I received outstanding customer service from Ms. Val. When I visited this store, it was super busy with a line nearly out the door. I was very impressed with how efficiently the entire team worked and got the long line of people taken care of. Ms. Val did a great job packing my item and was full of helpful shipping recommendations. This UPS store was such a pleasant experience. Bad attitudes and negativity have become a common practice when dealing with the US Postal Service. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to have to deal with that when there are other options for shipping. read more

I had a pre-printed label and original Amazon packaging, waited in a 20 minute line only to be told I had to purchase their packaging for them to accept my item. If I could put 0 stars I would. The service workers are incompetent. They don't know how to write a normal address, they don't know how to put a suite number on the second line. It takes you an hour to ship 1 box not to mention the long lines that are constantly there even if 3 or more people are working. The worst customer service experience ever!!! I went in one day printed some paperwork it was under $2.00 one of the associates gave me a card for their services, I took the card and had the paperwork faxed over to the store. They charged me $17.20 for receiving of 6 pages. When I realized they weren't correct I called the office and they re-faxed paper work. I called the UPS store took my receipt and explained that I had paid for the paperwork and all I needed was 1 page the female owner/manager said that I had to pay for all the pages. She was VERY loud it was Embarrassing to say the least, the other associate then yanked the papers and stated we wouldn't be doing business. It would have came in $34.40 plus the $17.20? No thanks. zero stars. I returned 2 items for Amazon and after a few days of checking the shipping status online with the tracking number provided, there was 0 on file. I went to the store and whoever I spoke to told me that was Amazon's fault. I was confused. Since they (UPS store in New Caney) made the labels, they could of easily pulled it up. I dropped off two Amazon returns at this UPS Store location 2 weeks ago. As I began to wonder why I haven't received my credits from Amazon, I logged on to UPS Tracking to see what may have happened. I typed both of the tracking numbers that were given to may that day and BOTH of them simply state "Label Created" and no other movement. Apparently this store has not even shipped my items back to UPS!!! I now have to drive back 30 miles each way to attempt to get this resolved. I am not happy. I know this is an extremely busy time of year for a business of this type, but 2 weeks to ship something out of their store? C'mon...... read more

I came into the store on June 14th around 6:30 pm. The heavy set Hispanic woman who was working at the counter was racist and very rude to me for no reason at all. When I retaliated to her attitude she told me not to get an attitude with her and even told me to have a shitty day. She also accused me of lying as well when all I needed was a little bit of help. Your employees are paid to help customers not treat them like dirt. She had black curly hair and her nails done but I didn't catch her name. I've been calling the store and leaving voicemails but no one has returned my call. I would like to speak with manager or supervisor more about this issue. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - New Caney, Texas

Will never use this store or ups again. They took my open package then insisted on taping it for me. They taped it up very poorly apparently because one of the two 200$ items fell out during transit. I then went through their very unrealistic process to try and make a claim since I paid for their "insurance" only to be told over a week later that my package wasn't up to their standards so my 200$ item is not covered. Total garbage policies and business model. Their rates are no better than Fedex and their shipping is not any faster. read more

Sorry, but I have a lot of complaints that were never adjudicated by this place. The man owner claimed we could get a free month there after all our troubles with them. He never followed through with it. The woman owner said she would "try" to forward our mail for free. She never followed through with it. It was a nightmare renting a mailbox from them for 3 months. The worker that signed us up for a 3 month agreement had no idea what she was doing and it took far too long to get us all set up. She had to call the owner on the phone and he had to walk her though it and that only did so much. They were bickering over the phone in front us which was awkward. We should have just asked for a refund and stopped it all there. We saw the red flags, but we wanted to be kind and roll with it. THEN, it took them weeks, yes weeks, to finally give us our code for 24 hour access to our mailbox. I think this is part of what you pay so much money for compared to renting a mailbox with the post office, no? This was very upsetting to us because we could only make it to their store after their hours of business because of our work hours. NEXT, the owners decided to not allow 24 hour access for over a month because of robberies in the area WITHOUT EVER INFORMING US AS A COURTESY and I would think this would be a consumer's right, no? So, time and time again we would show up to try to get our mail and we could not access it. We wasted so much gas and time. We don't live around the corner from here. I swear that this is illegal. I sent emails and tried talking to them on the phone via repeated phone calls. They NEVER responded to us. We were ghosted! The owners know NOTHING about how to offer proper customer service. We finally were told why this was occurring when I finally had the opportunity to catch one of their employees during business hours. Okay, nice to know? FINALLY, we drove all the way there to pick up a package after receiving an email alert. We show up and one worker tells us it has not arrived yet. We refer to our email alert. They have no idea what we're talking about. We go to our vehicle, take a few breaths, ran to another store, come back in and talk to a different worker. We received our package which was waiting in the back. We were dumbfounded. We were informed she was a new employee. All righty then .. Unless we just have REALLY bad luck, I suggest you do not rent a mailbox here. Now we are with a different UPS and renting a mailbox with them is pleasant and much different. It says nothing about the items having to be in boxes or envelopes. I realize times are tough but taking advantage of your customers isn't quality service. read more

The employees here have always been friendly and helpful, however, if UPS loses a package, good luck getting reimbursed! I shipped a package on 7/3/2020 and UPS lost it. I began the claims process with one of the employees on 7/6/2020. Took two months for there to be a check covering the cost, but here it is, the end of October 2020 and I have yet to get that refund. I have called multiple times but the check is never there. I have gone to the store four times to pick up the check but it's never there. Apparently, the owner carries the checks around with him and unless you happen to be in the store when he's there, you will never get your money back. I have a full time job and cannot drop everything and come in when he's there, although I would definitely do my best after all this time. I can't get anyone to call me when he's there or get him to call me to let me know when to expect him to be available. I have no intention of ever using this location again. read more
