gave them the same box and they said have a nice day. No extra box for 9 dollars so this place almost ripped me off. I've only used this location for their shipping services or to drop off packages, but I've never had a bad experience here. Whether there's a long line or just a couple of folks in the store, the employees work quickly, but you never feel rushed. On the occasions where I have needed something packaged at the store, great care was taken to make sure that the items arrived at their destination in one piece. The store is always clean and tidy, and if I've ever needed help finding something specific as far as a form or packing material, the folks are very quick to help. read more

I just made my second visit to this store. I came yesterday and the girl, (the same girl as today) told me they stopped notary services at 5:30. I was there at 5:40. So I was late. No big deal. I returned today. The notary is THE SAME girl that I dealt with yesterday! I asked her. Aren't you the girl I talked with yesterday. Gave me some generic "we have 3 girls working here" crap. Jumping forward, this pitiful excuse of an employee then proceeds to tell me they won't certify I9's. They have their own form but companies won't accept them. Well if course not! I even asked her, why didn't you tell me that yesterday. She didn't even respond. Just looked at me like she had just been slapped. Pitiful customer service, pitiful representative of the "UPS Store" brand. Do yourself a favor, find another place to do your business at. Staples offers the same services at a more competitive rate. I just wasted 45 min of my life arguing with the customer service rep as to why I was unable to pick up my package and they should release it to my babysitter. Me: I work 9-6 in Nashville and am unavailable during your business hours without taking off work. I need to authorize E----- to pick this package up for me. Lady: Our policy says they have to have a drivers license with the shipping address on it and be over the age of 21. Me: She's 19. Age should not matter here. Please add E---- as a person authorized to receive this package. Lady: Our policy says..... Me: Ok. Let me explain this another way. I paid an additional $50 to have it delivered to me instead of picking it up in Nashville. Because I work during normal business hours. In order for me to pick this package up, I have to literally take off work. Please add E----- to authorized persons to receive this package. She is on her way to the store for it now. Lady: blah blah blah blah blah (same ole shit on repeat) ME: ok. So your policy is bullshit. She is picking up a package, not alcohol. Age is still irrevelant and I could care less what your policy is. I need that package immediately. I paid for it. It is mine. I need it released to E----and now I want to speak with your manager. Lady: Your hold time for a manager is over 30 min.... Me: 30 min. really? So, not only are your policies nonsense, your customer service sucks too. I'll be sure to make a note of this. **Puts me on hold for 15 min** Comes back to phone call.... Lady: Ok, I can have it delivered to your house and let E---- sign for it. Me: NOPE. Too late for that option. She is now at your store waiting to pick it up. I need that package released to E now. As in right now. Lady: Ok, I will notate your account for the local rep to release it to her. And.....that conversation took 45 min. WHILE I WAS AT WORK. UPS: do better. This was the worst customer experience I've ever had with a shipping company. Terrible customer service. This should have been a simple 5 min phone call, not a waste of my work hour like that. This is the Worst UPS store in Murfreesboro. Not only did my gift get lost in transit but this location was like oh by a big bubble wrap envelope for it doesn't get lost. Wasn't even willing to refund my charges. I called them to let them no my package was suppose to be delivered days ago but these women in this store are just so unprofessional. I went in to ship an item that I sold on eBay, that couldn't weigh more than an ounce to California. The lady (owner, as her name tag displayed) was very rude and told me it would have to go in a box (when it easily could have fit in a padded envelope for less money) and it would be about $14 on top of the charge of the box (about $3) and it wouldn't get there until next Thursday. That was the cheapest option and wouldn't have even included any tracking information. I said that seemed a little high and that I could probably ship for less at the post office so I cancelled my transaction, went to the post office at US Pharmacy on St. Andrews a couple minutes away, and shipped that item, along with 3 other items all to different locations, for $16.52 and that included tracking information, and would be delivered by Monday (3 days sooner). Safe to say the UPS Store is overpriced and not very friendly. **In response to the response from the owner, none of the instruments I was shipping that day were sharp.** read more
