This may sound petty but let me know. So I work for Fedex and one of my regular stops is this UPS location. I'm consistently here bringing large orders and take the time to organize them to be nice for them in the store. Today when I show up as a customer, excited to see people, I may know, they tried to charge me two dollars for a piece of tape. I even explained don't you recognize me? I'm here all the time and I do you guys favors. Manager says it doesn't matter. This location is a nightmare. Staff is rude, bored and put out when you walk in with several packages. Never say hello, never acknowledge you, never say thank you or have a nice day. They are slooooow and don't offer any help when they see you are struggling and clearly have some physical limitations. I'm here from out-of-state visiting my mom and had three large Amazon returns. When the boxes were scanned, the Manager, I believe her name is Kelly, let me know each box had a separate return location. I messed up, obviously. Kelly went way above the norm as far as customer service and helped me cancel each item and set up the return all from that UPS location. Seems like my experience is consistent with the other reviewers, but if you need printing services - I would highly recommend going somewhere else! I brought in a flash drive to print my documents and he quoted me for the printing services, but neglected to tell me they also charge a computer fee to print. At other stores, you can print from a machine by plugging in your USB drive so you only have to pay for the copies. So for only ONE color page, I paid $3.50! It looks like it's family-owned so I didn't mind supporting them especially during this time, but transparency is key to customer service and hidden fees are ridiculous. You're better off going somewhere else to print and/or ship! read more

First of all, I use the store almost every day with my online business. Last Friday I walked in just before closing and they were mopping up the floor. Instead of tracking in the snow and slush from my boots, I handed my package to the gentleman who I've seen before and TRUSTED. If you're going to this location, don't forget your tape. My package required a 6 inch piece of tape, and this UPS store couldn't spare it. They made me purchase a $6 roll of tape to close my package. I have never had a UPS or FEDEX Store make me pay for tape. I highly recommend choosing a different location. read more

It was clearly not an everyday occurrence but they figured out the safest and most economical way to ship this. It arrived quickly and in-tact. This is the stupidest UPS location I have ever dealt with. They were supposed to ship a package over night, charged me $64 they could not find the address even though FedEx and USPS finds it just fine. They were supposed to send the package back to this store and they claim it's not there. I called UPS customer support a number of times and because it was shipped through a UPS store and not UPS I can't find the package or file a claim. DON'T EVER GO HERE! I dropped off a package here two weeks ago. The woman at the counter just told me to leave them there so I did. Well, 2 weeks later and the recipient never got them. I came back up and spoke to the owner, Raj. He told me he didn't believe no one offered me a drop off receipt (so I'm a liar?) and he didn't even bother to attempt to look for it. I visited this location to return some pillows with a free return slip and the owner, I believe was a very rude woman. She watched intently as the younger girl advised me to either purchase a box from them or get one from home if I did not have one because they could not ship it in the bag. I ran across the street to get a box which was slightly bigger than the box the item was originally shipped in and the rude older women snapped, you can purchase some tape and a box. She then, said I could tape the box, but actually it is too big. You will have to get a box that fits. I was very upset, but did not say one word more. I left and went to a very friendly UPS Store on 94th and Kedzie where I was treated kindly and the people were helpful! read more

I took it back and shipped it Next Day with another UPS store in Alsip. They told me it will be there on Monday, with plenty of time for my package to reach California!
